Chapter Seventeen
Thea
Last night I got back into my room alone and went to bed alone, but that isn’t how I woke up. I found myself sandwiched between two very warm bodies. I don’t even remember when they came in, I must have slept really hard.
As much as I think I should get up, after all, it is hot laying here between Elijah and Zilli, I just can’t make myself move. “Mmm, not the first thing I would have picked to eat today. But that will do.” I wondered how crazy I could make these men before they break.

“I totally get that—” I don’t know what she was going to say next because Mr. Ash interrupted her.
“I’m sure that you two are having a very interesting conversation, but this is my classroom, and I would like everyone’s attention please,” he said as he held my eyes.

“Well, now you can be the one to test something new in front of the class today, Thea.”

“Okay, we know you are good with Water, and have no connection on Earth, so let’s go with Air.” He took a place by one of the open windows.
“Okay, what now?” I asked.
“How comfortable are you with it?” He questioned.
“Well, there was a slight mishap last time I went all out with it, that I would prefer not to happen here in front of a whole class.” I was as honest as I could be out loud.
“What happened?” Instead of answering right away I just motioned for him to walk closer to me. “What?”
“I was able to feed on Zilli and Asim without touching them,” I whispered as quietly as I could, just hoping that no one heard me.
Mr. Ash looked around with a shocked expression, but it appeared that no one else heard what I said. “Okay, I have so many questions that I will have to ask later, so let's be safe and keep it small and controlled. Catch this pin.” He said as he tossed an ink pin into the air about 3 feet from me.
Calling only enough Air to do what he asked I managed to catch the pin at about knee level.
“Good, now can you send it back to me?” I tried to push it his way gently but out of nowhere it spun and flew right at his eye. A few people in the class gasped, only one just sat there and didn’t even bother faking surprised.

“Take a breath. I believe you.” That was the last thing that Mr. Ash said before he dismissed the class.
I kind of floated through Angels and Circles of Hell. I’m still shaken up over the fact that Sasha tried to hurt a teacher and make it look like me. I decided to nap in Zilli’s classroom during lunch, I wasn’t hungry anyway.

Ignoring his question, I walked over to the door and shut it.
