Tangled Within the Darkness, page 6
“Alright, well, time to change my top and freshen up.” I say to myself.
I walk back into the room and grab my suit case. I was wearing a pencil skirt and I wanted to change into something more comfortable. Let’s be real though, I am not going to have enough time. I grabbed the olive colored top, that accentuates my cleavage and walk towards the bathroom. As I entered, I walk straight to the shower to turn the water on, setting the temperature to warm. I removed all my clothing and pinned my hair up so that I don’t get it wet. As the water hits my body, I think of the way Gerald fucks me. I put my hands in between my legs and start to stroke my clit. I moan as I pleasure myself. I steady myself up by putting one hand on the wall. Suddenly, I remember Alexis’s lips on my hand. Oh, how I wish her lips were on my pussy. Did I just think that? I shouldn’t be thinking of her as I stroke myself. “Oh god, this feels so good,” I whisper.
I continue to rub myself. Her smooth lips graze my knuckles. The way she touched my face to make sure I was alright. My fingers move faster and faster, mimicking a vibrator that tortures my clit every so often back home. I bite my bottom lip. Panting. I think of Alexis’s breast. The way she walks. I feel my wetness all over my fingers. The way her tongue cleaned up the drippling of alcohol from the side of her mouth. I grab and my squeeze my nipple. I want her nipples in my mouth. Holy shit, the orgasm is about to rip me apart. Up and down, faster and faster over my clit. I moan. The sensation is too much and there is an explosion of some sorts. My stomach hurts from scrunching up my abdomen. My breathing is out of whack. I moan louder and massage myself, riding out the pleasure I’m enduring. I have never done this, pleasure myself thinking of a woman. I can’t believe I just did that. That’s not normal? Or is it?
I take the liquid soap and wash my body. When I get to my vagina it’s still sensitive, I twitch when I touch myself. I let the water run down my body. I can’t believe I just did that. I get out of the shower and gather my clothes from on top of the sink.
“That can never happen again, Raven,” I say to myself in the mirror.
Chapter 15
Don’t Pretend We’re Together.
Raven
I decided to come downstairs earlier than our meeting time. I don’t trust myself in my room and I needed some male eye-candy. I am wearing my baby-shit-green bralette, paired with black high waist slim leg pants and black blazer. I wanted to look both sexy and elegant. I decided to leave my hair flowing down in soft waves. I send a text to both Mac and Alexis to let them know where I am.
“Ma’am what can I get you tonight?” says the sexy bartender behind the bar.
“I’ll take a mango martini, if you have that as an option.”
“For a beautiful woman like you, I do.”
“Thank you, love.” I blush.
I check my phone but there are no text messages from Alexis nor Mac.
I feel someone staring at me. I don’t want to look up. You know that feeling you get at the pit of your stomach when you are watching a movie and you know something bad is about to happen. Well, that’s how I feel. I have that nudging feeling that I am not going to like the person whose eyes are penetrating my back! I see the bartender coming my way.
“Here you go ma’am. Would you like me to start a tab or charge your bedroom?”
“Bedroom, love. Room 4101.”
“Oh’ I do apologize ma’am I didn’t know you were staying on that floor.”
“Why are you apologizing? I just got here not too long ago. It’s okay.” I wink at him.
Unfortunately, my body and mind succumbed to that dreadful pit in my stomach I was explaining about before and my head turns on its own merit towards the end of the freaking bar. I knew I wasn’t going to like the person staring back at me, fucking Marcos. I try to look away, but it’s no use, he’s already walking towards me. GREAT! I turned my body towards the bar and grabbed my drink for a quick swig, I knew I was going to need it.
“Hi, Rave.”
“Hi again Marcos.” I turn myself towards him with my delicious mango martini in hand.
“Where is your….” He lingers on the word.
“My brother is upstairs.”
“Right, your brother. So how have you been?”
“I have been great.”
“I have been doing good too.”
“Awesome.” Is all I can say. I take a sip of my drink. He needs to go! My eyes check out the tv monitor that’s showcasing the latest baseball stats.
“Can I take you out to dinner tomorrow?” he asks.
I almost choke on my drink. This guy is nuts. Did he forget what he did?
“Have you lost your mind? I can help you look for it.”
“I’m serious Raven, I want to talk to you.”
I’m about to respond but hands wrap themselves around my waist. I smell the perfume that is eluding from her. She kisses my neck. I completely freeze.
“Hey babe.” She speaks into my neck. Goosebumps are all over my body. I swivel around and find Mac smiling from ear to ear. I am glad he thinks this is funny. I look at Alexis.
“Hi Marcos, let me properly introduce myself.” She unwraps her hands from around my waist and sticks a hand out for a shake.
“I’m Alexis, Raven’s girl.”
He shakes her hand in disgust. It pisses me of a bit. We are living in a modern world. He needs to wake up and smell the fucking roses.
“Marcos, so what brings you to Florida?” asks Alexis.
“Business and pleasure.” He responds dryly.
“Well, Marcos it was nice to meet you.” She intertwines her hand in mine.
“Ready to go?” she asks.
“I have to tell the bartender that I’m leaving.”
“Mac can you tell the bartender Raven is leaving, please. We will be outside.”
“Claro que yes[49],” he says to Alexis.
I stand up from the barstool. I am feeling NICEEEEEE. Note to self – I cannot be mixing drinks.
“Are you okay?” Alexis asks me.
“Yes, I am.” I try to let go of her hand and she gives me the keep playing along look.
“I am okay, seriously.” I turn to Marcos. “Marcos it was nice catching up you. I’m not interest in going out to dinner with you. I’m doing great without you.”
Alexis looks at Marcos and shrugs her shoulder. She let’s go of my hand and I walk towards the exit. I don’t need a knight in shining armor to help me. I walk out the door and into the night. I need a break from everyone.
“Raven wait up. The car is on the other side.”
“I don’t need you to pretend that we are together. I can handle myself.” I turn around and say to her.
“Raven I was just trying to help out. Relax. I don’t want you. I told you I was gay because I felt like I needed to. Because of the business. You don’t have to be a bitch about it.”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Stop placing kissing on me like we are together. I am getting married in six months. Marcos and everyone else that knows me, know about my nuptials. I am marrying Gerald not you. The last thing I need is for people to start questioning me about my relationship with you. I worked hard and I have a reputation to uphold, I don’t need someone messing up my image.”
“Stop being such a girl. I was trying to help you out. You seemed like you needed it. I don’t have time to be arguing with you. You can deal with your feelings by your damn self. I have never done what I did today with any woman. Not even close. But I am more than sure that you liked the way I touched you. And I quote, “Like what you see? Go fuck yourself, the image that you have worked so hard for and your happily ever after.”
She turns and storms away from me and towards Mac whom I didn’t see standing a couple of feet away from us. Did he hear the conversation? Of course, he heard it. FUCK. He walks up to her and she puts her hand up. He stops and watches her walk inside the hotel. Fuck her and her sensitivity. Walking up to Mac. “Ready to go? She can sit this one out.” He nods but doesn’t say anything.
Chapter 16
Confused
Alexis
I don’t understand what the hell is wrong with me. Why I have the sudden need be this hero that I am not. I was sincerely just trying to help. I have never touched a woman with intent of sexual desire. I have never kissed another woman. I HAVE NEVER, until tonight touched another woman. I need to be away from her. I need time to myself. This isn’t who I am. I need to figure out what I want my life to be like. The constant battle of trying to fit into a world that judges me for the person that I CHOOSE will lay in my bed. The sliding doors close behind me, and my feet walk towards the bar. I need a fucking drink.
Placing my phone on the bar, I signal for the bartender’s attention. “May I have your house martini, please?” He nods, “Coming right up.”
My phone buzzes. I don’t want to look at it. I am not in the mood to talk to anyone. I just want to drink. I scope the bar area, there are a lot of good looking people down here. At the end of the bar there is beautiful brunette with a couple of other women around her. It looks like a bachelorette party. Maybe, I can join that crowd and get shit faced. We all know they are. The bartender places the drink in front of me, “open a tab or charge to your room.”
“Charge to room 4103.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
I take a long gulp of my drink and it seduces my body. This taste amazing. I need to eat or I am going to be completely intoxicated by the end of this drink. Mr. Bartender happens to walk by,
“Excuse me sweetheart, I need a menu, please.”
“No problem ma’am. Actually, I’m going to suggest we move you to a table if that’s okay. It will be easier to eat. This place gets really crowded and trust me eating with a million people all over you is going to be really uncomfortable. Would you be okay with that?”
“Sure, why not. Thank you. What’s your name?”
“Robert, but my friends call me Rob.”
“I’m Alexis. My friends call me Lexi.”
He smirks, “nice to meet you, Ms. Alexis. How about you finish that drink and you see that table at the other side of the bar. You can sit there, I will tend to you tonight. That is the VIP section.”
“Well, Rob you are making me feel like a celebrity.” His returning smile is infectious.
Finishing my drink, I walk towards the other side of the bar and there is a man wearing all black observing the crowd. Apparently, this side is only for the high maintenance people and tonight I am one of them. It’s weird how the world turns on an axis and you live a life that you never thought you would.
The rough-looking man looks me up and down and then past me to the bar. I turn and see Rob give him a thumbs-up. Rough looking man steps aside and points to the table that Rob indicated to me before. I sit down, and I’m startled by a waitress that comes up to the table with a new martini and a menu.
“I’ll be back in a few moments so that I may take your order, Ms. Alexis.”
“Uh, great. Thanks.”
Well, my name sure got around here fast. My eyes don’t immediately land on the menu but on the brunette, that is standing on this side of the bar. She looks at me and smiles but continues to have a conversation with her companions. I check out the menu and go straight to the steak section. I’m ridiculously famished and I need food now. I’m going to have steak and veggies. Yep, that pretty much sums up my version of a healthy meal. Satisfied with what I am ordering to eat, I look up from my menu to find the sexy brunette again looking my way. Our eye-fucking moment is disrupted by the waiter.
“Ma’am, what can I get for you?”
“I’ll take the seven-ounce steak, medium-well, with a side of vegetables,” I say.
“Not a problem. Would you like me to get you another cocktail?”
“Yes, please and a glass of water.” I ask the waitress whose nametag reads Veronica.
“Yes, ma’am,” she replies.
“Can you do me a favor Veronica?”
“Sure.”
“Can you tell Robert to get that group of women you see over there, a round of drinks on me?” I point to the group where the brunette is standing.
“Not a problem.”
I grab my drink and take a long sip. I check out my cellphone and it’s as dry as the desert. No one has texted me, emailed me. I got nothing. The vibration eluding from my phone earlier was a notification about the latest fashion trend. So, I decide to text Keilani to check-in and let her know that I am alive and well.
Sitting here by myself is boring. I don’t know how people do it. This is so depressing. I am feeling slightly warm, which are signs that the liquor is working its magic. I open the news application again, you never know when the world could be ending! It beats me looking at videos of soldiers surprising their families for the holidays. That’s an ugly sight to endure of me, a mixture of snot and tears. NOT COOL. I feel someone looking at me and I look up to catch brunette looking me way. She raises her glass and says thank you, with a wink.
A couple of minutes pass, Veronica brings me my dinner. Have you ever seen a classy woman devour her meal? Well, I might have been in a fancy setting but that didn’t stop me from tearing this steak the hell up. This shit tastes amazing. I tried to be sexy with it when I took my first bite because I saw my new favorite brunette looking my way. I even stabbed into the peace of broccoli I had on my plate and cut a small piece of it trying to look cute. But then my stomach growled at me like, “Bitch if you don’t stop this nonsense and feed me, I’m going to go cray-cray on your ass.”
So, before I received a savage beat down from my stomach, peer pressure gave in and I savagely devour my juicy steak. I looked toward the direction of my mysterious brunette, but she was gone. Now, I really had no shame on how I ate this piece of steak. As I was placing the last bit of steak in my mouth, I saw a figure in my peripheral. I turned towards the shadow and standing next to me was none other than sexy brunette. The juice from the steak decided at that instant to be an asshole and slide down the side of my mouth. She bent over, “I got that,” taking her tongue out and licking my chin from the bottom up to the corner of my mouth and then sucking up the juice from the steak that lingered in the crease where my upper and lower lip meet.
My heart rate accelerates. My eyes close for just a moment and the next thing I hear brings my racing heart to a stop.
“Alexis, I am glad you stayed here with entertainment.”
It was Raven. My eyes opened right away. This CAN NOT be happening right now. Mac was standing behind her with his hand in his pocket, expressionless. He maneuvers himself around Raven and sits in front of me. His hands stapled together on tip of the table. Now he’s smirking. Asshole.
“Hi, I’m Sarah,” sticking her hand out so that Raven can shake it. Raven just looks at her, doesn’t even flinch to shake her hand. Sarah turns to me, takes her thumb to clean the edge of my mouth, I turn and look up at her. “Thank you for my drink, Alexis. Here is my number, call me. It looks as if I am not welcomed at this moment.” She slides her card in front of me. Grabs my face ever-so-slightly and plants a soft kiss on my lips. It’s an instant pussy moister. I squeeze my thighs together. “Call me later.” She walks away, and I’m left there shell shocked.
Chapter 17
My First Time
Raven
I just witnessed Alexis being kissed by another woman. My anger has resurfaced itself. I need to stay calm. I will not get pissed off. I will not get angry. I will stay calm and breathe normally. I’m getting married in six months. Anything that Alexis does will not interfere with my wedding nor should it bother me.
“So, I meet you, hire you and all of the sudden all the beautiful women I encounter with you are lesbians? I mean, are there any left for me?” says Mac.
“Mac shut-up, don’t forget about the girl on the plane, she was hot,” replies Alexis.
“I bet you wanted to fuck her too.” That was my response. That was me not being angry. That was me not being jealous. THAT WAS ME STAYING CALM. Mac looked startled by my outburst. The waiter comes up to the table at that same moment with the drinks we had ordered at the bar before Mac saw Alexis sitting in the VIP with that bitch (I am not jealous). Who happened to be licking Alexis face when we arrived at the table.
“No, I didn’t want to fuck her. I’ll leave one for Mac.” says Alexis.
“Whatever.” I grab the double shot that the waitress places on the table and take it without a twitch. I slam the shot glass down and turn around. I need space from her and from me.
“What the fuck. I didn’t even do anything.” I hear her say.
“Just let her be. She is throwing a temper-tantrum. She needs a break.” Mac replies to Alexis. I head toward the entrance of the stupid restaurant. I just want to get to my room. Tomorrow is a big day and I need to be mentally ready for it. No distractions.
When I arrive at my door, I glance down at the door next to mine. My heart skips a beat. I am acting like such a baby. The ringer from my phone distracts me from my thoughts. I reach for the key card so that I can enter my room and grab my phone at the same time.
I press the button to answer the call while opening my door.
“Hello.”
“Hey love. How’s it going? How was your meeting?”
“It was good.” I don’t feel like talking to him right now. I just want to shower, lay in bed and watch a movie until I fall asleep.
“You sound upset.”
“I’m just tired. It was a long day in New York and flying is not my favorite thing to do. In addition to going out tonight for this meeting. I’m pooped.”
“I bet you are. Alright, I’ll catch up with you tomorrow.” I begin to undress myself. I really want that shower. I walk towards the fridge and I take out the wine bottle that I had ordered to the room. I uncork it and pour myself a large glass. I put the phone in the crevasse between my cheek and neck so that I can carry the bottle and the wine glass into the bathroom. My plan is to finish it by the time I get out the shower.
