“Fine with me. I can shift and carry you all back. Cole handed Piper to Travis and marched out to shift. Leo glanced around the room wondering what the trackers were trying to get out of Piper’s mind. It had felt like they were trying to pull something out of her, but she wouldn’t break. When she woke, he’d ask her about it. For now, she was safe with them, and soon they’d be back to the lake house with Gavin creating some barrier spells to keep her secure there.
Not to mention the fact that he needed to get back before the sun rose.
“Come on. Cole, you have an hour to get me back.” That time frame gave him a buffer, but he also wanted to make a call to his king when he got home. Cole rumbled as he exited. “Vision?” Travis glanced at Leo then Gavin.
“With the Goddess of Creation and the five of us.” Leo’s words didn’t fully make sense and Gavin’s brows scrunched together.
“How? I mean why would the Goddess of Creation visit Piper in a vision. That’s so freaking rare. You sure you heard her right?” Gavin had only heard of three rumored visions with the Goddess in the past five decades, and one was ruled false.
Piper’s breathing increased, sending worry to Gavin’s soul. He tightened his grip on her hip and white flashed in front of his eyes. He wasn’t in the lake house and he wasn’t in his own body. “A house,” someone else said in the background.
“Clarkson?” Cole leaned closer as he eyed the phone. He mouthed the word alpha and Gavin understood his shock.
“Yep.” Clarkson chuckled. “We managed to find a house with good bones, and with some work last night, we managed to get it ready.”
“For who?” Leo asked this time.
“For all five of you.” Alic snapped out and Gavin eyed Leo who just glared at the phone.
“There is a bed big enough for all five of you; the king and I built it together.” Clarkson sounded proud of himself.
“Where is it?” Gavin wondered how they managed to find a house in Portland that didn’t cost a small fortune.

“Good, Lois.” Travis smiled and Leo stood and walked away.

“Got it.”

Leo stared at his phone then nodded. “It has a garage. We can leave now.”

“My car is light tight. Isn’t yours?” His brow arched then he strolled away.
“Damn.” Cole chuckled and Gavin caught something change in Piper’s scent. A change most would detect any second.
