“Bitch, I suggest that you leave. Right now. Before I do something that no one will be able to stop.” Thea said from the doorway—Elijah had a hand on her arm—I believe he was holding her back.
“Thea…” I started but Cassandra found her voice.
“I am not scared of you Thea. Jessica was kicking your ass before Ambrose and Zilli showed up and we all know it. You are the only one that seems to think that Jessica was scared. Even Ambrose says that you were lying, and he had to pull her off of you. That’s why no one saw you for the rest of that day and Jessica walked around showing that she wasn’t all beat up and bruised.” Cassandra took a few unstable steps in Thea’s direction. I thought about stopping her, but I don’t think that Asim would have let me.
“You’re damn right I wouldn’t. You won’t let me hurt her, but I don’t think that you are capable of stopping Thea,” Asim said, proving my point.
“Not that I care what you—or any of your friends think—but your girl Jessica is a lying witch. Not that I expect you to believe me.” I rolled my eyes, “That’s irrelevant. I made it clear that first day in the hallway that Asim and Zilli are mine. I have claimed them publicly and privately, I strongly suggest you get that through that fat head of yours.” Thea ripped her arm from Elijah’s hand and moved farther into the room.
“Don’t think for a second that you aren’t in trouble here too.” Thea projected my way.
“I come from one of the Four Elite bloodlines you uneducated imp! I can crush you under my little finger with the power my family has. What kind of power does your family have?” She paused for dramatic effect, “Oh. That’s right, your parents abandoned you on the doorstep of a human. No self-respecting Demon would do that. They must be garbage, or dead at this point. Poor you.” Cassandra snarked.
“The events of the last few minutes might have been some of your worst decisions, from kissing my boyfriend to insulting my parents. I don’t know who they are, but I’m sure they had a valid reason for hiding me away.” Thea said with so much confidence.
“Boyfriend? That seems like a little insignificant word for what we are.” Asim chimed in.
“You will come to realize that I don’t answer to anyone here and I will do what I want when I want. One day soon I will break whatever sex-induced spell you have on Asim and Zilli and he will be back at my side where he belongs.” When would she understand that we belong with Thea?
“HE BELONGS WITH ME!” Thea growled, it sounded so much like my own that I’m not all surprised at what happened next.
A red smoke engulfed Thea, she let out another growl that broke the windows in my classroom. Right before my eyes, Thea grew horns, her blue eyes turned black and the red smoke around her settled smoothly over her skin.
“My name is Rida, and I will be taking control over this situation.”
Chapter Eleven
Thea
“What—.” Cassandra started to say something, but a voice interrupted her.
“Listen here, you senseless, overstepping, don’t know what’s good for her, no respect having TRAMP.” The voice came from my mouth and it sounded like me. Sort of. It isn’t mine though. “I have been stuck in the background for years, YEARS! Trying to find any way out, and boy am I happy that I made it out now. You have about 2 seconds to get the hell out of this room before I start pulling your teeth out one by one.” Oh, please don’t do that. I tried to focus on projecting my thoughts.
“Thea. I know you can hear me, don’t freak out, we will talk about all of this in just a few moments, but it would appear that you have been harboring a Jinn all these years.” I heard Zilli’s voice in my head.
I have no idea what he was talking about, I think I would have known if I was sharing my body with a Jinn. Right? That’s something that I should have been able to feel. Isn’t it?
“Your time is up Cassandra, leave, or become my breakfast. Maybe Asim will even indulge himself.” I felt her wink in Zilli’s direction. The look on his face made me want to swoon, he had such admiration in his eyes, shock, even a little disbelief but he was amazed, and maybe even a little turned on.
“Please don’t eat her. Zilli says that people don’t go down well and honesty if I were going to try, I would rather it not be her.” I focused with everything that I have to project those thoughts, and I’m still not convinced that she heard me.
“I hear everything dear; you don’t need to yell. Plus, I don’t actually plan on eating her, I think she would taste like rotten fish.” I tried to hold my laugh back but couldn’t, a laugh slightly lower than my own and way raspier came out of my mouth.
“Rida, is it?” Cassandra asked as she straightened her clothes and brushed concrete dust off her backside. “If you have been in there the whole time then I’m sure that you heard who I am and who my family is. I know that the Jinn have a lot of respect and admiration for Lilith and Lucifer.” Zilli and Elijah both snorted so loud I thought they might be choking on something. “I would hate for them to find out that a brand-new little baby Jinn hurt one of her favored Elite Shifters. Wouldn’t you?” She had a smug look on her face that I didn’t like, I kind of wanted to burn it off
“Let me be abundantly clear. Anyone that protects you is a fool in my book, and that includes your precious Lilith. Zilli and Asim are ours, Elijah too for that matter, and I would suggest that you spread that around. I wouldn’t recommend anyone cross me or my girl here, she’s got fire in her blood and she isn’t afraid to use it.” I focused on my Fire when she said it. I wondered if I could call it to me even though the Jinn is in control, I was about to find out.
Calling the Element to me seemed as easy as breathing now. After the outburst with Jessica those weeks ago, Zilli had started practicing with me. I let the flames heat me from the inside, then I focused them on my hand, trying to go for a softball-sized ball of sun in my palm. That’s not what I got though. I watch the Fire travel through my veins into my palm, but when it came out it was a weird flickering red color but quickly heated to blue.
Elijah let out a huff, Zilli’s eyebrows went into his hairline, but Cassandra’s reaction was the best. She squeaked—as a mouse would—and stumbled back so fast that she tripped and hit the wall, again. I let the blue flames loose from the ball and watched as they danced around my fingers, weaving in and out of the digits of my hand. The way they licked my skin felt like little kisses from the flame. It felt nice as if the Element were taking the anger from my body and repurposing it.
“You can call the Element back now dear; she’s got the point. I think.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure,” I told her. “Asim gave her a run for her money a few weeks back and yet here she is.”
“She will at least think twice now, she has two Jinn to deal with, and you, my dear, are destined to be way stronger than you know.” With those final words, she gave me my body back and I turned to look at Elijah, he had so much love—and maybe a little lust—written on his face. It got me kind of hot and bothered as the heat pooled between my thighs.
“Well, that was something new.” He said with a smile.
“That’s one way to put it—scary is how I would put it.” I stepped to the side so that Cassandra could leave the room.
Zilli moved to shut the door behind her. Right as it clicked Elijah pulled me into his arms, crushing me to his chest as his mouth claimed mine in one of the most movie-worthy kisses I’ve ever had. His hands trailed down my back until he cupped my ass, pulling me closer to him still. As our hips met, I could feel his arousal pushing against me. This was the most sexual I have been with Elijah; he had been extremely patient with the fact that I was a virgin and how having more than one man on Earth is considered taboo. I am still trying to adjust to being a Demon and having more than one mate.
When he released my mouth, I was left panting and wanting more, which is exactly what I got. Elijah turned me around in his arms, maintaining contact to my back—his hand on my hips- before I knew what was happening Asim was kissing me. I could tell it was him by the warmth of his skin—his scent slightly more of a Fire smell than Zilli had—his hand on my throat was way rougher than Zilli ever was with me and man did I like it. The kiss itself was rougher as well, his tongue demanded entrance into my mouth. I parted my lips with a moan as another set of lips touched my shoulder. Elijah’s hands held me tighter as he pulled me against his chest.
Both of them touching me was heaven.
Wait. Both of them?
No way.
I can’t have both of them at the same time. There is no way.
Asim chuckled against my mouth, loosening his grip and stepping back slightly. “Don’t worry Malak, I don’t share well, the only other person that I would share you with would be Zilli. Even that’s not by choice.” His words made me hotter for some reason.
He stepped a little farther away and watched as Elijah turned me around again, his lips on mine in no time. Before I knew it, I was between him and the wall, my legs tightly around his waist.
I dug my fingernails into the back of his arm as he moved to my neck. Zilli stood about 4 feet away just watching us. A month ago, that might have bothered me but today I find it exceedingly hot. I let out a loud moan of his name as Elijah bit into the muscle above my collar bone. I felt him tense up as he pulled away, setting me on my feet.
“I’m sorry, that might have been a little much, but that was the first time that you ever verbalized that I was yours. Even without the mated bond you publicly claimed me, I can’t begin to explain what that means to me.” He shrugged and said, “I couldn’t stop myself there for a moment.” He was a little breathless.
“I mean, I thought it was obvious how I felt. I know we haven’t gone there sexually but it’s not because the feelings aren’t there. I promise I have thought about it. I’m just getting adjusted to this world and sex is new for me with anyone, let alone two men.” He knew all of this, but I felt he needed to hear me say it.
“I know, and you can take all the time that you need, while you are still coming into your powers Zilli is more than enough to keep you fed—the stronger you get though—and he might not be.” I had figured as much but no one had said it out loud. Not only did my mind, and my body, want both of them, but if my powers are too strong for one man won’t be enough to keep me healthy.
My Succubus feeding class had explained that sex is how I kept my energy up, and if I don’t feed often enough or use too much power without refilling myself then I would start to get sick. They didn’t elaborate on where that sickness would lead but it couldn’t be anywhere good. As of right now I don’t seem to have a whole lot of power, but I have already found two mates, so I am willing to bet that I will be coming into more power.
“It’s not that I’m avoiding it, I promise. I have thought about it. Many times. I just thought things would have calmed down by now.” I told him.
“I have a feeling things are never going to calm down for you baby girl,” Zilli said from where he stood behind Elijah.
“You’ve thought about it?” Elijah said with a smile. “That’s encouraging.”
“In great detail.” Zilli answered before I could. “detail that I wish I hadn’t had witnessed”
“Wait, what?” I questioned. Witnesses how? Was this a Jinn thing? Was I going to start invading people’s personal thoughts?
“I am a little embarrassed by this, but I like to watch your dreams when I can’t sleep, and one night I popped into a particular dream that I couldn’t find my way out of. It was almost like a part of you knew I was there and didn’t want me to leave.”
“Zilli, that is kind of sweet, but kind of an invasion of privacy. Plus, I thought you didn’t want to see me with anyone else, so you probably could have fought harder to get out of my head.” I told him.
“No, I never said I wouldn’t watch. I simply said I wouldn’t share you with anyone else. That doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t watch as someone else pleasured you.” The way that he said it was so innocent like it was nothing for a woman to have more than one partner.
“It is normal for our world dear; monogamy is the abnormal thing for Demons. We might have one regular partner but there is typically more than one hanging around.”
The extra voice in my head was something new, she felt oddly familiar. Like I have felt her presence before.
“I’m sure that you will get used to it one day Thea, but this is the world you live in now,” Elijah said.
The idea of being with Elijah like that had the space between my thighs heating up again. I wanted him right now. Right here. Maybe even on top of Zilli’s desk while he watched.
Whoa.
“That was all you Thea, not me. Just saying.” The voice chimed in.
The look on Zilli’s face told me that he heard all of it, and the way that his eyes flashed red told me Asim was close to the surface. These men are going to be the death of me, I swear.
“Well, I’m going to be going on my way—I will see you in Combat—I’m teaching today.” Elijah kissed me on the head and turned to leave.
Without warning I grabbed his arm and pulled him back to me, kissing him firmly on the mouth. His arms went around my waist and he pulled me off the ground. When he set me back on the ground, I was a little lightheaded, not meaning to I guess I fed off him.
Students started to make it into the classroom then, a few noticing the spots on the wall where Cassandra’s body left an imprint. I almost hoped someone would ask. I would love to tell them that she overstepped and got her ass handed to her by Asim and Zilli.
Chapter Twelve
Thea
Instead of listening to Zilli’s lecture I talked to, well myself, I guess.
“Rida, right?” I asked the voice in my head.
“Yes. I have been trying to make myself known for quite a while but there appears to be a block placed on you.” She spoke.
“A block? What doesn’t that even mean?”
“Well, it would appear that someone made sure that not only are you untraceable, but you have abilities that you don’t have access to. Like me, and possibly even some memories.” She didn’t sound bitter about it, but I felt like she was a little upset about being held down.
“Why would someone do that? And who would want to? I am just one person—why did someone go through all this trouble to hide me—and who are they hiding me from?”
“The same reason that they left you with the humans I’m sure.” She said.
“Which is?”
“I don’t know for certain, but it had to be that they didn’t want someone to know about you until you had access to at least some of your powers.” Rida had a point there, maybe whoever was trying to hide me wanted me to be able to defend myself if whoever they were hiding me from did end up finding me.
“I guess I should probably get my ass in gear then and figure these powers out.” I laughed to myself.
“You let me out by mating with the Jinn, so maybe that has something to do with it.” The way she sounded when she talked about Asim made it clear that she approved.
“But it's been weeks since I mated with Zilli, why are you just now coming out?”
“Trust me, I tried to come out before, but you were holding me down without even knowing it.” How could I have done that, I have witnessed Zilli struggle to keep Asim down.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I wouldn’t have done that if I had known.” I felt bad that she had to spend the last few weeks fighting for a way out.
“Zilli told me that after he turned 18 that he and Asim didn’t get along and Elijah had to lock him up so that they could come to some sort of agreement… is that going to happen with us?” I added in.
“I don’t think it will, I have no desire to fight you for control, and I think that we can discuss anything else as it comes. Don’t you?” I don’t like the idea of having to fight her for access to my own body, but it’s hers too.
“That would be great, and I don’t want to keep you down, to my understanding you have just as much right to this body as I do.”
I focused back on Zilli for a little bit, I don’t know what he was talking about but goodness he looked good up there. So many times, I’ve been in his class unable to take my eyes off him. His ass is one of my favorite parts, and his suit pants always fit him so perfectly, but staring at him is way more fun than listening to the lecture.
I want to be mad at the other girls swooning over this gorgeous man of mine, but I honestly can’t blame them. He was always dressed to perfection, if only they knew the wonders that his clothes hid. The way that his abs ripple when he laughs, or the way that his chest flexes when he reached forward, most importantly though, the suit hid his huge c---
He cleared his throat, cutting my thoughts off and making Rida chuckle loudly in my head.
“It would appear that you are arousing him with just your thoughts, Thea. If you aren’t careful the whole class will know exactly how well-endowed he is.” She said as she continued to chuckle.
“You already had fantasies about my desk baby girl, I can dismiss this class and make them a reality.”
And the heat was pooling between my thighs again.
Zilli chuckled a little and went about teaching his class, I never did tune back in though, I felt my mind slipping into a daydream.

Midnight is running free with me on his back, going no place in particular, but happy to be running with me. The wind was warm, and the stars were out, I find it kind of funny that even in my daydream I’m sticking to the nocturnal schedule. I heard the hoofbeats of another horse coming from behind me, as I turned to see what horse it was, I met the eyes of a beautiful stranger.
“There you are, I have been looking for you for weeks!” He said as the horses slowed to a walk.
“Well, I’ve been around, so I don’t know why you’ve had issues.” I laughed at my vague answer.
