“Wait, before you go, you should know, I am going to read the letter,” I said in a rush, and both of their heads snapped my way.
“Why?” They both questioned.
“Well, a few reasons, I do want some answers, but I am tired of teasing y’all, the two of you are stronger than I gave you credit for, and I don’t want to play this game anymore.”
I got up from the table and walked over to the drawer in the kitchen that I had kept the letter in for the last two months. I didn’t look at either of the men as I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.
Maybe this letter will give me some answers.
Just maybe.
Taking a deep breath, I tore the wax seal off the back of the envelope and pulled out a single piece of paper.

The decision to leave you wasn’t one that your mother and I made easily, I truly hope that you can forgive us, we only wanted the best. The fact that you were conceived at all is a miracle all on its own. You came from a place of love, but also from a place of power. There will be people that don’t want you in their world. Find them all, don’t stop until you do, and don’t let anyone come between you. You have to have all Four or you won't have the power, it comes with the bond and you must complete the circle. Everything will reveal itself when the time is right.
Three of them will be easy to find but one has been in hiding for a very long time and even he has no idea who he is.
Ask Elijah for the truth, he will tell you what Lilith did. You must inform him that she wasn’t successful, he was hidden away. He is searching for you too, just use your dreams.
My lasts piece of advice to you: trust no one but your men with who you truly are. You will find out who I am eventually, hold it dear to your heart. I will see you soon.

I know that there is a reason they don’t talk about their mother, but what was it that my father would know that no one else would know? And how in the hell would my father know? Was he someone important to Lilith? If anything, this letter left me with more questions than I had before.
