So, the thought of a few people with the help of Serums could easily match Her strength was a frightening one for Hana. However, she still had confidence in herself. "I can't fear anyone in this world… Except for one guy, no one here could match me so I don't need to worry, Only need to aim for strength." Hana looked as a helicopter slowly landed nearby.
"I might need to stop my hunt for a week or so, I need to get a tiny bit stronger, can't risk those serums getting the better of me." She seemed to have made up her mind on getting more powerful.
A few soldiers ran towards the hut and saluted Hana. "Ma'am, You may leave for your other work, We'll take care of the rest here!" A soldier roared when he saw Hana.
Hana nodded and spoke coldly, "Okay. The ones here are alive but knocked out, However, The ones underground through the hatch in the first room are… In pieces, so The BIO team will need to care for it. I'll be gone now." She said as she slowly walked towards a second helicopter that just landed nearly in a field.
The soldier looked at Hana in shock and looked at his buddies, "it seems like, after some time, The Cold Queen has shown her deadly side once again. If she means we'll need to call the Bio team, then the basement of this place will just be blood and guts… As expected of someone who is known as the most dangerous Awakened in the country." He was impressed and in fear. No one wanted to Mess with Hana if she was angry and no one knew how powerful she was.
"I remember hearing that she was close to losing a match with Sir Gold in a spar session. My brother was a guard in the arena so he could see it but what he told me was scary. She won but Gold seemed to be close to defeating her… after that, Hana disappeared for a small time and the next time they battled, Gold wasn't even a huge deal for her to fight against… At least in a close environment, Gold does have a slight disadvantage in fighting inside of buildings due to fear of breaking the building." The man explained.
The prior soldier nodded and spoke, "For someone like her, all we normal humans can do is nod and follow orders… Such a pretty face but such a scary person" He laughed.

Alex got up and woke his shirt and coat. He noticed Sir Fire staring at him while he put the guns under his coat. "Alex.." Sir Fire spoke.
"Is there a problem?" Alex answered.
Sir Fire shook his head and spoke, "No, I was just curious about those guns of yours… I didn't even notice them under the coat, they looked like they grew as soon as you picked them up and then shrunk a tiny bit once you tried to attach it to your coat… Now that you have your coat on, I can't even see any bumps that could be caused by the guns… It's almost like they're changing sizes according to your need."
Alex laughed awkwardly and answered, "Well, you could say it like that. These guns aren't made from my ability.. You could say that I found them… I don't know about it that much but you are correct, If I think of them shrinking, They do shrink a tiny bit and when I think of them growing a bit, they grow… However, it isn't like they become super small or super big. It's just my powers doing that work." He answered.
Sir Fire nodded, He seemed to be wanting to ask for a closer look but Alex gave a serious look towards Sir Fire which he understood clearly, 'This Kid… His body is weird and he has weird weapons… That technology could be very helpful to us but looking at him, I already know he is going to say no if I ask for them… Whatever, I can't ask for everyone's things like that anyways. I'll let my temptation go away this time."
Chapter 155: Intent to Battle | Hero System! Transported to Another World
Sir Fire smiled and spoke, "Well, If you ever want someone to look after it while you're doing something, I'm here haha. I'll get some researching on that while I'm at it." He grinned as he looked at Alex.
Alex laughed and nodded, "I'll do that if I ever need someone to hold it." He joked.
The scientist looked at Sir fire and changed the topic, "Everything seems fine… Just a few abnormalities but those could be associated with awakening their powers… The scanner did find something a bit strange… The cerebrum was empty…" He looked at Alex with a small sketchy look.
Alex and Nana both looked at The scientist in confusion, Sir Fire also seemed confused and spoke, "That makes no sense at all… How can his cerebrum be empty?" He was extremely confused.
The scientist looked at the floor, slightly embarrassed, and spoke, "well, I didn't mean it as in he doesn't have anything there… I meant our new research has been proven false for Alex… There is no 'God's Blood' In his body… Which means that he must have no powers or his abilities should be the least of least." The scientist looked at Alex in shock.
Sir Fire nodded and looked at Alex and smiled, "Well, As I've heard, He gave Master Zhun's powers a difficult time so I wouldn't be surprised by that. Plus, our research would be pretty much still in experimental form even now so we can't rely on that information too much. We'll take Alex's report as an abnormality and not put too much thought into it. We really haven't met an Awakened who has transformed as much as Alex has so far so he's already a special case…" Sir Fire paused and laughed.
"He is the guy who made Master Zhun think he died for him to only pop up a few months later, even more powerful than before and looking a lot more different." Sir Fire continued with a smile.
Alex nodded and smiled back, "haha, thank you for putting me in a special case… even I'm confused by half of the things that are happening to me." He scratched his head and looked around the room.
Nana looked at Alex and spoke, "Well, You're not the only case here, Hana is another one who is similar in terms of power… We don't even know how powerful she is just because as soon as someone gets even a tiny bit close to her power level, Hana just comes back the next week with even more power like she was always more powerful."
Sir Fire laughed when he heard Nana's words, "Nana, I would have punished you for releasing that information in this room however, It seems like Alex, being so close to Hana would have probably known that information by now or will know about it in the future… However, be more careful, your straightforward comments and questions sometimes provide a few problems in the workplace." He seemed to be slightly embarrassed about Nana.
"It isn't really hidden information but information that we'd like to keep among ourselves so I hope Alex you will keep that yourself… Well, If you get the chance, ask Hana… She doesn't seem to get angry at you so if you find out her secret, share it with this old fool here as well." He laughed while looking at Alex.
"Well, I don't really think she would answer something like that… And would it be dumb to reveal secrets to overwhelming powers?" Alex joked. Sir Fire nodded and stood up from his chair, "well, I wish we could continue to chat however, It seems like we've wasted a bit too much time here… Now is towards the part where we check your strength… Mr. A rank, You'll be going against my disciple here. As her punishment, I ask you to go all out. We can heal her properly without that big of a hassle and your healing powers are also here so why not go all out?" Sir Fire smiled.
Alex looked at Nana who seemed to be surprised at Sir Fire's words. She looked to the ground and pouted, "I.. I'm sorry." She apologized in a light tone.
Sir Fire looked at Nana and started to laugh, "Well, If you had a more combat supportive power, I would have let that be the case however, your powers aren't that good for battle so you're safe for now, young miss. I'll Have to Ask Buster to take care of fighting Alex."
He turned to Alex and continued, " I would love to join however, I have some more work to do and it seems like Buster is also interested in fighting you… But some other day. I hope we can have a proper Battle, Alex." Sir Fire looked excited.
Alex nodded and continued, "I've been wanting to test out my powers as well, and Having someone as powerful as Buster will mean that I can go all out and check how strong I really am. So I am thankful for this decision." Alex smiled.
Sir Fire nodded and sat back down on his chair. He turned to the computer screen and spoke, "Nana, Take Alex to the combat area…"
Nana nodded and walked out of the room, Alex followed closely. She turned to Alex while walking and spoke, "I apologize if I say anything weird … I have a tendency to do that… I haven't had that much experience in talking to people in situations like this so I'll just be very direct about the different things which tends to ruin the mood… Especially if It's something that I dislike…" She seemed shy to speak about it however, she spoke anyways.
Alex laughed when he heard Nana. She looked at Alex with an angry look for laughing however Alex quickly spoke, "I'm not laughing at you for all that. I'm just laughing at the fact that you're worried about it. Nana, I can't say much from experience, But I do like people who are more direct with me. Especially women, I never understand what's going on in their minds so knowing someone like you makes me happy. Don't worry about those who don't like it when you're direct… However, I do recommend not talking about secrets like you just did to me. If it's things like that, You will have to learn not to speak sometimes but if it comes to things that aren't to be kept quiet, I don't think I'll mind it at all… Just do be mindful, People dislike hearing the truth but that doesn't mean you need to change yourself. Just speak your mind when needed. There might be some that get angry or even sad. However, What you have right now is pretty useful. Everyone needs to know someone who is just like you just in case they need a reality check." Alex cheered her up with his words.
Nana looked at Alex and smiled, Her smile was cute and her bashful demeanor gave more to her smile. Alex laughed and continued to follow her.
Alex followed Nana inside of a large hall. It looked very similar to the training Facility that Alex was in earlier this morning. Once Alex entered the room, he could see Buster in an all black body suit. "You look like a ninja." Alex joked.
Buster looked at his body and gave a hearty laugh, "Well, I wanted to check something. Let's just being the battle as soon as possible, I can't wait!" He looked ready to fight at any second.
Nana looked at Buster and shook her head, "we need to set up a few things… I have my instructions so I need to follow them. Until then, you two cannot battle." She seemed serious. Buster nodded and smiled as Nana entered a small door at the side of the hall.
Buster Walked towards Alex and spoke, "So, How confident do you feel about today's match?" He was curious about Alex's reaction. 'Alex seems to have changed a tiny bit. I can't help but feel a small form of aggressiveness coming from him… or at least his eyes… It also shows in his way of talking to me. Alex just looks more confident about everything, He wouldn't have joked with me like that when we first met but now, It seems like he doesn't care.' Buster was curious about Alex's current state.
Alex nodded and spoke, "I don't know about a win but I won't fall down without getting a few hits." He smiled.
Buster laughed and nodded, "That's the spirit! Who knows, you might win… Unlike you freaks, I haven't powered up that much so I can't say If I can match your expectations." He looked at Alex curiously, 'I can see it in his eyes. Those red eyes of his show a huge hunger for battle… I don't even think Alex notices it but I can tell just by the way he talks about fighting that he wants to battle more than anything right now!'
Chapter 156: Buster and Alex | Hero System! Transported to Another World
Nana walked out of the room and indicated Alex to come over towards her. Alex nodded and asked, "What's up?" He was revved up to fight. Nana looked at Alex and spoke, "You need to put these around your arms and legs. And this one around your chest as well." She took out a few black bands that seemed to be filled with wires. "It'll just let us know about your body movement and also give us a proper read on your speed and movement. And more but that's too much into the tech and would be boring." Her attitude seemed to change when talking about technology.
Alex nodded and wore the necessary things and walked to Buster, 'She's a weird girl indeed… Anxious but straight forward… But that shyness goes away when she talks about tech.' He said to himself while looking at Buster. "Okay, now that you're ready. Take out your dagger, Let's fight!" Buster spoke as he has his fists up to his chest.
Alex laughed and pulled out his two pistols. Buster furrowed his eyebrows but he quickly shook his head, "Doesn't matter!" He roared as the time on the screen started to count down.
"3…2…1." The counter buzzed, initiating the combat. Alex jumped backward and shot a few rounds towards buster. Seeing Alex jump back had already given Buster an indication of what Alex was about to do so Buster smashed the ground and a stone wall rose up to block the shots. After the bullets were blocked, Buster shot the wall towards Alex at high speed. Seeing the wall just rush over to him, Alex jumped back however there was no more space. He had to rush towards Buster. 'Kid, Do as I say!' Hades's voice echoed in Alex's mind as a set of instructions came to Alex.
Alex nodded and followed through, He jumped forward, getting hit with the wall. After Buster realized that Alex was hit, he quickly took the wall down to see Alex however to his surprise, Alex wasn't hurt at all. He saw Alex's bleeding fists and knew what happened. "So, You've gotten physically stronger as well on top of getting taller and having new weapons." Buster smiled. It seemed like he no longer wanted to battle with abilities but more with physical prowess.
Alex hesitated, He knew how powerful Buster was and the scene of Buster wrecking the reapers on his own came back to Alex's mind. He took a deep breath and put his guns back down. Hades seemed to have seen this outcome coming and instructed Alex to go all out on the physical battle. It seemed like Hades had injected Alex with some memory of battles. 'It's like I'm watching someone else fight and learning from that!' Alex thought as images of countless close ranged combat moves played in his mind.
All of this was happening as Alex fought Buster. His eyes were glowing crimson red while his body seemed to have bloated a tiny bit. His muscles bulking slowly as time went on.
Bust saw Alex slightly transform and laughed, "It looks like you're no longer the slash and pray type of guy anymore, you've got some new moves up your sleeve. And you've transformed into a fighter as well. These moves that you've learned… some aren't even from this country. Some are just so weird that I can't even pinpoint where they might be from." He spoke as Alex continued to throw a barrage of attacks on Buster.
However, except for a few surprise attacks, Buster seemed to block or at least minimize damages on his body for most of what Alex threw at him. 'This kid is also a pretty good one. I'm surprised to even see that he can do this much… however, Those closer to the ground are better in their footing. Most of these attacks that I'm telling you to do works in dis-balancing the human body, essentially just striking them down and taking them into the ground however, His footing is much more powerful than the blows that you can put on him so you're just powerless against him in terms of attacks like that… I'd say that you've already lost in terms of power…' Hades seemed to be serious.
Alex nodded but continued to fight, he knew Hades was leading up to something. He felt a pull on his hands and watched as his body started to move on its own. He still had control over his body bow allowed Hades to manipulate his body. Alex kicked Buster's arm and jumped over his head. Once he did, Alex pulled out his gun and shot towards buster from the air. Buster looked shocked, He seemed to feel defeated for a few seconds. He looked into Alex's crimson eyes and smiled, "I did learn a few tricks of my own as well." He mumbled as a few rocks formed beneath him.
Before the bullet could even get close to buster, the rocks struck them, deflecting them enough to miss Buster. Alex was shocked by Buster's move. He didn't expect buster to have some move like that. Alex knew what was coming next. He looked at all the stones and shot towards them. His aim seemed to be extremely accurate however, that was only with the help of Hades. The bullets struck all the stones that were hurled towards Alex at top speed, stopping them from striking Alex while protecting buster from any bullets.
Alex landed on Buster's hands once again and jumped back. Buster looked at the ground and spoke with a smug smile, "What do you think of my little trick? Helpful, right?" He smiled.
Alex nodded and put his guns back in his holster. He could acknowledge that Buster was still more powerful than him. 'Hmm, Just give it time. Once your body rests, You'll be able to blow him away like nothing. But right now, you're weak compared to him. You've lost this battle sadly but next time you get to fight him, I can confidently say that we will win!'
Chapter 157: Instructions | Hero System! Transported to Another World
Alex smiled at Buster and nodded in defeat, "You're right, That is a pretty neat trick you have there… as fast as bullets and you have impeccable aim…" Alex knew that he lost this one. Even hades didn't need to explain anything to him. 'I've seen that I still have a lot more things to learn… Hades, How do I use you even better? And can you modify the weapons even more as I battle?' Alex asked.
Hades laughed and answered, 'That's the spirit. You don't even need to tell me, every second that I'm not speaking, I've been invested In adjusting the gun to suit you. It's my job to help you and increase the chances of helping you win. I set it up so that the bullets just don't need to be reloaded but now that I think about it, we do have a new trick. It just came to mind after seeing the rock throwing trick from Buster… We will have to try it the next time we get some free time and space.' He sounded a tiny bit excited.
Alex smiled slightly and nodded, 'I guess I'll also be waiting for that.' He was excited to see what Hades had instore for him. He knew it would be an amazing ability just form hearing Hades's excited voice.
