“Gorgeous,” he grunted, laying one more kiss on her ass, and tracing his left hand up to her shoulder. Sadly for her, David didn’t stimulate her clit any further. Sliding his middle finger up, he parted her pussy lips, as he kissed his way up her back. By then, Olivia was flexing the muscles in her gluts, eagerly anticipating the taste of her temptation. She wouldn’t rush anything; she wouldn’t even move. Why should she? Surrendering to him was so much easier. She could tell he had quite a few ideas about pleasuring her, and she wouldn’t ruin any of them by taking the initiative. Feeling his fingers around her entrance, she rolled onto her side, her heart thumping against her chest. Despite how amazing this felt, though, she wanted more intimacy. She would gladly allow him to worship every inch of her body, but first, she desired a kiss.
“Kiss me. Now,” Olivia said, her voice dripping with lust, as she beckoned him closer with her finger. He tilted his head down, and the sexy smile that spread upon his face added to her arousal. David’s hand traveled slightly up, as their lips joined in a hot, fervent kiss. She thrust her arm around his shoulders, pulling him towards her, as he grabbed and held onto her ass. Curling his own arm around her upper back, he took her in his embrace, as she let a mix of his scent and almond oil flow within her. Olivia didn’t know if his exceptional skills had turned her on so much, or if it was the fact that he was forbidden to her, or if it happened to be the music that was still ringing in her ears. Perhaps it was all of the above. In any case, she would not stop. She had tasted the sweet forbidden fruit - sweeter than the best honey she had ever put in her mouth - and felt it sweeping her off her feet with passion. Running his hand up her back, he held her nearer. His move puzzled her for a moment. But, what he did next explained everything to her. Flexing his arm muscles around her, David picked her up. Olivia raised her hands up to his face, as he turned to the left. She curled her legs around his waist, while his hurried footsteps led them to the wall behind her. Her body hit the cold surface with a thump; his lips crushed onto hers, desperately seeking another kiss. A muffled moan left her, and she felt his hardness through his pants.
“Oh, yeah,” Olivia whimpered, the tip of his tongue teasing her upper lip, as he reached down. The sound of his zipper going down intensified her desire, and she raked her fingers down his cheeks. She wasn’t thinking anymore. The sensuality in the air had destroyed any notion of resistance. She didn’t care about the consequences of her actions. Her only focus was to revel in the sin, the sin that had pampered her, and made her feel special. Olivia tilted her head back, as the length of David’s cock rubbed against her belly. The precum, which had been flowing freely down his shaft, soaked her skin, sending shivers of lust down her spine. He kissed his way down her neck. Her deep, lustful moan filled the room; he rubbed his cock up and down her, once more stimulating her clit. Tipping her head down, she partially opened her eyes, letting go of his face. Olivia reached both of her arms down, and pulled his shirt all the way up to his shoulders, feeling his hot breath on her skin. The ripped muscles on his back were flexing rhythmically: she grazed his neck; she held the shirt up; she let her other arm roam his back. When she felt his swollen cockhead at her entrance, she couldn’t maintain her caress for long. Olivia released the fabric, and thrust her arm around his shoulders, as David’s cock parted the wet folds of her womanhood.
“Awwwww, baby…” she moaned, resting her head on his shoulder, as he put his hands on either hip. “This is so wrong.”
“It feels so right,” He grunted, sliding his palm down her body, as his length stretched her pussy. “You’re mine.”
Never before had two, short words appealed to her, as much as those. They were true. He had been dominating her, much before she encouraged him to touch her. Ever since she’d walked into that massage parlor, Olivia had forfeited self-control, and she had done so with her own free will. By then, she was nothing more than a toy in his hands. He could play with her as he pleased, as long as she was in his arms, feeling him deep inside her. David squeezed her outer thigh, bucking into her, trailing long, passionate kisses across her neck. Olivia tossed her head back, squeezing her eyes shut, as she sensed her orgasm drawing nearer and nearer by the second. The speed of her impending climax came as no surprise to her. He had done everything to send her to ecstasy: kneading every inch of her body, patiently stroking her legs, kissing her, licking her… Each thrust was a wave of delight, crushing around her, pulling her into a sea of sensuality. His every kiss was a small drop of molten lust: sizzling and burning her; driving her senses into overdrive. Driving his big, stiff cock in and out of her, David traced his palm up her leg and her stomach, while she leaned back. Olivia simply caught a glimpse of his shadowed eyes, just before she closed hers. His fiery kiss stifled her moans, as his fingertips brushed the underside of her breast. She felt the muscles on his butt flexing, as she pressed the heels of her feet onto him.
“Don’t stop,” She hissed, tiny drops of sweat rolling down his forehead, as he cupped her breast. David grabbed and squeezed her flesh, trapping her lower lip between his teeth, as he hit her clit, over and over again. Olivia splayed her fingers over his shoulder blade, and held onto him, crying out in ecstasy, as the fire of her orgasm raced through her entire body, leaving her writhing against him. David tilted his head back, his groans audible over hers, as he pulled out. His hot juices shot up her stomach, as he reached his own climax. Expecting that he would put her down on the floor, she stared at him, as she breathed in gasps. Still, he would do no such thing. Instead, David held her up against the wall, his chest heaving, as he opened his eyes.
“Oh, man,” he panted, a big smile bursting upon his lips, as he reached up to push a few strands of her hair back from her face. “You were incredible. You’re so beautiful…” he whispered, gazing deep into her eyes. “When will I see you again?”
Olivia bent her head down, exhaling hard, as the question she had been dreading hit her like a battering ram to the brain. She couldn’t give him an answer: not then; not ever. They had made a huge mistake, one that could cost them their lives. Meeting with him in his workplace or anywhere could spell disaster. Plain and simple, they could not be together. Silence lingered for a few seconds. Staring down at her feet, she wished she had never accepted this invitation. David eased her down onto the floor, as he tipped her chin up. The kindness in his eyes was gone. His smile had evaporated. Instead, only a cold, hard expression that could burn through lead remained.
“Should I bother asking why we did this?” he wondered. “Why you gave yourself to me like that?”
Once again, Olivia could not offer him a response. There were a million things she meant to say to him, but most of them would only fuel his anger. She could come up with excuses, such as his exceptional skill, the atmosphere he had created for her, as well as his sensual touch, but saying any of that would only aggravate him. It was better to leave him hanging than to give him an explanation that would frustrate him even further.
David let out a gasp of exasperation, as he turned around. She finally found the strength to gaze up at him, as he strode away from her. For a few seconds, she looked at the backside of the man who had given her the time of her life, knowing in her heart that she could not touch him again: ever.
Chapter Nine
Drowning in guilt and sorrow, the young wolf returned to her birthplace. Olivia could still not wrap her head around what she had done. She had not just enjoyed a good, relaxing massage. She had had sex with a bear shifter. Worse than that, she had instigated everything. He had been professional, up until she actually gave him the green light. More than ever, she needed a friend; someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, and perhaps advice on how she could handle the situation.
Alas, she didn’t have anyone who could comfort her; at least, that’s what she thought. She could do without the tons of sarcasm and mockery that would definitely come from Ava. This time, she would outdo herself in both of those departments. To make matters worse, as soon as Ava was done teasing her, she would reprimand her for being so reckless. Olivia’s regret was enough punishment for her. She had no need for any accusations whatsoever.
For hours, she remained locked in her cabin unwilling to see anybody. In her sadness, she could only find comfort in the fact that her mistake had felt more like a dream. This was the only way she could describe the time she spent in David’s arms. It was as if she had fled this world, and jumped right into a simpler, more beautiful reality. A reality filled with a mix of almond oil, David’s scent, his sculpted body, and his massive embrace. She had lost herself in those arms. They had encircled her with all the tenderness and passion she had been searching for in a man her whole adult life. Unfortunately, she couldn’t have him; yet, she could have the memory they had created together. It wasn’t much, but it was better than having nothing at all.
The desire to share her issue grew stronger within her, as the night grew later around her. Still, Olivia could not think of anyone who could provide a helping hand. Helena’s face popped into her mind, but telling the witch about her encounter with David would only bring about her wrath. She loved that the witch of Paxton held her in such a high regard. Disclosing the events of the afternoon would ruin their relationship. For now, Olivia could only rely on the moon and the stars for some company.
However, just when Olivia strolled out into her backyard, she discovered that she could not turn her attention to the sky above her. Once more, a pair of eyes was hiding in the woods beyond her fence. All the same, their color was different. The deep, red shade only belonged to one person she knew: Helena.
“Oh, no,” a sigh of despair left Olivia’s mouth, as dry leaves gave way beneath the witch’s boots. The thought of rushing back inside flashed through her mind. Unfortunately though, it would not avail her. Helena could go wherever she wanted; all she had to do was visualize her destination. Fleeing was not an option. Dressed in her usual black cloak, the witch stepped into the moonlight as she left the last balsam fir tree behind her. Before reaching the fence, she vanished into thin air. A split second later, she was in Olivia’s yard, sauntering towards her.
“Good evening, my dear,” her feathery voice broke the silence, as she flashed Olivia a warm look. “Romantic souls tend to get a little desperate, after doing what you did today,” Helena’s sentence should have surprised her. After all, she had kept this secret. However, her little stunt reminded her of Helena’s nature, something she had forgotten in her sorrow.
“Hi. I’m not proud of it,” Olivia claimed, assuming a low tone. “It was the heat of the moment. It was like I lost all control of my body in there.”
“Heat indeed,” Helena snorted in amusement, as her face lit up with a smile. “I snuck a peek into your future this morning, Olivia. Pardon the intrusion, but you looked very upset yesterday, plus, I had to ensure that the pack wouldn’t follow you to that beauty salon. I saw what happened between you two; well, most of it, anyway. I…” she faltered, as red heat flushed her cheeks. “I had to take a cold shower afterwards.”
“Helena, I seduced him!” Olivia exclaimed, cocking her head in a spasm of frustration. “I wanted to stay away from him after today, and what did I do? I had sex with him!”
“Excuse me?” The witch squinted up at her, her voice reeking with suspicion. “Did I hear you right? You seduced him?”
“Well, yeah!” Olivia insisted, her own tone going up an octave. “Didn’t you see it?”
“No, girl, that’s where you’re wrong,” Helena emphasized, her face hardening, as she took a short step closer to her. “Yes, you gave him the go-ahead, but before that, he had set the mood very well. Enigma’s music is ideal for such occasions. It’s by far the most sensual ever created. It was extremely popular, back in the nineties, and people still love it today. Trust me, Olivia. He seduced you, not the other way around.”
“Does it matter?” Olivia asked, thrusting both arms out to the side. “I should have shown more restraint, Helena. God…” she sighed, tipping her head back to look up into the sky. “How could I have been so selfish?”
“You did nothing wrong,” Helena retorted, answering her in a sweeter sounding voice, shaking her head lightly. “You did what most single women would do in your place. I envied you; I really did. Who wouldn’t want to be pampered like that?”
“I broke the rules,” Olivia said, her tone a little higher than a whisper. “How can you be so cool about that?”
“Because I’m the last person in this world to talk about resisting temptation,” Helena replied, her eyes burning with compassion. “Cliff used to be an FBI agent. He could expose us all, but I went out with him, anyway. I knew he was off limits, but I was too attracted to him. We went dancing; he was very nice to me. By the end of the night, all I could think of was getting him into bed.”
“I know about you and Cliff, Helena,” Olivia stated, gently hanging her head. “My friend, Ava, told me your story, a couple of days after our battle against Damian. You had Raul’s approval. I don’t.”
“Don’t worry about Raul,” Helena urged, as she leaned towards her. “I can handle him. Is David good to you? Do you want to keep seeing him?”
“Well…” Olivia said on an exhale. “Other than the ‘stalking’ part, he’s been great to me. He’s kind, he looks me in the eye, he’s got this…” she paused: “...beautiful voice that gives me the chills; and he’s got a ton of patience. Today, I expected him to yell at me, but he didn’t. He just took off.”
“Then go ahead,” Helena advised, as she smiled up at her. “Just keep him out of Paxton for now.”
“Thank you,” sighed Olivia, feeling like a massive weight had been lifted off her shoulders. “Your support means a lot to me, but I still have a few questions. Could David and I have a future? I mean, could our relationship lead anywhere?”
“I’m afraid I don’t have any answers right now, my dear Olivia,” Helena declared, as her face hardened with disappointment. “I do know about two cases of bears and wolves getting together, but I don’t have any details. Give me forty-eight hours. I’ll see what I can dig up. Meet me up at Acheron River on Saturday night at eight o’clock. Don’t give up on him, okay?”
“Okay,” Olivia said with a nod. The witch flashed her one more, even bigger, smile, as a plume of red smoke shot up from the ground. Finding herself all alone in her backyard, she puffed a deep breath, relieved that her relationship with Helena was intact. Not only was she not judgmental, but she even encouraged her to date David. Having the witch of Paxton by her side was crucial. Raul might have been the Alpha, but Helena was very dear to him. He valued her opinion, and would think twice, before doing anything that might displease her. Even so, Olivia could not be appeased. Now, she had something else to worry about other than her Alpha’s approval. She wouldn’t jump into a relationship with David, until she knew for a fact that it could evolve into something much deeper than a fling.
Chapter Ten
Feeling uneasy, Olivia went back inside her cabin, hearing the witch’s words swirl in her mind. At last, a solution to her problem seemed to be on the horizon. Hopefully, Helena would find the answers she so desperately needed. Still, that could take a while. Her issue was out of the ordinary, and the couples she had mentioned were too few. She would have to go through a lot of trouble in order to track them both down. Nevertheless, Olivia had one more question, one that even a witch as mighty as Helena could not answer: What was the origin of David’s interest in her? The two of them had never met. They had never been in the same area whatsoever; and yet, for some reason she could not fathom, he insisted on dating her. To find out, Olivia had to confront him; and, after what had transpired between them already today, it was doubtful whether he would tell her or not.
Therefore, she decided to go searching for clues. To do that, however, she would have to break another rule. The pack was not allowed to venture outside their territory in wolf form, without the Alpha’s permission. But, Olivia did not hesitate. She was dying to know, and Raul was literally the last man on earth she would go to at this time. Another rule violation would not deter her. In any case though, she would not do this alone. If she had learned from her meeting with David’s beast, was that she needed her friends. Going out into the wilderness all alone always had a chance of leading to tragedy. She needed to take a comrade, or, better yet, comrades with her: in particular, Amy and Breanne.
Olivia stormed out of her cabin, burning with determination, on that warm, early-June night. The ample moonlight reflected upon the road in front of her, painting it a brighter shade of gray, as she recalled David’s caresses. Her heart fluttered, as she realized that not all hope was lost. There was a chance that she could feel them again, and in a more comfortable environment than a massage parlor. Still, as much as she enjoyed their encounter, she needed more than just casual sex. Besides, his behavior towards her had provided evidence that he could fulfill her needs. David was refined, straight-forward, and very much in control of his temper.
As Ava’s house came into view, Olivia had to put those thoughts aside. The memory of his kisses was sending her pulse rising. Her flushed cheeks would serve as an excuse for Ava to tease her again. Much to her liking, her friend was outside, and she was not alone. She was standing on the pavement, staring down at a car that had just pulled up outside her home. The two, tall brunettes that exited the vehicle confirmed Olivia’s suspicions. Amy and Breanne had just arrived, filling her heart with anticipation. She quickened her pace, in the hope that they would agree to her bold plan, as the three friends exchanged cordial hugs.
