Vampire Shifter Academy, page 11
Eva bent to get in, then straightened out again, once she was inside. The boys did the same. She looked around to see that this part seemed slightly renovated, in the sense that the floors were covered by an additional layer of wood, the walls were also closed up, wherever there were holes and painted over. There was a small radio in the corner and a few candles on a burnt, but still functional little nightstand. In the right corner, there was a mattress, which obviously served as a bed, because it had two pillows and a new looking blanket. It was all surprisingly clean.
“Did you guys do all this?” she wondered, still looking around.
“You like it?” Dorian asked, glancing at Frey with a look of satisfaction.
“I never would have expected to find something like this inside this old thing.”
“That was exactly the point,” Frey chimed in. “We wanted a place of our own, you know. Away from everyone else. And what better place than the one everyone is afraid to come to?”
“What about that blood dealer?” Eva suddenly asked. “Do you know who it is?”
“Oh, the well story,” Dorian nodded. “We saw him a few times, but never his face. He saw us, too. Maybe he even knows about this place, I don’t know. But, he never made trouble for us and we did likewise. It’s been working so far.”
“So, this is where you bring all the girls?” she asked, immediately forgetting about the blood dealer.
Frey and Dorian looked at each other, then back at her.
“This is where we come, just the two of us,” Dorian told her.
“You’re just saying that now,” she snorted.
“No, seriously,” Frey assured her. “You’re the first girl we ever brought up here.”
“Really?”
She was still unsure whether or not to believe them. Against her better judgment and urging from her father - she did.
“I feel special,” she smiled.
“And I told you, you are,” Frey approached her.
She could smell just a hint of his cologne and wondered if he’d put it on just for her. Dorian took her by the other hand, then gently led her to the bed, Frey followed. Eva’s heart was beating like crazy. She couldn’t believe she was here, with them. She couldn’t believe what she was about to do.
She sat down on the bed, with Frey on her right side, and Dorian on her left. Frey took over first, leaning in to cover her lips with his. If she could imagine a perfect kiss, this would be it. He was pulling her into him, while Dorian touched her shoulders softly, his fingers traveling down her arms, landing gently on her waist. Frey pulled away and she realized she wanted more. Much more.
Dorian’s hands were already pulling her shirt up. She raised her arms. When she put them down, she was only wearing her bra.
“You smell so good,” she heard Dorian whisper into her ear and another surge of electricity traveled throughout her body.
She wanted to feel his tongue. There was nothing she would deny him. Either of them. She released a silent breath, in anticipation of what was to come. Frey’s hand traveled downwards, between her legs. She was already wet. She had been falling for them both little by little, and now, she would finally get what she wanted all along, what she craved for.
Dorian unhooked her bra, letting it slowly slide down her shoulders, revealing her perky breasts, nipples peaking. Frey smiled, then kissed each one, while she could feel Dorian’s kisses landing on her neck and earlobes. She was already wet, knowing what would come next, anticipating it. She had been waiting for this for so long, unwilling to admit it even to herself but they sensed her desire. They smelled it on her body, her every pore revealing her secret to them.
Dorian turned her face to him, pressing his tongue to hers. His hand was on her neck, dictating the tempo, as Frey’s hand found its way down, his fingers tracing the seam of her wet panties.
She moaned and Dorian suddenly released his grip. In a second, she was lying on her back, with her legs bent in the knees, spread wide. Frey didn’t waste any time taking off her panties or her skirt. He slid her panties to the side and pressed his tongue onto her, tasting her. It was so sweet, so wet. Frey’s tongue was inside of her, soaking up her juices, as Dorian’s lips pressed against hers, stifling her moans. She pressed her pussy closer to Frey, riding him now, wanting more, but not sure if she could take any more. He pressed his finger against her clit which was swollen with desire, as he finger fucked her harder and harder, pressing that spot which finally made her explode from within. Her body flexed and twitched, but he didn’t stop. Instead, he kept on going, not allowing her a second’s rest.
Dorian pulled back and she saw him unbuckle his pants, revealing his hardened dick to her. It was bigger than anything she’d seen before. She palmed it, her fingers couldn’t even encircle it. She put it in her mouth, feeling another wave of pleasure coming on.
Then, it was Frey’s time to move back and she heard another familiar sound. But, before she could see what he was packing, he was already at her entrance, caressing her pussy. Little by little, he pressed into her, as her mouth was full of Dorian. Frey pressed his thumb against her clit, massaging it gently. He knew if he pushed harder, she would come again and he wanted to make her wait for this one.
Dorian’s head tilted back, as she sucked him off, her warm tongue playing tricks on him, sucking, licking and teasing, until he could not take it anymore, and filled her mouth with his hot, sticky cum.
“Fuck…”
She heard Dorian groan, but she didn’t have time to focus on his pleasure, as she was taking all, even more than she was willing to give. The sound of her wet pussy being slapped by Frey’s cock was too much to bear, as he exploded into her, her pussy tightening, reaching her own climax once again.
They remained like that for a few seconds, their bodies interconnected, feeling like this was exactly as they should be, forever. She felt sore, like her every muscle was touched by these two orgasms, and she was worn out. A wave of pleasure and peace washed over her, and she saw the same feelings on their faces.
Dorian rolled down next to her and the three lay down on the bed, holding hands. They wrapped their arms around her, feeling her shiver.
“Are you okay?” Frey asked.
She could feel herself blushing a little, now that it was all over.
“I haven’t felt this good in a long time,” she replied, feeling sleepy. “Should we head back?” she asked, even though she was hoping for a negative reply.
“We don’t have to, if you don’t want to,” Dorian told her, kissing her on the forehead. “We can stay here as long as you’d like.”
She smiled silently, then closed her eyes. The last thing she remembered was how their sweat smelled, sweet and sticky, and she was finally theirs.
Chapter 16
“Where have you been?”
Eva opened the door to her dorm room, and was greeted by Bella’s worried face. She entered slowly, with a mysterious smile on hers, dropping her backpack to the ground, then sitting next to Bella on the bed.
“Shit, that really looks bad, Eva. I heard Katrina cornered you in the bathroom.”
“She did,” Eva nodded, with that same cryptic smile.
“And somehow, you’re not pissed. Why?” Bella eyed her strangely. “I’d be furious.”
“I was.”
“But, not anymore?”
Eva kept on smiling, then at one point, she even giggled, pressing her hand to her mouth, as if she was trying to suppress an even bigger and louder bout of laugher which was dying to get out.
“You look crazy,” Bella remarked. “Why do you look crazy?”
At that point, Eva couldn’t stop laughing. It was a laughter of joy she hadn’t felt in a long time and it was like a huge rock was lifted off her chest. She was finally able to breathe again.
“Eva,” Bella leaned a little away, her eyes wide with unexpected shock, “you’re scaring me. Talk to me.”
“Sorry,” Eva finally spoke, wiping her eyes. “I’m just so happy.”
“You got beaten up, and you’re happy?” Bella didn’t understand and Eva knew that she would tell her, at least a part of her reason for such joy.
“Katrina is the last thing on my mind right now. This,” she gestured at her cracked lip, “I don’t even feel it anymore. It’s like it never happened.”
“I can see that,” Bella said, after a moment’s reflection. “I just can’t figure out why.”
“Do you want the good news or the better news first?”
“Isn’t that good news or bad news?”
“Not in this case,” Eva shared. “So choose, good news or better news?”
“Good news first, I guess.”
“I was up in the abandoned house…”
“What?” Bella shrieked. “Why the hell would you go there? Don’t you know it’s dangerous?”
“Chill,” Eva calmed her down, “I wasn’t alone.”
“Even worse,” Bella snorted. “Who were you with?”
“Frey…” Eva started, thinking whether she could be honest with Bella or not.
Then she realized she’d had enough of false friends and people who would think she was a freak. Those weren’t the kind of people she wanted to be around, so if Bella couldn’t understand what made her happy… well, then, Bella wasn’t much of a friend.
“And Dorian,” Eva finally added.
“You were… with both of them?” Bella asked, just to make sure she understood correctly.
“Yes, with both of them,” she affirmed.
“Did you guys…?”
“Yes,” Eva confirmed again, a part of her scared of what would follow.
Bella eyed her for a few seconds, which seemed to last like an entire eternity, during which Eva had already said goodbye to her newfound best friend, who was great company, but probably not the only person who could become Eva’s best friend. There were so many other people in the world, people who would understand what she…
“So, I guess you’ll have to kick Katrina’s ass next time,” Bella grinned, interrupting Eva’s train of thought.
Now, Eva was sure that she had a friend for life. She’d received no backlash or preaching. Only understanding and a smile, which proved that true friendship was really unconditional.
“So, how was it?” Bella asked, shuffling closer to Eva. “I want to hear all the juicy details.”
“Eh now,” Eva laughed. “I don’t kiss and tell.”
“Is Dorian packing? I heard he is. I heard he’s huge!” Bella’s eyes drooled at the thought.
Eva laughed.
“All I’m going to say is that it really was an unforgettable experience and I do hope we’ll get to do it again, maybe with someone else involved.”
“Someone else!?” Bella was shocked, but in a good way. “Who? Who?”
“You sound like an owl,” Eva couldn’t stop laughing. “If I tell you, you might not like it.”
“You don’t mean….”
They both knew exactly who she meant. It wasn’t necessary for his name to be spoken out loud.
“Eva, he’s bad news…”
“You don’t know that, maybe he’s not. Maybe he has a good reason to do what you think he’s doing.”
“Money?” Bella snorted.
“You’re not giving him the benefit of the doubt. If you do that, people might surprise you.”
“They also might shock you and not in a good way, like you shocked me just now.”
Eva burst into laughter again and Bella joined in.
“I just don’t want you to get hurt, that’s all. You’re my friend.”
“I know,” Eva was thankful, “and I appreciate that, I really do, but I need to find out on my own what’s happening here.”
“What do you mean?” Bella didn’t understand.
“Well, remember that I had even better news?” Eva reminded her.
“Oh yeah!” Bella remembered. “You mean, it’s better than doing it with the two cutest guys in school?”
“It can’t even be compared.”
“Wow. What is it?”
“My dad is alive,” Eva said it aloud again and a part of her still didn’t believe it, even though she had his letter and Amelie assured her he was getting better.
“Wait… what?”
“My dad survived the crash.”
“How do you know?”
“I can’t tell you that, I’m sworn to secrecy but there’s something seriously shady happening in Ridgeview Academy and it has something to do with my dad and Sorwyce.”
“Sorwyce?” Bella was surprised. “But, that story happened ages ago!”
“And they had no idea where he was or where he is now, right?”
“Or if he’s even alive,” Bella added.
Eva wanted to tell her that he was, but she managed to bite her tongue in time, causing a surge of pain, remembering only then that she still had a cracked lip.
“That all sounds incredibly dangerous.”
Eva could see worry in Bella’s eyes. She took her by the hands. They were cold and clammy.
“We’re safe, don’t worry,” she lied, knowing that this was what her friend needed to hear right now.
The truth was far from it. She could sense it in Amelie’s voice, she could read it between the lines of her dad’s letter. They weren’t safe, she least of all people. But, she knew that she needed to watch out and that made her a dangerous prey - one that knew it was hunted.
Chapter 17
The following few days passed by uneventfully and Eva welcomed the feeling. She almost felt like just a student, attending school and focusing on her school work, instead of someone who was forced to unearth a mystery regarding a whole new race of beings she once thought were just a myth.
She had stumbled onto Katrina a few times, only in passing, in the hallway and for some reason Katrina didn’t seem to see her or, if she did, she pretended not to. Eva wondered if Frey or Dorian had anything to do with that, or maybe, Katrina simply got bored of bullying her and had already found a new target.
Eva felt bad that she couldn’t focus on Katrina right now. She needed someone to put her in her place, badly, but Eva couldn’t waste her energy on that right now. She was waiting for her dad. She knew that once he came, something monumental would happen and she needed to be ready. She couldn’t afford to dissipate her strength and focus on someone as irrelevant as Katrina right now. That meant that whoever was to become her next object of bully affection, would have to deal with it on their own.
One afternoon after school, she remembered Sebastian. She hadn’t seen him in school. She wondered about this. Was it possible that their classes never overlapped, not even once? She’d seen everyone else: Bella most frequently, Frey and Dorian, as well, Katrina unfortunately, but never Sebastian. Did he even attend this school as a regular student or did some special rules apply to him?
What surprised her though, was the fact that he was the most popular topic of girl talk in the school bathroom. It wasn’t Dorian, the most well liked jock, or Frey, who was also considered one of the best catches in school. It was the lone wolf, Sebastian, who seemed to follow a set of rules which applied only to him and no one else.
“I heard that he got a girl pregnant, and they had to send her away, so her parents don’t find out!” one girl said in a hush-hush tone, as Eva did her business in the bathroom.
They didn’t seem to mind that there were other girls there, listening in. Everyone found this gossip juicy enough to spread around, so it popped throughout the school, like fertilized weeds with no sign of any eradication.
“I heard his mom is a witch of the first order!” another girl said.
“What? No! His mom is half werewolf, half water nymph.”
“That’s crazy!” a third one giggled.
“I heard he killed his dad, so his mom sent him here, that his bloodlust is unquenchable!”
“Is that why he’s a blood dealer? So, he can have access to blood any time he needs it?”
“Probably!”
At that point, Eva would flush, making them stop talking, even though they didn’t really care. She’d walk out, wash her hands, and watch them in the reflection of the mirror, as they continued spreading their gossip, no matter the cost. To them, it didn’t matter who it was about. They enjoyed the mayhem it might bring. But, Sebastian was an especially ungrateful target, as he never commented on anything they’d ask him or tell him. He’d just shrug his shoulders and walk away.
