The Sinner Redeemed (L.A. Sinners MC), page 17
“Shut up,” he orders. “Everyone will be here any second, and I need to nut in that sweet cunt of yours.”
I bite down on his fingers, and he slams into me harder and harder, reaching down and smacking my ass. The bathroom door is ajar, so anyone can walk in, but with the pace he’s going, we’ll be finished before that happens.
“Fuck, Phoenix,” he groans, and I grip the ledge of the counter.
He leans forward and pulls my nipple into his mouth, nipping at the sensitive peak until I cry out. So much for being quiet.
I come then, milking his dick with my spasms, and he’s right after me, my name spilling from his lips. Damn, I love this man.
He pulls out of me and shoves his dick into his pants, quickly buttoning them up before grabbing me some tissue to clean me up. I can hear voices, so someone has arrived.
Reid shoots me a smirk and slips out of the bathroom, giving me some time to finish cleaning up before someone bursts in. When I’m all done, I walk out, greeting the other Sinners as well as Hell’s Fury.
The numbers for both clubs have grown over the past few years. The Rykers who were hanging around officially joined the Sinners, and they recruited even more members since.
I still am not privy to all of the Sinners’ information, but I know a lot. After Agent Redmond signed on to help with the club, receiving shipments and making deliveries got a lot easier, and the city became safer. The Sinners control the drug trade, and with their reputation, no one wants to fuck with that.
As for Hell’s Fury, we have one hell of an ally with being affiliated with the Sinners. Yes, I said we. After a lot of consideration, I talked to Mackenzie about it, like Reid suggested, and she sponsored me. I don’t regret it at all.
Today is a pretty big day for us. Once I finished school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life, aside from being with Reid. It’s taken me long enough to get to this point.
I don’t want any more children not to have a home. Children like Reid and children like Mico, even his brother. I looked into the requirements for opening a boys’ home. Because, let’s face it, calling it an ‘orphanage’ makes it sound so depressing.
That’s where we are. The building is finally finished. We turned one of the Sinners’ warehouses into a home for boys. It took a lot of remodeling and a good amount of time, but we did it. Even Mico and Enrico helped with the construction. They’re basically a part of our lives now. Not members of the club, but part of our family all the same.
“This is amazing,” Harper says.
Her son, Lazarus, whom we call him ‘Laz,’ lets go of her hand and takes off running to check everything out. Her second child with Lucien is due next month. This one is supposed to be a girl. They already have their hands full with Layla. She’s eleven going on twenty-five.
“Damn right it is. I still can’t believe this place used to be a warehouse,” Mackenzie comments and mumbles a curse before she yells, “Don’t touch that! Don’t touch anything!”
Her twin girls, Kendalyn and Kailyn, both turn to look at her, their adorable faces full of innocence. Harper reminds her that they’re in the terrible two’s stage.
“Are you kidding me? They’ve been terrible since they came out of my vagina.” I stifle a laugh, and she glares at me. “You just wait. You and Reid go around fucking like bunnies. You’re next.”
I know she isn’t actually being mean. She denied being and wanting to be pregnant basically her entire pregnancy. Having twins was a shock to both her and Warren, considering that only one baby was seen on the ultrasounds. But she and Warren both love those girls more than anything.
“We’re still getting in some supplies before we can officially open, but they’ll be in next week, and then we’ll have an open house,” I say, changing the subject. “We wanted everyone to see it first. See the outcome of all the work we’ve been putting in.”
“Did you just change the subject?” Harper questions. “She just changed the subject.”
I feel my cheeks heat. “I was simply telling the two of you about the place. You know, why don’t you explore like everyone else is doing.”
“Now, she’s trying to get rid of us,” Mackenzie accuses. “Let’s find a pregnancy test. She has to go pee on one right the hell now.”
I shake my head, laughing. “There is no need for that.”
“Yeah. There is definitely a need for that.”
“No, there really isn’t,” I say. “Because I did that this morning.”
Their eyes go wide, and before I can say anything, Reid walks up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. The waist that will be getting bigger and bigger before long. I should’ve been more careful about the birth control implant.
“Did what this morning?” he asks. “Besides me?”
I know he’s smirking because Harper and Mackenzie roll their eyes. He’s definitely smirking.
“Laz? Do you have chocolate? Who gave you chocolate?” Harper calls out. “Layla! You, too?”
I glance over to where the kids are and see Lucien pick Laz up, laughing as he shoves the candy bar into his mouth. He ruffles Layla’s hair, and Harper glares at Reid. I can feel him smile against my cheek. She looks at me, and a smile spreads across her face.
“Payback is a bitch, Reid. Remember that.”
She and Mackenzie burst out laughing as they walk off. Oh boy. I turn around in his arms, wrapping mine around his neck.
“You should probably be careful about what you give their kids,” I warn.
“Hey, I’m Uncle Reid. I’m going to have those kids full of sugar and crop-dusting everyone.”
“Well, you should think about what they’re going to do to our kid,” I say. “Like she said, payback.”
I see the way his eyes drift down to my stomach and the moment the realization hits him.
We’ve been in a good place for a long time. We have an apartment, stable income, and a rock-solid relationship. Still, this pregnancy is unplanned. Possibly unwanted. Not by me, but by him. We haven’t talked about having kids or even doing anything more than what we’re doing.
“Reid? Say something. Anything.”
He places his hand on my stomach and exhales. “That’s incredible.”
“Does this mean you want to be a father?”
I wait for him to respond with a question, the way he always does. He grins at me, tears twinkling in his eyes. And for once, he gives me an outright answer.
“Yes.”
