Caleb and Max always give us looks when they pass by our office, making Bridgett and Dustin nervous, but I think it’s hilarious. I have to fight to keep the smile off my face. They’re not trying to make them nervous, they’re checking in on me, to see how I’m getting along with my friends. Caleb always sends me a small smile that shoots straight to my heart.

The night before Candice and I are due to leave, Caleb invites us to his house to have dinner. They’re going to drive me and Candice to the airport in the morning so we won’t have to leave our cars, accumulating charges every day and it’ll save us from ordering an Uber that might not get us there on time.

Caleb’s house is a surprise. With all his money, I expected his place to be some sprawling mansion with a crazy long driveway in a gated community. Instead, we pull up to a cozy brick ranch-style house with a large wraparound porch and a cute little porch swing. It has a large blue door and black shutters that shouldn’t work, but it does. When Caleb, Max and I step inside, I’m immediately put at ease by the open concept. Everything is open and flows fluidly. I love it here already.

“Have a seat,” Caleb tells us, directing us to the couch. “I’ll have dinner finished shortly.” Max and I sit on the couch and get comfortable. He puts his arm around my shoulders and I lean into him. He turns on the television and we sit to watch something to rot our brains until it’s time for dinner. I’m not really paying attention to what we’re talking about. Mostly soaking up his attention. I’m anxious for Caleb to get back so he can spoil me too.

After twenty or so minutes, Caleb calls us into the dining room, a delicious looking waiting for us. I can’t help the silly smile that grows slowly across my face. It’s a surprise that Caleb can cook. As privileged as he grew up, I figured he would have a cook or someone prepare his meals. He looks at me, a wry smile tugging at his lips. I roll my eyes and sit down, Max right behind me.

Talking at dinner isn’t a new experience. We’ve done it plenty while we were in Virginia. But we’re on home turf now. We’re not eating something a cook made for us. This was made special for me and Max. Caleb wanted us to be here, together, with him. I believed him when he said it in Virginia, but it seems he was serious about dating me and Max. I love that. And I’m glad he asked for us to spend the night with him before I left for the cruise he so graciously paid for. For me and my sister.

I still can't quite believe it. While I know he felt bad for me after he witnessed the disaster that was my wedding, he didn’t have to go out of his way to make sure I had a proper vacation. Hell, Virginia was enough of a vacation. We did more there in a week than I had done in all my life. Sending me on a cruise isn’t really necessary, but I know it’s because he wants to take care of me. I love that, too.

After we’re finished dinner, I plan to curl up on the couch with them to watch a movie or talk, but Caleb clearly has other ideas. Once I’m finished with the dishes, he pulls me into a long, searing kiss and grinds into me while I lean against the sink. He doesn’t let me go for a good while.

When he finally releases my mouth, he says against my lips, “You’ll be gone for five days. We’re going to miss you.”

I shiver, because I know what he’s thinking. And I’m all for it. Caleb grabs my hand and leads me into the bedroom, where Max is waiting and the only thing he’s wearing is a flirty smile. It doesn’t take me long to get undressed and for the three of us to get lost in each other for the next few hours. Hands, legs, tongues and teeth are all that we know.

After we’re sated, we lie sprawled in Caleb’s abnormally large bed. One too big for a single man. As usual, I’m in the middle with Caleb on my right and Max on my left. Caleb has his back pressed to the headboard with me leaning into his side. Max is lying on my thighs and I’m running my fingers along his scalp.

I would never have thought Max would be like this, seeming so touch starved when we’re together. Some kind of way, since we started dating, he’s always found a way to get my hands on him. And I don’t mind. I love touching him. Caleb too. I wish we could be more open about it. When we’re out in public, besides when we went skydiving, it’s been a challenge to keep my hands to myself. Maybe one day, in the future, we can be who we want. We can touch how we want and be as open in public as we are in our homes. But it won’t happen as long as I’m working for them. I don’t want to make it seem like I’m using them. I would never do that. Not to them.

Caleb kisses my neck and asks out of the blue, “You ever think about being a lawyer?” He rubs his hand over my pecs, fingers dancing lightly on my nipple. “You’d make a great attorney.” I shiver, loving the feel of his hand on me.

I shake my head and snuggle into him, pulling Max higher on my lap. “No. I like what I do. I like the research side of things. I like helping that way. Doing something I’m good at and making sure you guys have the strongest case possible.”

“You are,” Max says from my lap, bringing my fingers from his head to his lips, kissing them lightly. “Good at it. Best I’ve ever worked with.”

Rubbing my fingers on his chin, I turn his face to look at me. “Oh please,” I tell him. “You’re only saying that because I suck your dick.”

He guffaws and rolls to bite my thigh. “You’re good at that, too.”

We all share a laugh. I love being so close to them like this. All of our guards down. All of us being so open and truthful.

“Would you two date me publicly? Like we go on dates and kiss and hold hands and mushy shit like that?” I blurt out. I’ve never been one to want things like that so badly. It was mostly something I did because it was expected of me when I dated women. I would be content to sit at home and read a book or watch a movie. But with Caleb and Max, I want to do things. And I want whoever is around to know they’re mine. Because they are. Mine.

Caleb shrugs, still rubbing my chest, still making me shiver. “I told you before we came back I would. I was serious. Whatever it entails, whatever you want, I’ll do. I don’t mind showing you off. Even at work.”

“Let’s not get carried away,” I say to him with a chuckle, turning around to give him a light kiss. “I just mean, if I reach for either of you while we’re out, will you pull away from me? Make it seem like we’re not together, that we’re just friends?” I try to keep my tone light, but I think if they did something like that, it would break me. It’s only been a month and a half with them, but I’ve come to rely on them. I’ve opened up to them. I think them pretending like we’re nothing after I let them in would be crushing.

Max sits up and takes my hands. “Gage, I’m going to be honest. I’m scared shitless to be in this relationship. I’ve never done anything like this in my life. It’s frightening, I can’t lie.” He squeezes my hands. “But this is the best thing that’s happened to me. You and Caleb…” he leans in to give me a soft kiss and Caleb leans towards him and gives him an equally soft kiss. “You two have made me happier than I’ve been in years. So, to answer your question, again,” he says with mock indignation, “yes, I’ll date you in public. If that’s what you want. Like Caleb said, I’ll do whatever you want.”

I smile softly at him and pull him back down to my lap, scratching his scalp and humming contentedly in my throat. Caleb goes back to rubbing me and kissing my neck, making me feel warm all over. God, these two men. They’re the best part of my life right now. And I want it for the foreseeable future.

We talk more, late into the night. Too late for it to be advisable, with them taking me to the airport in the morning. By the time Max tells us we need sleep, it’s almost one in the morning. I don’t want to stop talking to them though. I’m learning so much. About Max’s life, about his childhood, about why he became a lawyer. I feel a little bad that I didn’t even know he was an attorney. Joyce never really talked about her family much. We went over for dinner a few times a month, but since he rarely talked to me, and I only really paid attention to Joyce, I never picked up on it. I tell him as much when we’re talking, but he doesn’t mind. He didn’t know what I did either, which is why he was shocked when I showed up with Caleb for the case.

“I probably wouldn’t have applied had I known you were working there. Guess it’s a good thing I didn’t know,” he tells me with a twinkle in his eyes. I laugh at him and kiss him soundly.

Though Caleb told us a lot while we were in Virginia, he’s more open now after he told us about his father. He freely shares everything with us, not hiding behind anything like I thought he would. He was always so closed off before Virginia. Like me, he’s letting us in. I’m doing everything I can to be worthy of that honor.

Finally, I give Max what he wants and curl into him. Caleb gives us both kisses on the forehead like we’re children, making me smile softly at him and he folds himself around me. I nestle into them, feeling warm on the front and back and smile to myself before I close my eyes and slide into a dreamless sleep.

A sleep that ends all too soon. It feels like as soon as I close my eyes, my alarm is going off. I try to snooze it and go back to sleep, but since I’m in the middle, I have to get up to shut it off. By the time I climb out of Caleb’s arms and move across Max’s body, I’m almost fully awake and both my guys are stirring. I curse myself, angry that I woke them when I wasn’t done cuddling.

I stretch and sprawl across them. I have become so needy in the past few weeks, I don’t recognize myself. They don’t seem to mind. So until they tell me to stop, I won’t.

“Don’t make me get up. It’s so warm here,” I joke in a sleepy voice.

“Up you go.” Max climbs out of bed and reaches for my hands. Grudgingly, I place them in his and let him pull me up. I pout to him when I’m standing and he boops my nose. Fucker. I slap his hand and he laughs at me. “If you’re good, we can have some fun in the shower.”

That perks me up. I almost jog to the shower. I hear both Caleb and Max’s laughter, but I don’t care. Feeling one of their dicks in my mouth and one of their mouths on me will be worth the laughter.

I’m in the shower, also too large for a single man, when they finally join me. I drop to my knees and open my mouth, not worrying about who slides to the back of my throat, just knowing that I want to feel someone there. Again, the two of them have other plans. Caleb pulls me up and Max drops to his knees in front of me, taking me into his mouth before I can tell him I want them. Then Caleb kneels as well. Seeing them both on their knees for me, worshipping my cock, taking turns sucking me off, is something I never thought I’d see.

Max swallows me down, taking my dick as far as it would go while Caleb pulls one of my balls into his mouth. I hold on to their shoulders, thrusting into them, moaning and making ungodly noises that I’m not sure are human. When I feel like I’m going to come, they pull back, sharing a kiss while they edge me. They do this three times, taking me as high as I can go, then backing off. If I wasn’t so horny and needing to come, I'd tell them to stop and just take care of it myself. But I like how their mouths feel on me. And I don’t want them to stop.

They finally take pity on me and when Caleb takes me into his mouth and Max tugs gently on my sac, it doesn’t take long for me to explode down Caleb’s throat. I lean back against the shower wall, taking greedy gulps of air, feeling like my knees will give out. Both of my men stand and Caleb takes my face roughly and gives me a deep kiss. I make a surprised noise in my throat because it’s usually Max that has the rougher touch. Coming from Caleb, my dick is trying to rally, extremely turned on by this new development.

He wrenches his mouth from mine and Max wraps a hand around my waist and grabs my throat, squeezing lightly. He brings his mouth to mine and kisses me just as Caleb had. Jesus, why do I have to go on vacation today?

They wash me, not letting me do anything but stand there and enjoy them. I’m kissed and licked all over the entire time, and they’re really tempting me to cancel this flight and make another one.

After we rinse off, Caleb helps me out of the shower, drying me with a thick, fluffy towel. He wraps it around my waist and pulls me close to him. “I’m going to miss you. Five days is a long time.”

“That why you kissed me like that?” I ask with a silly grin on my face. He nods and kisses my nose. “I’ll call every day. And send you plenty of pictures. And I’ll text in the group chat as often as I can. I promise.”

He nods but disagrees. “No. I want you to enjoy your time away with your sister. It’ll be good for us to miss you a bit.”

“Speak for yourself,” Max says. “I’d rather we go on the cruise together, but I’ll deal.” I look over my shoulder at him, admiring how edible he looks with just a towel wrapped around his waist. I swear, if I don’t get dressed now, I’ll never leave.

I peel myself out of Caleb’s arms and get dressed. If it were just me, I’d stay a little longer with them, but we still have to pick up Candice. I shoot her a quick text when I get back into the room to make sure she’s awake. She texts me back a pic of her with a straw hat on, smiling from ear to ear. I show my guys and they laugh lightly at her antics.

I try hard to keep it together on the short drive to Candice's. I wish my men were coming with me. We’ve done everything together since we started dating. It’s weird to have a first that they're not a part of.

Candice changes my attitude when she gets in. It’s barely six in the morning, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way she’s talking and smiling. I indulge her, because, like me, she’s never been on a cruise. At least I’ll have someone I love there with me, enjoying the sun and new experiences.

For once, I sit in the back, since Candice is with me. I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable sitting next to Max. She’s still on the fence about how she feels about him, judging from the way she’s giving him the hairy eyeball. I roll my eyes, but don’t say anything. From the way he treated me at the wedding and long before that, she isn’t going to forgive him easily. I’ll have to talk to her about it when we’re alone. She looks like she wants to say something, so I nudge her and give her a look. She shakes her head at me and looks pointedly to the back of Max’s head. I sigh and roll my eyes again, nodding my head in his direction. She won’t rest until she’s spoken her mind.

“So Max,” she begins and he turns around to look at her. “You plan to fuck my brother over like your sister did?” I wince. I let her say what she wants and that's what she went with?

Max gives me a small smirk, then looks back at Candice. “I have no plans to do that, Candice. You have my word.”

“Yeah, I’m sure Joyce gave her word too. Let me tell you now.” She points her finger at him and narrows her eyes. “You better take care of him or you and I will have a problem.” Max nods solemnly and gives me another smile. I give him an apologetic one, feeling bad that my guard dog of a sister was let off her leash.

Her eyes swing over to Caleb. He looks through the rearview mirror and smiles at her, his teeth flashing. “Yes, Candice?”

“I’ve heard about the shit you put him through over the years. If I hear more shit from you, we will also have a problem.”

Caleb chuckles and turns into the airport departure gate. He puts the car in park and turns around to look at her. “I like how protective you are of him. I feel the same way. I won’t hurt him. I like having him around. He’s good for me, so I want to be good to him.”

If I smile any harder, my face might get stuck like this. I would never have expected that from him. After working with him for years, not knowing he even had feelings, it’s always a shock that he’s so honest with them. Especially when it concerns me. I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it.

We get out of the car and Max unloads our bags and puts them on a trolley. Candice went a little overboard, packing two suitcases and a carry-on for a five-day trip. I shake my head, but don’t comment. We’ve never been on a cruise, so we don’t know what to expect. I don’t blame her for being a little overzealous.

Caleb pulls me into his arms, softly grips my face with one hand and kisses me long and deep. I lean into him, not able to get enough. His firm hand on my back pulls me close to him, as close as I can be as he licks into my mouth gently. He nips my bottom lip gently when he pulls away from me. He rubs my cheek gently and puts his forehead on mine. “I hope you and Candice enjoy yourselves. Bring me back a souvenir, yeah?”

I nod against him. I step out of his arms and make my way over to Max. He opens his arms wide for me and when I go to hug him, he picks me up and spins me around in a circle. A very surprised sound comes from my throat as I laugh at him. He lets me down and presses his lips lightly to mine. I deepen the kiss, knowing I won’t feel this for almost a week. While I know I’ll have fun, I can’t wait to be back with them.

Candice pulls me away, saying, “We’ll be gone five days, not five years. He’ll be back.” I’m glad to hear she’s joking. I let her untangle me and we walk inside the airport. I turn back to see them standing beside each other, looking a bit forlorn. I wave at them and they both reward me with a smile that I return. I can’t wait to get back.

  Chapter Twenty-Two

The cruise is amazing. I never thought I would be a fan of the open water, with no land in sight, but it’s beautiful. Even at night where you can’t see much of what lies around you, it’s beautiful in a petrifying sort of way. Makes you feel small when you think about how vast the ocean is.

Candice and I do everything that’s offered to us. We drink, we gamble, we go to the clubs aboard the ship. We talk to other guests, something that wouldn’t have happened months ago. It’s actually nice. We know we won’t see these people again, but it’s fun to get to know them anyway. One night, we even have dinner with an older couple we met in the casino. They’re sweet. Dorothy and Bill from Montana, married for thirty-five years. Two kids, both with families of their own. They give us some pointers on what to do when we get to Cozumel, since they’ve been to the city a few times before. We have a good time speaking with them, but it makes us sad. This is what we could have had if the Archers had grown old.
