[10] And in the days of Saul they made war upon the sojourners in the land; and they fell into their hands, all of them dwelling in their tents eastward of Galaad.
[11] Υἱοὶ Γαδ κατέναντι αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν τῇ Βασαν ἕως Σελχα.
[11] The sons of Gad dwelt over against them in the land of Basan even to Sela.
[12] Ιωηλ ὁ πρωτότοκος, καὶ Σαφαμ ὁ δεύτερος, καὶ Ιανι ὁ γραμματεὺς ἐν Βασαν.
[12] Joel the first-born, and Sapham the second, and Janin the scribe in Basan.
[13] καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν· Μιχαηλ, Μοσολλαμ καὶ Σεβεε καὶ Ιωρεε καὶ Ιαχαν καὶ Ζουε καὶ Ωβηδ, ἑπτά.
[13] And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers; Michael, Mosollam, and Sebee, and Joree, and Joachan, and Zue, and Obed, seven.
[14] οὗτοι υἱοὶ Αβιχαιλ υἱοῦ Ουρι υἱοῦ Ιδαι υἱοῦ Γαλααδ υἱοῦ Μιχαηλ υἱοῦ Ισαι υἱοῦ Ιουρι υἱοῦ Ζαβουχαμ
[14] These are the sons of Abichaia the son of Uri, the son of Idai, the son of Galaad, the son of Michael, the son of Jesai, the son of Jeddai, the son of Buz,
[15] υἱοῦ Αβδιηλ υἱοῦ Γουνι· ἄρχων οἴκου πατριῶν.
[15] who was the brother of the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, he was chief of the house of their families.
[16] κατῴκουν ἐν Γαλααδ, ἐν Βασαν καὶ ἐν ταῖς κώμαις αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ περίχωρα Σαρων ἕως ἐξόδου.
[16] They dwelt in Galaad, in Basan, and in their villages, and in all the country round about Saron to the border.
[17] πάντων ὁ καταλοχισμὸς ἐν ἡμέραις Ιωαθαμ βασιλέως Ιουδα καὶ ἐν ἡμέραις Ιεροβοαμ βασιλέως Ισραηλ.
[17] The enumeration of them all took place in the days of Joatham king of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
[18] Υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ Γαδ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση ἐξ υἱῶν δυνάμεως, ἄνδρες αἴροντες ἀσπίδας καὶ μάχαιραν καὶ τείνοντες τόξον καὶ δεδιδαγμένοι πόλεμον, τεσσαράκοντα καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἐκπορευόμενοι εἰς παράταξιν.
[18] The sons of Ruben and Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasse, of mighty men, bearing shields and sword, and bending the bow, and skilled in war, were forty and four thousand and seven hundred and sixty, going forth to battle.
[19] καὶ ἐποίουν πόλεμον μετὰ τῶν Αγαρηνῶν καὶ Ιτουραίων καὶ Ναφισαίων καὶ Ναδαβαίων
[19] And they made war with the Agarenes, and Itureans, and Naphiseans, and Nadabeans,
[20] καὶ κατίσχυσαν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐδόθησαν εἰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν οἱ Αγαραῖοι καὶ πάντα τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτῶν, ὅτι πρὸς τὸν θεὸν ἐβόησαν ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ, καὶ ἐπήκουσεν αὐτοῖς, ὅτι ἤλπισαν ἐπ’ αὐτόν.
[20] and they prevailed against them: and the Agaraeans were given into their hands, they and all their tents: for they cried to God in the battle, and he hearkened to them, because they trusted on him.
[21] καὶ ᾐχμαλώτευσαν τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτῶν, καμήλους πεντακισχιλίας καὶ προβάτων διακοσίας πεντήκοντα χιλιάδας, ὄνους δισχιλίους καὶ ψυχὰς ἀνδρῶν ἑκατὸν χιλιάδας·
[21] And they took captive their store; five thousand camels, and two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, two thousand asses, and a hundred thousand men.
[22] ὅτι τραυματίαι πολλοὶ ἔπεσον, ὅτι παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ὁ πόλεμος. καὶ κατῴκησαν ἀντ αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς μετοικεσίας.
[22] For many fell slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their place until the captivity.
[23] Καὶ οἱ ἡμίσεις φυλῆς Μανασση κατῴκησαν ἐν τῇ γῇ ἀπὸ Βασαν ἕως Βααλερμων καὶ Σανιρ καὶ ὄρος Αερμων· καὶ ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ αὐτοὶ ἐπλεονάσθησαν.
[23] And the half-tribe of Manasse dwelt from Basan to Baal, Ermon, and Sanir, and to the mount Aermon: and they increased in Libanus.
[24] καὶ οὗτοι ἀρχηγοὶ οἴκου πατριῶν αὐτῶν· Οφερ καὶ Ισει καὶ Ελιηλ καὶ Εσδριηλ καὶ Ιερμια καὶ Ωδουια καὶ Ιεδιηλ, ἄνδρες ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει, ἄνδρες ὀνομαστοί, ἄρχοντες τῶν οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν.
[24] And these were the heads of the houses of their families; Opher, and Sei, and Eliel, and Jeremia, and Oduia, and Jediel, mighty men of valour, men of renown, heads of the houses of their families.
[25] Καὶ ἠθέτησαν ἐν θεῷ πατέρων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπόρνευσαν ὀπίσω θεῶν λαῶν τῆς γῆς, οὓς ἐξῆρεν ὁ θεὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν.
[25] But they rebelled against the God of their fathers, and went a-whoring after the gods of the nations of the land, whom God cast out from before them.
[26] καὶ ἐπήγειρεν ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ τὸ πνεῦμα Φαλωχ βασιλέως Ασσουρ καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα Θαγλαθφαλνασαρ βασιλέως Ασσουρ, καὶ μετῴκισεν τὸν Ρουβην καὶ τὸν Γαδδι καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς Χαλαχ καὶ Χαβωρ καὶ ἐπὶ ποταμὸν Γωζαν ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
[26] And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Phaloch king of Assyria, and the spirit of Thagla-phallasar king of Assyria, and carried away Ruben and Gaddi, and the half-tribe of Manasse, and brought them to Chaach, and Chabor, and to the river Gozan, until this day.
[27] Υἱοὶ Λευι· Γεδσων, Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι.
[1] The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
[28] καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ· Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ, Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ.
[2] And the sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
[29] καὶ υἱοὶ Αμβραμ· Ααρων καὶ Μωϋσῆς καὶ Μαριαμ. καὶ υἱοὶ Ααρων· Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ, Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ.
[3] And the sons of Ambram; Aaron, and Moses, and Mariam: and the sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abiud, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
[30] Ελεαζαρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Φινεες, Φινεες ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβισου,
[4] Eleazar begot Phinees, Phinees begot Abisu;
[31] Αβισου ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βωκαι, Βωκαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Οζι,
[5] Abisu begot Bokki, and Bokki begot Ozi;
[32] Οζι ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαραια, Ζαραια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαριηλ,
[6] Ozi begot Zaraia, Zaraia begot Mariel;
[33] καὶ Μαριηλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμαρια, καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ,
[7] and Mariel begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
[34] καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ, καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιμαας,
[8] and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas;
[35] καὶ Αχιμαας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια, καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωαναν,
[9] and Achimaas begot Azarias, and Azarias begot Joanan;
[36] καὶ Ιωανας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαριαν· οὗτος ἱεράτευσεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ, ᾧ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων ἐν Ιερουσαλημ.
[10] and Joanan begot Azarias: he ministered as priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.
[37] καὶ ἐγέννησεν Αζαρια τὸν Αμαρια, καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ,
[11] And Azarias begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
[38] καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ, καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλωμ,
[12] and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Salom;
[39] καὶ Σαλωμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Χελκιαν, καὶ Χελκιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια,
[13] and Salom begot Chelcias, and Chelcias begot Azarias;
[40] καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαραια, καὶ Σαραιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωσαδακ.
[14] and Azarias begot Saraia, and Saraias begot Josadac.
[41] καὶ Ιωσαδακ ἐπορεύθη ἐν τῇ μετοικίᾳ μετὰ Ιουδα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν χειρὶ Ναβουχοδονοσορ.
[15] And Josadac went into captivity with Juda and Jerusalem under Nabuchodonosor.
CHAPTER 6
[1] Υἱοὶ Λευι· Γεδσων, Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι.
[16] The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
[2] καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσων· Λοβενι καὶ Σεμει.
[17] And these are the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.
[3] υἱοὶ Κααθ· Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ, Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ.
[18] The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
[4] υἱοὶ Μεραρι· Μοολι καὶ Ομουσι. – καὶ αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τοῦ Λευι κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν·
[19] The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these are the families of Levi, according to their families.
[5] τῷ Γεδσων· τῷ Λοβενι υἱῷ αὐτοῦ Ιεεθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζεμμα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[20] To Gedson — to Lobeni his son — were born Jeth his son, Zammath his son,
[6] Ιωαχ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αδδι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζαρα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ιεθρι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. –

[26] Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;
[12] Ελιαβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ιδαερ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
[27] Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.
[13] υἱοὶ Σαμουηλ· ὁ πρωτότοκος Σανι καὶ Αβια. –
[28] The sons of Samuel; the first-born Sani, and Abia.

[16] Καὶ οὗτοι οὓς κατέστησεν Δαυιδ ἐπὶ χεῖρας ᾀδόντων ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν τῇ καταπαύσει τῆς κιβωτοῦ,
[31] And these were the men whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
[17] καὶ ἦσαν λειτουργοῦντες ἐναντίον τῆς σκηνῆς οἴκου μαρτυρίου ἐν ὀργάνοις, ἕως οὗ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων τὸν οἶκον κυρίου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ, καὶ ἔστησαν κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν.
[32] And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness playing on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
[18] καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἑστηκότες καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν τοῦ Κααθ· Αιμαν ὁ ψαλτῳδὸς υἱὸς Ιωηλ υἱοῦ Σαμουηλ
[33] And these were the men that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Æman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
[19] υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Ηδαδ υἱοῦ Ελιηλ υἱοῦ Θιε
[34] the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,
[20] υἱοῦ Σουφ υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Μεθ’ υἱοῦ Αμασιου
[35] the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,

[36] the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,

[37] the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,
[23] υἱοῦ Ισσααρ υἱοῦ Κααθ υἱοῦ Λευι υἱοῦ Ισραηλ. –
[38] the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
[24] καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ Ασαφ ὁ ἑστηκὼς ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ· Ασαφ υἱὸς Βαραχια υἱοῦ Σαμαα
[39] And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,
[25] υἱοῦ Μιχαηλ υἱοῦ Μαασια υἱοῦ Μελχια
[40] the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,
[26] υἱοῦ Αθανι υἱοῦ Ζαραι υἱοῦ Αδια
[41] the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,
[27] υἱοῦ Αιθαν υἱοῦ Ζαμμα υἱοῦ Σεμει
[42] the son of Adai, the son of Ætham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,
[28] υἱοῦ Ηχα υἱοῦ Γεδσων υἱοῦ Λευι. –
[43] the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.
[29] καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι ἀδελφοῦ αὐτῶν ἐξ ἀριστερῶν· Αιθαν υἱὸς Κισαι υἱοῦ Αβδι υἱοῦ Μαλωχ
[44] And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Ætham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,
[30] υἱοῦ Ασεβι υἱοῦ Αμεσσια υἱοῦ Χελκιου
[45] the son of Asebi,
[31] υἱοῦ Αμασαι υἱοῦ Βανι υἱοῦ Σεμμηρ
[46] the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,
[32] υἱοῦ Μοολι υἱοῦ Μουσι υἱοῦ Μεραρι υἱοῦ Λευι.
[47] the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
[33] Καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν οἱ Λευῖται δεδομένοι εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας σκηνῆς οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ.
[48] And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, were the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
[34] καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ θυμιῶντες ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν θυμιαμάτων εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Μωϋσῆς παῖς τοῦ θεοῦ. –
[49] And Aaron and his sons were to burn incense on the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry in the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.
[35] καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ααρων· Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. Φινεες υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αβισου υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[50] And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,

[20] καὶ κατίσχυσαν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐδόθησαν εἰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν οἱ Αγαραῖοι καὶ πάντα τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτῶν, ὅτι πρὸς τὸν θεὸν ἐβόησαν ἐν τῷ πολέμῳ, καὶ ἐπήκουσεν αὐτοῖς, ὅτι ἤλπισαν ἐπ’ αὐτόν.
[20] and they prevailed against them: and the Agaraeans were given into their hands, they and all their tents: for they cried to God in the battle, and he hearkened to them, because they trusted on him.
[21] καὶ ᾐχμαλώτευσαν τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτῶν, καμήλους πεντακισχιλίας καὶ προβάτων διακοσίας πεντήκοντα χιλιάδας, ὄνους δισχιλίους καὶ ψυχὰς ἀνδρῶν ἑκατὸν χιλιάδας·
[21] And they took captive their store; five thousand camels, and two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, two thousand asses, and a hundred thousand men.
[22] ὅτι τραυματίαι πολλοὶ ἔπεσον, ὅτι παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ ὁ πόλεμος. καὶ κατῴκησαν ἀντ αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς μετοικεσίας.
[22] For many fell slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their place until the captivity.
[23] Καὶ οἱ ἡμίσεις φυλῆς Μανασση κατῴκησαν ἐν τῇ γῇ ἀπὸ Βασαν ἕως Βααλερμων καὶ Σανιρ καὶ ὄρος Αερμων· καὶ ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ αὐτοὶ ἐπλεονάσθησαν.
[23] And the half-tribe of Manasse dwelt from Basan to Baal, Ermon, and Sanir, and to the mount Aermon: and they increased in Libanus.
[24] καὶ οὗτοι ἀρχηγοὶ οἴκου πατριῶν αὐτῶν· Οφερ καὶ Ισει καὶ Ελιηλ καὶ Εσδριηλ καὶ Ιερμια καὶ Ωδουια καὶ Ιεδιηλ, ἄνδρες ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει, ἄνδρες ὀνομαστοί, ἄρχοντες τῶν οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν.
[24] And these were the heads of the houses of their families; Opher, and Sei, and Eliel, and Jeremia, and Oduia, and Jediel, mighty men of valour, men of renown, heads of the houses of their families.
[25] Καὶ ἠθέτησαν ἐν θεῷ πατέρων αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπόρνευσαν ὀπίσω θεῶν λαῶν τῆς γῆς, οὓς ἐξῆρεν ὁ θεὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν.
[25] But they rebelled against the God of their fathers, and went a-whoring after the gods of the nations of the land, whom God cast out from before them.
[26] καὶ ἐπήγειρεν ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ τὸ πνεῦμα Φαλωχ βασιλέως Ασσουρ καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα Θαγλαθφαλνασαρ βασιλέως Ασσουρ, καὶ μετῴκισεν τὸν Ρουβην καὶ τὸν Γαδδι καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς Χαλαχ καὶ Χαβωρ καὶ ἐπὶ ποταμὸν Γωζαν ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
[26] And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Phaloch king of Assyria, and the spirit of Thagla-phallasar king of Assyria, and carried away Ruben and Gaddi, and the half-tribe of Manasse, and brought them to Chaach, and Chabor, and to the river Gozan, until this day.
[27] Υἱοὶ Λευι· Γεδσων, Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι.
[1] The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
[28] καὶ υἱοὶ Κααθ· Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ, Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ.
[2] And the sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
[29] καὶ υἱοὶ Αμβραμ· Ααρων καὶ Μωϋσῆς καὶ Μαριαμ. καὶ υἱοὶ Ααρων· Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ, Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ.
[3] And the sons of Ambram; Aaron, and Moses, and Mariam: and the sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abiud, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
[30] Ελεαζαρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Φινεες, Φινεες ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβισου,
[4] Eleazar begot Phinees, Phinees begot Abisu;
[31] Αβισου ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βωκαι, Βωκαι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Οζι,
[5] Abisu begot Bokki, and Bokki begot Ozi;
[32] Οζι ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαραια, Ζαραια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μαριηλ,
[6] Ozi begot Zaraia, Zaraia begot Mariel;
[33] καὶ Μαριηλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αμαρια, καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ,
[7] and Mariel begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
[34] καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ, καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιμαας,
[8] and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas;
[35] καὶ Αχιμαας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια, καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωαναν,
[9] and Achimaas begot Azarias, and Azarias begot Joanan;
[36] καὶ Ιωανας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαριαν· οὗτος ἱεράτευσεν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ, ᾧ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων ἐν Ιερουσαλημ.
[10] and Joanan begot Azarias: he ministered as priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.
[37] καὶ ἐγέννησεν Αζαρια τὸν Αμαρια, καὶ Αμαρια ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αχιτωβ,
[11] And Azarias begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
[38] καὶ Αχιτωβ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαδωκ, καὶ Σαδωκ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλωμ,
[12] and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Salom;
[39] καὶ Σαλωμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Χελκιαν, καὶ Χελκιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αζαρια,
[13] and Salom begot Chelcias, and Chelcias begot Azarias;
[40] καὶ Αζαριας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαραια, καὶ Σαραιας ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωσαδακ.
[14] and Azarias begot Saraia, and Saraias begot Josadac.
[41] καὶ Ιωσαδακ ἐπορεύθη ἐν τῇ μετοικίᾳ μετὰ Ιουδα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν χειρὶ Ναβουχοδονοσορ.
[15] And Josadac went into captivity with Juda and Jerusalem under Nabuchodonosor.
CHAPTER 6
[1] Υἱοὶ Λευι· Γεδσων, Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι.
[16] The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
[2] καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσων· Λοβενι καὶ Σεμει.
[17] And these are the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.
[3] υἱοὶ Κααθ· Αμβραμ καὶ Ισσααρ, Χεβρων καὶ Οζιηλ.
[18] The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
[4] υἱοὶ Μεραρι· Μοολι καὶ Ομουσι. – καὶ αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τοῦ Λευι κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν·
[19] The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these are the families of Levi, according to their families.
[5] τῷ Γεδσων· τῷ Λοβενι υἱῷ αὐτοῦ Ιεεθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζεμμα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[20] To Gedson — to Lobeni his son — were born Jeth his son, Zammath his son,
[6] Ιωαχ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αδδι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζαρα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ιεθρι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. –
[21] Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.
[7] υἱοὶ Κααθ· Αμιναδαβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Κορε υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ασιρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[22] The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;
[8] Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, καὶ Αβιασαφ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ασιρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[23] Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:
[9] Θααθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ουριηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Οζια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σαουλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
[24] Thaath his son, Uriel his son, Ozia his son, Saul his son.
[10] καὶ υἱοὶ Ελκανα· Αμασι καὶ Αχιμωθ,
[25] And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.
[11] Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σουφι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ Νααθ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[26] Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;
[12] Ελιαβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ιδαερ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ελκανα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
[27] Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.
[13] υἱοὶ Σαμουηλ· ὁ πρωτότοκος Σανι καὶ Αβια. –
[28] The sons of Samuel; the first-born Sani, and Abia.
[14] υἱοὶ Μεραρι· Μοολι, Λοβενι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Σεμει υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Οζα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[29] The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;
[15] Σομεα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αγγια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ασαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
[30] Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.
[16] Καὶ οὗτοι οὓς κατέστησεν Δαυιδ ἐπὶ χεῖρας ᾀδόντων ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν τῇ καταπαύσει τῆς κιβωτοῦ,
[31] And these were the men whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
[17] καὶ ἦσαν λειτουργοῦντες ἐναντίον τῆς σκηνῆς οἴκου μαρτυρίου ἐν ὀργάνοις, ἕως οὗ ᾠκοδόμησεν Σαλωμων τὸν οἶκον κυρίου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ, καὶ ἔστησαν κατὰ τὴν κρίσιν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰς λειτουργίας αὐτῶν.
[32] And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness playing on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
[18] καὶ οὗτοι οἱ ἑστηκότες καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν τοῦ Κααθ· Αιμαν ὁ ψαλτῳδὸς υἱὸς Ιωηλ υἱοῦ Σαμουηλ
[33] And these were the men that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Æman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
[19] υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Ηδαδ υἱοῦ Ελιηλ υἱοῦ Θιε
[34] the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,
[20] υἱοῦ Σουφ υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Μεθ’ υἱοῦ Αμασιου
[35] the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,
[21] υἱοῦ Ελκανα υἱοῦ Ιωηλ υἱοῦ Αζαρια υἱοῦ Σαφανια
[36] the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,
[22] υἱοῦ Θααθ υἱοῦ Ασιρ υἱοῦ Αβιασαφ υἱοῦ Κορε
[37] the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,
[23] υἱοῦ Ισσααρ υἱοῦ Κααθ υἱοῦ Λευι υἱοῦ Ισραηλ. –
[38] the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
[24] καὶ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ Ασαφ ὁ ἑστηκὼς ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ· Ασαφ υἱὸς Βαραχια υἱοῦ Σαμαα
[39] And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,
[25] υἱοῦ Μιχαηλ υἱοῦ Μαασια υἱοῦ Μελχια
[40] the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,
[26] υἱοῦ Αθανι υἱοῦ Ζαραι υἱοῦ Αδια
[41] the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,
[27] υἱοῦ Αιθαν υἱοῦ Ζαμμα υἱοῦ Σεμει
[42] the son of Adai, the son of Ætham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,
[28] υἱοῦ Ηχα υἱοῦ Γεδσων υἱοῦ Λευι. –
[43] the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.
[29] καὶ υἱοὶ Μεραρι ἀδελφοῦ αὐτῶν ἐξ ἀριστερῶν· Αιθαν υἱὸς Κισαι υἱοῦ Αβδι υἱοῦ Μαλωχ
[44] And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Ætham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,
[30] υἱοῦ Ασεβι υἱοῦ Αμεσσια υἱοῦ Χελκιου
[45] the son of Asebi,
[31] υἱοῦ Αμασαι υἱοῦ Βανι υἱοῦ Σεμμηρ
[46] the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,
[32] υἱοῦ Μοολι υἱοῦ Μουσι υἱοῦ Μεραρι υἱοῦ Λευι.
[47] the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
[33] Καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν οἱ Λευῖται δεδομένοι εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας σκηνῆς οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ.
[48] And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, were the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
[34] καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ θυμιῶντες ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν θυμιαμάτων εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα, ὅσα ἐνετείλατο Μωϋσῆς παῖς τοῦ θεοῦ. –
[49] And Aaron and his sons were to burn incense on the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry in the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.
[35] καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ααρων· Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. Φινεες υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αβισου υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[50] And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,
[36] Βωκαι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Οζι υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Ζαραια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[51] Bokki his son, Ozi his son, Saraia his son,
[37] Μαριηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αμαρια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αχιτωβ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ,
[52] Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,
[38] Σαδωκ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, Αχιμαας υἱὸς αὐτοῦ.
[53] Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.
[39] Καὶ αὗται αἱ κατοικίαι αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις αὐτῶν ἐν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῶν· τοῖς υἱοῖς Ααρων τῇ πατριᾷ τοῦ Κααθι – ὅτι αὐτοῖς ἐγένετο ὁ κλῆρος –
