[19] This is their numbering according to their service to go into the house of the Lord, according to their appointment by the hand of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel commanded.

[20] And for the sons of Levi that were left, even for the sons of Ambram, Sobael: for the sons of Sobael, Jedia.

[21] For Raabia, the chief was Isaari,

[28] To Mooli were born Eleazar, and Ithamar; and Eleazar died, and had no sons.
[29] τῷ Κις· υἱοὶ τοῦ Κις Ιραμαηλ.
[29] For Kis; the sons of Kis; Jerameel.
[30] καὶ υἱοὶ τοῦ Μουσι Μοολι καὶ Εδερ καὶ Ιαριμωθ. οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν.
[30] And the sons of Musi; Mooli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to the houses of their families.
[31] καὶ ἔλαβον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν υἱοὶ Ααρων ἐναντίον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Σαδωκ καὶ Αχιμελεχ καὶ ἀρχόντων πατριῶν τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν, πατριάρχαι αρααβ καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ οἱ νεώτεροι.
[31] And they also received lots as their brethren the sons of Aaron before the king; Sadoc also, and Achimelech, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and of the Levites, principal heads of families, even as their younger brethren.
CHAPTER 25
[1] Καὶ ἔστησεν Δαυιδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ασαφ καὶ Αιμαν καὶ Ιδιθων τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν·
[1] And king David and the captains of the host appointed to their services the sons of Asaph, and of Æman, and of Idithun, prophesiers with harps, and lutes, and cymbals: and their number was according to their polls serving in their ministrations.
[2] υἱοὶ Ασαφ Ζακχουρ καὶ Ιωσηφ καὶ Ναθανιας καὶ Εραηλ, υἱοὶ Ασαφ ἐχόμενοι Ασαφ τοῦ προφήτου ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως.
[2] The sons of Asaph; Sacchur, Joseph, and Nathanias, and Erael: the sons of Asaph were next the king.
[3] τῷ Ιδιθων υἱοὶ Ιδιθων· Γοδολια καὶ Σουρι καὶ Ισαια καὶ Σεμει καὶ Ασαβια καὶ Ματταθιας, ἕξ, μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ιδιθων ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ.
[3] To Idithun were reckoned the sons of Idithun, Godolias, and Suri, and Iseas, and Asabias, and Matthathias, six after their father Idithun, sounding loudly on the harp thanksgiving and praise to the Lord.
[4] τῷ Αιμανι υἱοὶ Αιμαν· Βουκιας καὶ Μανθανιας καὶ Αζαραηλ καὶ Σουβαηλ καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Ανανιας καὶ Ανανι καὶ Ηλιαθα καὶ Γοδολλαθι καὶ Ρωμεμθι – ωδ καὶ Ιεσβακασα καὶ Μαλληθι καὶ Ωθηρι καὶ Μεαζωθ·
[4] To Æman were reckoned the sons of Æman, Bukias, and Matthanias, and Oziel, and Subael, and Jerimoth, and Ananias, and Anan, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rometthiezer, and Jesbasaca, and Mallithi, and Otheri, and Meazoth.
[5] πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αιμαν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν λόγοις θεοῦ ὑψῶσαι κέρας, καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς τῷ Αιμαν υἱοὺς δέκα τέσσαρας καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς.
[5] All these were the sons of Æman the king’s chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Æman fourteen sons, and three daughters.
[6] πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Ασαφ καὶ Ιδιθων καὶ Αιμανι.
[6] All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, and lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Idithun, and Æman.
[7] καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν, δεδιδαγμένοι ᾄδειν κυρίῳ, πᾶς συνίων, διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ. –
[7] And the number of them after their brethren, those instructed to sing to God, every one that understood singing was two hundred and eighty-eight.
[8] καὶ ἔβαλον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν, τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων.
[8] And they also cast lots for the daily courses, for the great and the small of them, of the perfect ones and the learners.
[9] καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ Ασαφ τῷ Ιωσηφ Γοδολια· ὁ δεύτερος Ηνια, ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[9] And the first lot of his sons and of his brethren came forth to Asaph the son of Joseph, namely, Godolias: the second Heneia, his sons and his brethren being twelve.
[10] ὁ τρίτος Ζακχουρ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[10] The third Zacchur, his sons and his brethren were twelve:
[11] ὁ τέταρτος Ιεσδρι, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[11] the fourth Jesri, his sons and his brethren were twelve:
[12] ὁ πέμπτος Ναθανιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[12] the fifth Nathan, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

[1] Εἰς διαιρέσεις τῶν πυλῶν· υἱοῖς Κορειμ Μοσολλαμια υἱὸς Κωρη ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Αβιασαφ.
[1] And for the divisions of the gates: the sons of the Corites were Mosellemia, of the sons of Asaph.
[2] καὶ τῷ Μοσολλαμια υἱοί· Ζαχαριας ὁ πρωτότοκος, Ιδιηλ ὁ δεύτερος, Ζαβαδιας ὁ τρίτος, Ιεθνουηλ ὁ τέταρτος,
[2] And Mosellemia’s first-born son was Zacharias, the second Jadiel, the third Zabadia, the fourth Jenuel,
[3] Ωλαμ ὁ πέμπτος, Ιωαναν ὁ ἕκτος, Ελιωηναι ὁ ἕβδομος.
[3] the fifth Jolam, the sixth Jonathan, the seventh Elionai, the eighth Abdedom.
[4] καὶ τῷ Αβδεδομ υἱοί· Σαμαιας ὁ πρωτότοκος, Ιωζαβαδ ὁ δεύτερος, Ιωαα ὁ τρίτος, Σωχαρ ὁ τέταρτος, Ναθαναηλ ὁ πέμπτος,
[4] And to Abdedom there were born sons, Samaias the first-born, Jozabath the second, Joath the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,
[5] Αμιηλ ὁ ἕκτος, Ισσαχαρ ὁ ἕβδομος, Φολλαθι ὁ ὄγδοος, ὅτι εὐλόγησεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός.
[5] Amiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phelathi the eighth: for God blessed him.
[6] καὶ τῷ Σαμαια υἱῷ αὐτοῦ ἐτέχθησαν υἱοὶ τοῦ πρωτοτόκου Ρωσαι εἰς τὸν οἶκον τὸν πατρικὸν αὐτοῦ, ὅτι δυνατοὶ ἦσαν.
[6] And to Samaias his son were born the sons of his first-born, chiefs over the house of their father, for they were mighty.
[7] υἱοὶ Σαμαια· Γοθνι καὶ Ραφαηλ καὶ Ωβηδ καὶ Ελζαβαδ καὶ Αχιου, υἱοὶ δυνατοί, Ελιου καὶ Σαβχια καὶ Ισβακωμ.
[7] The sons of Samai; Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, and Elzabath, and Achiud, mighty men, Heliu, and Sabachia, and Isbacom.
[8] πάντες ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Αβδεδομ, αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ποιοῦντες δυνατῶς ἐν τῇ ἐργασίᾳ, οἱ πάντες ἑξήκοντα δύο τῷ Αβδεδομ.
[8] All these were of the sons of Abdedom, they and their sons and their brethren, doing mightily in service: in all sixty-two born to Abdedom.
[9] καὶ τῷ Μοσολλαμια υἱοὶ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ δέκα καὶ ὀκτὼ δυνατοί.
[9] And Mosellemia had eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.
[10] καὶ τῷ Ωσα τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι υἱοὶ φυλάσσοντες τὴν ἀρχήν, ὅτι οὐκ ἦν πρωτότοκος, καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἄρχοντα
[10] And to Osa of the sons of Merari there were born sons, keeping the dominion; though he was not the first-born, yet his father made him chief of the second division.
[11] τῆς διαιρέσεως τῆς δευτέρας, Ταβλαι ὁ τρίτος, Ζαχαριας ὁ τέταρτος· πάντες οὗτοι, υἱοὶ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ τῷ Ωσα, τρισκαίδεκα. –
[11] Chelcias the second, Tablai the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these were the sons and brethren of Osa, thirteen.
[12] τούτοις αἱ διαιρέσεις τῶν πυλῶν, τοῖς ἄρχουσι τῶν δυνατῶν, ἐφημερίαι καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν λειτουργεῖν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου.

[13] καὶ ἔβαλον κλήρους κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν εἰς πυλῶνα καὶ πυλῶνα.
[13] And they cast lots for the small as well as for the great, for the several gates, according to their families.
[14] καὶ ἔπεσεν ὁ κλῆρος τῶν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς τῷ Σαλαμια καὶ Ζαχαρια· υἱοὶ Ιωας τῷ Μελχια ἔβαλον κλήρους, καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος βορρᾶ·
[14] And the lot of the east gates fell to Selemias, and Zacharias: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.
[15] τῷ Αβδεδομ νότον κατέναντι οἴκου εσεφιν
[15] To Abdedom they gave by lot the south, opposite the house of Esephim.
[16] εἰς δεύτερον· τῷ Ωσα πρὸς δυσμαῖς μετὰ τὴν πύλην παστοφορίου τῆς ἀναβάσεως· φυλακὴ κατέναντι φυλακῆς.
[16] They gave the lot for the second to Osa westward, after the gate of the chamber by the ascent, watch against watch.
[17] πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἓξ τὴν ἡμέραν, βορρᾶ τῆς ἡμέρας τέσσαρες, νότον τῆς ἡμέρας τέσσαρες, καὶ εἰς τὸ εσεφιν δύο·
[17] Eastward were six watchmen in the day; northward four by the day; southward four by the day; and two at the Esephim,
[18] εἰς διαδεχομένους, καὶ πρὸς δυσμαῖς τέσσαρες, καὶ εἰς τὸν τρίβον δύο διαδεχομένους.
[18] to relieve guard, also for Osa westward after the chamber-gate, three. There was a ward over against the ward of the ascent eastward, six men in a day, and four for the north, and four for the south, and at the Esephim two to relieve guard, and four by the west, and two to relieve guard at the pathway.

[30] And the sons of Musi; Mooli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to the houses of their families.
[31] καὶ ἔλαβον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν υἱοὶ Ααρων ἐναντίον τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Σαδωκ καὶ Αχιμελεχ καὶ ἀρχόντων πατριῶν τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν, πατριάρχαι αρααβ καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ οἱ νεώτεροι.
[31] And they also received lots as their brethren the sons of Aaron before the king; Sadoc also, and Achimelech, and the chiefs of the families of the priests and of the Levites, principal heads of families, even as their younger brethren.
CHAPTER 25
[1] Καὶ ἔστησεν Δαυιδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ασαφ καὶ Αιμαν καὶ Ιδιθων τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν·
[1] And king David and the captains of the host appointed to their services the sons of Asaph, and of Æman, and of Idithun, prophesiers with harps, and lutes, and cymbals: and their number was according to their polls serving in their ministrations.
[2] υἱοὶ Ασαφ Ζακχουρ καὶ Ιωσηφ καὶ Ναθανιας καὶ Εραηλ, υἱοὶ Ασαφ ἐχόμενοι Ασαφ τοῦ προφήτου ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως.
[2] The sons of Asaph; Sacchur, Joseph, and Nathanias, and Erael: the sons of Asaph were next the king.
[3] τῷ Ιδιθων υἱοὶ Ιδιθων· Γοδολια καὶ Σουρι καὶ Ισαια καὶ Σεμει καὶ Ασαβια καὶ Ματταθιας, ἕξ, μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ιδιθων ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ.
[3] To Idithun were reckoned the sons of Idithun, Godolias, and Suri, and Iseas, and Asabias, and Matthathias, six after their father Idithun, sounding loudly on the harp thanksgiving and praise to the Lord.
[4] τῷ Αιμανι υἱοὶ Αιμαν· Βουκιας καὶ Μανθανιας καὶ Αζαραηλ καὶ Σουβαηλ καὶ Ιεριμωθ καὶ Ανανιας καὶ Ανανι καὶ Ηλιαθα καὶ Γοδολλαθι καὶ Ρωμεμθι – ωδ καὶ Ιεσβακασα καὶ Μαλληθι καὶ Ωθηρι καὶ Μεαζωθ·
[4] To Æman were reckoned the sons of Æman, Bukias, and Matthanias, and Oziel, and Subael, and Jerimoth, and Ananias, and Anan, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rometthiezer, and Jesbasaca, and Mallithi, and Otheri, and Meazoth.
[5] πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αιμαν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν λόγοις θεοῦ ὑψῶσαι κέρας, καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς τῷ Αιμαν υἱοὺς δέκα τέσσαρας καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς.
[5] All these were the sons of Æman the king’s chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Æman fourteen sons, and three daughters.
[6] πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ Ασαφ καὶ Ιδιθων καὶ Αιμανι.
[6] All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, and lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Idithun, and Æman.
[7] καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν, δεδιδαγμένοι ᾄδειν κυρίῳ, πᾶς συνίων, διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ. –
[7] And the number of them after their brethren, those instructed to sing to God, every one that understood singing was two hundred and eighty-eight.
[8] καὶ ἔβαλον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν, τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων.
[8] And they also cast lots for the daily courses, for the great and the small of them, of the perfect ones and the learners.
[9] καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ Ασαφ τῷ Ιωσηφ Γοδολια· ὁ δεύτερος Ηνια, ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[9] And the first lot of his sons and of his brethren came forth to Asaph the son of Joseph, namely, Godolias: the second Heneia, his sons and his brethren being twelve.
[10] ὁ τρίτος Ζακχουρ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[10] The third Zacchur, his sons and his brethren were twelve:
[11] ὁ τέταρτος Ιεσδρι, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[11] the fourth Jesri, his sons and his brethren were twelve:
[12] ὁ πέμπτος Ναθανιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[12] the fifth Nathan, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[13] ὁ ἕκτος Βουκιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[13] the sixth Bukias, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[14] ὁ ἕβδομος Ισεριηλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[14] the seventh Iseriel, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[15] ὁ ὄγδοος Ιωσια, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[15] the eighth Josia, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[16] ὁ ἔνατος Μανθανιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[16] the ninth Matthanias, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[17] ὁ δέκατος Σεμει, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[17] the tenth Semeia, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[18] ὁ ἑνδέκατος Αζαρια, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[18] the eleventh Asriel, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[19] ὁ δωδέκατος Ασαβια, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[19] the twelfth Asabia, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[20] ὁ τρισκαιδέκατος Σουβαηλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[20] the thirteenth Subael, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[21] ὁ τεσσαρεσκαιδέκατος Ματταθιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[21] the fourteenth Matthathias, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[22] ὁ πεντεκαιδέκατος Ιεριμωθ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[22] the fifteenth Jerimoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[23] ὁ ἑκκαιδέκατος Ανανιας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[23] the sixteenth Anania, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[24] ὁ ἑπτακαιδέκατος Ιεσβακασα, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[24] the seventeenth Jesbasaca, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[25] ὁ ὀκτωκαιδέκατος Ανανι, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[25] the eighteenth Ananias, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[26] ὁ ἐννεακαιδέκατος Μελληθι, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[26] the nineteenth Mallithi, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[27] ὁ εἰκοστὸς Ελιαθα, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[27] the twentieth Heliatha, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[28] ὁ εἰκοστὸς πρῶτος Ηθιρ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[28] the twenty-first Otheri, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[29] ὁ εἰκοστὸς δεύτερος Γοδολλαθι, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[29] the twenty-second Godollathi, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[30] ὁ τρίτος καὶ εἰκοστὸς Μεαζωθ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο·
[30] the twenty-third Meazoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
[31] ὁ τέταρτος καὶ εἰκοστὸς Ρωμεμθι – ωδ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ, δέκα δύο.
[31] the twenty-fourth Rometthiezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve:
CHAPTER 26
[1] Εἰς διαιρέσεις τῶν πυλῶν· υἱοῖς Κορειμ Μοσολλαμια υἱὸς Κωρη ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Αβιασαφ.
[1] And for the divisions of the gates: the sons of the Corites were Mosellemia, of the sons of Asaph.
[2] καὶ τῷ Μοσολλαμια υἱοί· Ζαχαριας ὁ πρωτότοκος, Ιδιηλ ὁ δεύτερος, Ζαβαδιας ὁ τρίτος, Ιεθνουηλ ὁ τέταρτος,
[2] And Mosellemia’s first-born son was Zacharias, the second Jadiel, the third Zabadia, the fourth Jenuel,
[3] Ωλαμ ὁ πέμπτος, Ιωαναν ὁ ἕκτος, Ελιωηναι ὁ ἕβδομος.
[3] the fifth Jolam, the sixth Jonathan, the seventh Elionai, the eighth Abdedom.
[4] καὶ τῷ Αβδεδομ υἱοί· Σαμαιας ὁ πρωτότοκος, Ιωζαβαδ ὁ δεύτερος, Ιωαα ὁ τρίτος, Σωχαρ ὁ τέταρτος, Ναθαναηλ ὁ πέμπτος,
[4] And to Abdedom there were born sons, Samaias the first-born, Jozabath the second, Joath the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,
[5] Αμιηλ ὁ ἕκτος, Ισσαχαρ ὁ ἕβδομος, Φολλαθι ὁ ὄγδοος, ὅτι εὐλόγησεν αὐτὸν ὁ θεός.
[5] Amiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phelathi the eighth: for God blessed him.
[6] καὶ τῷ Σαμαια υἱῷ αὐτοῦ ἐτέχθησαν υἱοὶ τοῦ πρωτοτόκου Ρωσαι εἰς τὸν οἶκον τὸν πατρικὸν αὐτοῦ, ὅτι δυνατοὶ ἦσαν.
[6] And to Samaias his son were born the sons of his first-born, chiefs over the house of their father, for they were mighty.
[7] υἱοὶ Σαμαια· Γοθνι καὶ Ραφαηλ καὶ Ωβηδ καὶ Ελζαβαδ καὶ Αχιου, υἱοὶ δυνατοί, Ελιου καὶ Σαβχια καὶ Ισβακωμ.
[7] The sons of Samai; Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, and Elzabath, and Achiud, mighty men, Heliu, and Sabachia, and Isbacom.
[8] πάντες ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Αβδεδομ, αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν καὶ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ποιοῦντες δυνατῶς ἐν τῇ ἐργασίᾳ, οἱ πάντες ἑξήκοντα δύο τῷ Αβδεδομ.
[8] All these were of the sons of Abdedom, they and their sons and their brethren, doing mightily in service: in all sixty-two born to Abdedom.
[9] καὶ τῷ Μοσολλαμια υἱοὶ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ δέκα καὶ ὀκτὼ δυνατοί.
[9] And Mosellemia had eighteen sons and brethren, mighty men.
[10] καὶ τῷ Ωσα τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι υἱοὶ φυλάσσοντες τὴν ἀρχήν, ὅτι οὐκ ἦν πρωτότοκος, καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἄρχοντα
[10] And to Osa of the sons of Merari there were born sons, keeping the dominion; though he was not the first-born, yet his father made him chief of the second division.
[11] τῆς διαιρέσεως τῆς δευτέρας, Ταβλαι ὁ τρίτος, Ζαχαριας ὁ τέταρτος· πάντες οὗτοι, υἱοὶ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ τῷ Ωσα, τρισκαίδεκα. –
[11] Chelcias the second, Tablai the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these were the sons and brethren of Osa, thirteen.
[12] τούτοις αἱ διαιρέσεις τῶν πυλῶν, τοῖς ἄρχουσι τῶν δυνατῶν, ἐφημερίαι καθὼς οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν λειτουργεῖν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου.
[12] To these were assigned the divisions of the gates, to the chiefs of the mighty men the daily courses, even their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
[13] καὶ ἔβαλον κλήρους κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν εἰς πυλῶνα καὶ πυλῶνα.
[13] And they cast lots for the small as well as for the great, for the several gates, according to their families.
[14] καὶ ἔπεσεν ὁ κλῆρος τῶν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς τῷ Σαλαμια καὶ Ζαχαρια· υἱοὶ Ιωας τῷ Μελχια ἔβαλον κλήρους, καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος βορρᾶ·
[14] And the lot of the east gates fell to Selemias, and Zacharias: the sons of Soaz cast lots for Melchias, and the lot came out northward.
[15] τῷ Αβδεδομ νότον κατέναντι οἴκου εσεφιν
[15] To Abdedom they gave by lot the south, opposite the house of Esephim.
[16] εἰς δεύτερον· τῷ Ωσα πρὸς δυσμαῖς μετὰ τὴν πύλην παστοφορίου τῆς ἀναβάσεως· φυλακὴ κατέναντι φυλακῆς.
[16] They gave the lot for the second to Osa westward, after the gate of the chamber by the ascent, watch against watch.
[17] πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἓξ τὴν ἡμέραν, βορρᾶ τῆς ἡμέρας τέσσαρες, νότον τῆς ἡμέρας τέσσαρες, καὶ εἰς τὸ εσεφιν δύο·
[17] Eastward were six watchmen in the day; northward four by the day; southward four by the day; and two at the Esephim,
[18] εἰς διαδεχομένους, καὶ πρὸς δυσμαῖς τέσσαρες, καὶ εἰς τὸν τρίβον δύο διαδεχομένους.
[18] to relieve guard, also for Osa westward after the chamber-gate, three. There was a ward over against the ward of the ascent eastward, six men in a day, and four for the north, and four for the south, and at the Esephim two to relieve guard, and four by the west, and two to relieve guard at the pathway.
