Thank you for sticking with Michael and Angela in Compromised. I had to line the book up from start to finish with Inferno as their characters cross over ALOT.
While no actual patients were injured in the writing of this story, many of them were found during my research through case reports and medical articles. I owe a huge thank you to the many OB-GYNs who had input into the perimortem C-section. (Please don’t try it a home!)
Portions of Tiffany Wickwire’s diagnosis were real as was the story of the late in life medical student told by Dr. Feldsher to Michael. One of my classmates did quit his job in NYC over 9/11 and watched our medical student drama with good humor.
If you are still reading, I absolutely promise Inferno, will be worth reading the firefighter half of the story. Noah and Erin are pretty damn hot, and you’ll witness another wedding, find out more about the Carvers, see the full devastation of the arsonist, and join Michael and Erin for their visit to Panera before his world crumbles.
