Professor Thompson frowned. “Get back to work Miss Myers!”

Imogen smirked and bit her pen before resuming her writing.

  *****

Imogen sat on the wall kicking gravel from the wall in front of her. Taking her phone out of her pocket she tried Caitlin’s number again. When it went to voicemail, Imogen ended the call.

Imogen gave the wall an angry kick, this was all she needed. What was she supposed to do now?

“What has that wall ever done to you?” A voice came from behind her.

  “Nothing!” Imogen spat out.

“Well don’t kick the wall.” Professor Thompson says.

“It is an inanimate object,” Imogen says and she gave the wall another angry kick.

“I know, but you are making a mess.”

Imogen groaned, picked up the loose rock and placed it back on the wall. “There, since you love this wall so much.”

Sitting on the wall next to Imogen, Professor Thompson placed his briefcase on the ground between his feet. “What is wrong, Miss Myers?”

Imogen turned to glare at Professor Thompson. “What do you care?”

“I don’t care. I want to know why you are still on the university grounds?” Professor Thompson says in a firm tone.

Imogen laughed sarcastically. “Wow, you really are a jerk. No wonder nobody likes you.”

“I am not here for people to like me; I am here to work.” Professor Thompson replied. “So, why you are still here?” He didn’t care if people liked him or not. He didn’t have many friends, and he liked it that way. He was more of a loner; it was the reason he fucked women he didn’t know, that way he can’t get close to them.

“I have no way to get home,” Imogen says looking down at her feet in embarrassment.

“Don’t you have money for the bus or a taxi?” Professor Thompson asked.

“If I had the money I wouldn’t be sitting here,” Imogen replied with an annoyed tone.

“How do you usually get to and from university?” Professor Thompson questions.

“Caitlin gives me a lift,” Imogen answered. She was still annoyed that her friend had ditched her and not told her why.

“Caitlin might be late.” Professor Thompson says.

“No, she isn’t, she's gone.” Imogen sighed.

“Right come on, get up.” Professor Thompson says standing.

  “Why?” Imogen frowned.

“I will drive you home.” Professor Thompson says walking to his car.

“What?” Imogen says with a surprised look on her face.

“Are you coming or what Miss Myers?” Professor Thompson says impatiently opening his car door.

Imogen strode along in the direction of Professor Thompson’s car a Bentley, the colour of forest green. climbing in the passenger seat, she slides her hand across the leather interior. “Nice, I like it.”

“Where do you live?” Professor Thompson says turning on the engine, and placing the gearstick into drive.

“Uphill drive. You can drop me off at the bottom of the street.” Imogen says smoothing her hands over the leather seat.

  “Very well.”

It felt so strange to Imogen driving in her Professor's car, but she liked it. The car smelt nice, like leather and pine. Imogen sank her head back into the headrest.

“This is such a gorgeous car.” Imogen complimented.

“What are your reasons for not driving?” Professor Thompson asked keeping his eyes on the road.

“The usual shit you know; I can’t afford it,” Imogen says glancing over at her Professor. His profile was hot, the way his eyes creased at the sides when he was concentrating on driving. The way he bit his lip whenever he turned a corner. Driving shouldn’t be this hot, but Professor Thompson sure as hell made it look that way.

Professor Thompson stopped the car. “I expect your attitude to be better tomorrow.” He forewarned.

“I will be on my best behaviour for you, Professor.” Imogen winked.

“Somehow I find that hard to believe.” Professor Thompson says with disbelief.

Imogen giggled. “You know me too well, Professor. Tell me, something Professor, why don’t you have anyone waiting for you at home?” She asked, even though she had no right to.

“Because I don’t. Now stop trying to pry into my personal life!” He says with a cold tone.

Imogen leans over, her breasts brushing along the side of Professor Thompson’s chest. placing a hand on the headrest to whisper in his ear. “Thanks for the ride, Grey.” Then she turned back to the door, opened it and steps out.

Grey slammed his head against the headrest before driving off.

  *****

Imogen was about to close the door to her flat when a voice sounded behind her.

“Hi, I don’t believe we have met.” The man said.

Imogen smiled. “No, I guess we haven’t.” Imogen extended her arm offering the man her hand. “I am Imogen.”

The man shook Imogen’s hand. “Parker, it is nice to meet you.”

“Likewise,” Imogen says flashing the man a grin. “Have you lived here long?”

“No, I only moved in last week,” Parker replied.

“You should come over to mine sometime for drinks,” Imogen suggested. Parker was nice looking: blonde hair, blue eyes, tall. Maybe if she did fuck him, she would forget about you-know-who. For a little while at least.

“Yeah, I’d like that,” Parker said flashing Imogen a smile.

  *****

The pretty brunette bent on the toilet stall floor; she took Grey’s cock into her mouth. Grey pushed his hips forward, no sound escaping his lips. It wasn’t for pleasure really; it was just a release. Somewhere to keep his cock warm, and this woman was a willing participant.

The woman moaned around Grey’s cock getting the feel of it in her mouth. Grey slammed his cock against her throat, emptying his balls.

The woman stood, her arms snaking around Grey’s neck and her lips were about to come into contact with his.

“No kissing!” Grey said his tone cold.

The woman took a step back, smiling. “Fair enough. See you later.” Then the woman was gone.

Grey zipped himself back up and went to the bar.

“Professor Thompson!” Imogen says from behind the bar.

Professor Thompson gave a loud groan. “It seems there is no way of getting away from you!”

“This is where I work,” Imogen said wiping the wine glasses and placing them behind the bar.

  “Terrific!” He coldly replies.

“Shouldn’t you be at home, marking work or something?” Imogen says.

“Shouldn't you be finishing off the assignment I set?” Professor Thompson fired back.

“I have already done it,” Imogen said with a sly grin. She liked it when she got one over on him.

“I hope so Miss Myers, or I will put in more work for you.” He told Imogen in an unapologetic tone.

“I have. Now, are you going to order, or complain at me all night?” Imogen says placing the cloth over her shoulder.

“Give me a shot of rum.” He said pointing to the rum that stood on the shelf.

“Any ice with that?” Imogen asked.

“No, give me it neat.” Professor Thompson replied.

Imogen poured the shot and bent over the bar to pass Professor Thompson his rum. “There you go, Grey.”

Professor Thompson downed the shot in one go, before slamming it on the bar.

  Imogen frowned. “Want another?”

“No, I am fine.” Professor Thompson said. “What time do you leave work?”

Imogen gave her Professor a devilish grin. “Why, you planning on taking me home, Professor?”

  “No!” He scowled.

“I finish earlier at 12,” Imogen says wiping down the bar.

“How do you plan to get home?” Professor Thompson asks with a questionable look.

“Keep speaking like this Professor, and I will begin to think you care,” Imogen says leaning over the bar to touch Professor Thompson’s hand.

Professor Thompson jerked his hand away. “Answer the question!”

“A taxi. I get a taxi back.” Imogen replied.

Professor Thompson nodded. “Okay Miss Myers. I will see you tomorrow.” Professor Thompson says before walking away.

“Why do you call me Miss Myers?” Imogen asked wanting to know the answer.

Professor Thompson turned his attention back to Imogen. “Because I know how much it irritates you.” He said honestly.

“Yeah, I was completely right, you are a jerk,” Imogen says.

“I am leaving now, Miss Myers.” Professor Thompson said.

“I like it when you leave, Grey,” Imogen says with a wink.

Professor Thompson shook his head and walked out the door.

  ******

“I can’t believe you ditched me!” Imogen said walking down the corridor with Caitlin.

“I am so sorry there was a family emergency,” Caitlin said walking at a fast pace.

“Slow down, what is the rush?” Imogen asked.

“We will be late to class if we don’t hurry,” Caitlin says pulling her backpack onto her shoulder.

“Well, let’s walk quick then,” Imogen said. “What was the family emergency?”

“My mother is back in town. She wants to get back together with my father.” Caitlin said and her voice sounded loathsome.

“That doesn’t sound too good,” Imogen says walking into Professor Thompson’s class.

“I know, just when things were getting back on track with my father,” Caitlin says sitting in her seat.

“Right, open your books to page 47.” Professor Thompson said facing his class.

  ****

Professor Thompson juggled his briefcase and assignments while he answered his phone. “Hello?” He answered and the assignments fell out of his hand, and onto the floor.

Imogen took a step toward Professor Thompson, and bend to help pick up the assignments.

“No, I never said that. I do not care how much you are offering; I am still not selling!” Professor Thompson said in an icy tone.

Imogen passed her Professor the assignments. Professor Thompson tried to remove his office keys from his trouser pocket, but the task was too difficult with all the stuff he held.

Imogen looked to check if nobody was looking, and when she knew there wasn’t, she took another step closer to Professor Thompson. Imogen slipped her hand into his tight trouser pocket, slow and deliberate, feeling the muscles of his thighs. Imogen removed the keys and unlocked the office door. Professor Thompson gave Imogen an agitated look and walked into his office.

“Do not call me again!” He said ending the call.

“Everything okay?” Imogen asked closing the office door behind her.

Professor Thompson completely avoided Imogen’s question. “Do not do that again, ever!” He scolded.

“You needed your keys, I got them.” Imogen grinned.

“I was about to place my things down; I would have managed!” Professor Thompson said clearly angry. “I don’t know what game you’re playing Miss Myers, but it stops now!” Professor Thompson says warning Imogen.

“I am not playing a game,” Imogen says. She wasn’t, not really. She liked him. Her attraction was growing more, she couldn’t stop it.

“Oh, cut the crap, we both know the reason you are doing this!” Professor Thompson said in a frustrated tone.

“And what does that mean, Professor?” Imogen asked curiously.

“You want me to have sex with you, so I give you a passing grade.” He accused.

Imogen laughed in surprise. “Oh my god, you can’t be serious?”

“Why else would you be trying to flirt every chance you get?” Professor Thompson said with a frown.

“The same reasons I flirt with any man because you’re fucking hot!” Imogen answered. No, beautiful she thought.

“Leave Miss Myers this thing will never go anywhere.” Professor Thompson said waving his hand out.

“I did actually need you for something,” Imogen says sitting on the chair in front of the office desk.

“What is it?” Professor Thompson said in a tiresome tone.

  “Can you drive me home?”

  Chapter 7

  Thank you!

Professor Thompson gave Imogen a look of agitation and frustration. “Doesn’t Caitlin, drive you home?”

“Yes, but she has things going on with her family right now.” Imogen answers.

“And you never thought to save money over for the bus or a taxi?” He says with a deep frown.

“I used the last of my money to get the bus here,” Imogen replied.

Professor Thompson slammed the assignments he held in his hands on his desk. “So, you were expecting me to give you a lift back home?” He said with an irked tone.

Imogen pulled her cardigan up onto her shoulders. “No, I was expecting Caitlin to take me home and she can’t.” She hated whenever he assumed things. Ever since her grades slipped, they always had this constant back and forth.

Professor Thompson sat at his desk and opened one of the assignments. “I cannot, I have assignments to mark.”

“Can’t you mark them at home, you know in your lair?” Imogen smirked. She’d push his buttons more.

Professor Thompson looked at Imogen with an exasperated look. “Stop being ridiculous.”

“Don’t you have a sense of humour, Professor?” Imogen says with a smirk and she crossed her arms over her chest.

“No, now go away I have work to mark.” Professor Thompson said with a dismissive tone.

Imogen turned around and made sure her Professor didn’t see how disappointed she looked. Now she would have to walk the one-hour walk home, which she really didn’t want to. Times like these were when she wished she had a car or at least money.

It seemed these days she never saw much money for herself, it all went on bills or university. She hated her dad, hated him for his affairs and hated him for putting her in this situation. The reason he started paying her tuition, is because he wanted to make up for his affairs. Not that it did, but Imogen took the offer. When a letter came through that she had to start paying her tuition fees; she rang his work phone screaming at him. After that, she lost contact with him. He didn’t care about anyone but himself.

Right now, she hated Professor Thompson more than anything. What was she really expecting though? The man had a reputation for being completely cold, and he never harboured his feelings in any way, letting his students know exactly what he thought of them. Often being harsh and critical. Imogen often wondered how he hadn’t lost his job yet.

Imogen placed her hand on the doorknob, about to turn it until Professor Thompson stopped her.

“Miss Myers, wait.” Professor Thompson said still sitting at his desk.

Imogen turns back to face Professor Thompson. “What is it? I have an hour's walk home.”

“I will drive you back home.” Professor Thompson said looking down at one of the assignments. He shouldn’t care, but he wasn’t going to let her walk all that way back home.

Imogen ran to Professor Thompson's desk and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Thank you so much!”

Professor Thompson’s body tensed up and he removed Imogen’s hands. “You are incredibly irritating!”

“I will give you that since you are giving me a lift back home,” Imogen said sitting on the chair next to Professor Thompson.

“You need to wait until I am finished here.” Professor Thompson looked at Imogen with a scowl. “Can you not sit over on the other side of my desk?”

“No, I like it here,” Imogen said sitting back in the chair.

Professor Thompson shook his head in annoyance and carried on with marking his work.

After ten minutes Imogen had scooted the chair closer to Professor Thompson; looking over his shoulder she said. “You’re really harsh.”

“It is not harsh; it is the truth.” Professor Thompson said looking up.

“You can say the truth without being a complete dickhead about it,” Imogen said in a critical tone.

“The last time you called me that you got into trouble. I would watch your mouth, Miss Myers.” He warns.

“You just don’t like the truth,” Imogen replied.

Professor Thompson ignored Imogen, instead choosing to carry on with his marking.

Imogen took a packet of mints out of her jean pocket and popped one into her mouth.

“Can you not do something useful?” Professor Thompson says with a scowl.

“Like what?” Imogen said sucking on the mint.

“I don’t know, just find something.” Professor Thompson says in an impatient voice.

Imogen stood from the chair and this time she moved to Professor Thompson’s left-hand side. He smelt so good, though she could not place the scent yet.

“What are you doing?” Professor Thompson said looking up from his desk.

  “Doing something,” Imogen spoke sardonically.

“What are you supposed to be doing Miss Myers, apart from getting closer to me?” Professor Thompson questions.

“Watching you mark assignments,” Imogen said with a small smirk.

“I meant something more productive.” He sighed.

“This is productive.” She says popping another mint into her mouth.

“Right,” he scowled and carried on with what he was doing.

“Are you out tonight?” Imogen asked after ten minutes.

“I don’t know yet.” Professor Thompson said not looking up from his desk.

“I am not working tonight, if you want to come for a drink?” Imogen offered.

Professor Thompson looks up from his desk, giving Imogen a questionable look. “I thought you had no money?”

“I don’t, but I get free drinks where I work,” Imogen says.

“It isn’t a good idea.” He speaks.

  “Why not?” Imogen frowns.

“What if someone sees us?” Professor Thompson said.
