“Um,” Adrian clears his throat, we don’t stop kissing. “By the power vested in me by—” He sighs. “May I now present Mr. and Mrs. Killian Stone. You may continue kissing your bride.”
There are only a few claps.
If there were a million, I wouldn’t hear them.
Because my only focus is her.
She may have exposed the groom a year ago—but I’m the lucky one that stole the bride.
EPILOGUE
Killian
“No.” I shake my head and kiss down her neck. She’s naked, I’m naked, it’s perfect. We’re on our honeymoon in Portugal, and she found a turtle, decided it was a good idea to get Chuck a friend. “He already has the two dogs and the cat from the winery that you adopted before we left for the honeymoon.”
She flips me over onto my back, shimmies herself onto my dick and starts to move slowly. Shit, she knows what this does to me.
I can’t think straight.
Am I slurring my words or just my thoughts?
Why is the sky blue?
Fuck.
“Killian…” She moves slow, deep. What even is life right now? “Don’t you think Chuck is lonely? He’s all by himself.”
“Yes.” I grip her by the hips and move her up and down, harder, faster. “Yes, so lonely, loneliness sucks.” Ah so close, she clenches around me. I bite down on my lower lip nearly drawing blood as she leans down and licks around my ear, only to cool it with her mouth and kiss down my neck with more nibbles. Then she moves back and reaches around her ass and cups my balls.
I jolt forward and sit up as she rides me.
“I mean…” Manipulative woman. “He would be small, we can handle one more.”
“We can handle everything, just don’t stop.”
She stops and grins up at me. “Hmm?”
“What? What fresh hell?” I grip her by the ass and still inside her flip her onto her stomach. “You’ll definitely pay for that.”
I screw her long and hard, thinking of it like a punishment when really, I’m enjoying the way her body responds.
“Killian,” she moans. “We were having a conversation.”
“It was…” I groan and pump into her again. “…completely one sided.”
“No.”
“Yes.” I slap her ass. “Oh, yes.”
I’m exhausted seconds later and collapse next to her.
“Thank you so much!” She kisses me on the mouth.
“For sex?” Did I pass out for a minute? Never had an orgasm do that to me before.
“You said oh yes at the end when I asked one more time. What do you think we should name him?”
I groan into my hands. “MC Hammer. Every turtle needs a sidekick.”
“Brilliant.” She high fives my abs. “Ready for round three?”
“No.” I shove her away. “You weaponized sex for a turtle!”
“And you hated it so much?” She laughs and ruffles my hair. “Let’s go, we’ll be late for lunch with Adrian.”
“Can’t believe he came to our honeymoon,” I grumble getting off the bed.
“Dustin did invite him ever since he took a sabbatical and you know how bored he was, he wouldn’t stop texting you reels and TikToks, so technically it’s your fault you invited him to the honeymoon aka your European tour.”
I laugh. “Hey, having a chaplain on the road for a rock tour, there really is a first for everything.”
“I especially like how the backup dancers hit on him every single concert.” She wraps her arms around me. “I love you.”
I kiss her on the head. “I love you too.” After slapping her ass, I go and get ready.
For the first time, I’m not alone on the road, I truly have a family, though I’ll die before telling Dustin that. Ever since the wedding, my popularity skyrocketed. I’d like to thank TikTokkers everywhere for that.
I go into the bathroom and smile into the mirror, when a knock sounds at the door.
“I’ll get it!” Scarlett calls.
She opens it and chaos ensues.
“You guys are always late to brunch!” Adrian complains. “And you promised mimosas after you lost the turtle bet.”
“Oh, leave it!” Scarlett yells. “It was one race on the beach, and you can’t cheat by throwing sand in my turtle’s way.”
I laugh and spit out the toothpaste then stare at myself in the mirror. This is my life, listening to friends argue about turtle races before going on stage, dancing around and looking as sexy as humanly possible.
Dustin suddenly appears at the door and knocks. “Yo, I gotta use the toilet. They have so much wine here, I just can’t say no.”
“Learn how,” I bite out. “And yeah, just don’t forget to wash your hands.”
“I never forget.”
I stare him down.
He grumbles, “It was one time, and I was drunk.”
“Use soap,” I remind him, then shut the door and lean against it while Adrian and Scarlett continue to argue, now it’s about watering house plants.
It never ends with this crew.
And I know, I’ll never see someone’s back again, unless they’re mooning me, running for safety after a nerf race, or chasing a stalker that’s trying to follow me.
Life is good.
Hey, maybe you should just take your chances when they’re thrown at you, and maybe if you have a cheating bastard of a partner, you expose the shit out of them and move to greener pastures.
Then, by all means.
Buy a fucking turtle.
