Awesome. Looked like tonight’s Bible study meeting had descended into studying Beau squirm. “Hey, look at the time,” Beau said. “I’d better bounce—”
“You did not just say that,” Luc scoffed. “You’re living in the classiest city in North America, Nash. Live up to it, dude.”
Said the man calling him dude.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with you,” Jai said.
“I just bet you are,” Beau drawled.
“Trying new things is the spice of life,” Jai said. “Or so I’ve heard.”
Beau winced as his words from months ago came back to bite.
“Remember, friend,” Josiah said. “The world of the generous gets larger and larger, so just imagine what trusting God might lead you to.”
“The man’s right,” Jai said, his grin as wide as the St. Lawrence river. “Let’s see what God has in store for you.”
