In the cockpit, the pilots were fastening their seat belts.

The Captain was looking at the radar. “The weather service said that there are storms forming within seconds in the area that we are passing thru.”

The Co-Pilot became confused. “Within seconds?”, he asked.

“Yes, as in it is taking seconds for thunderstorms to form.”

Storm clouds started quickly forming. The clouds were very dark and gray while some were pitch black. The turbulence made the plane shake violently. A lot of people were holding on for life, some were praying, crying, and a couple people were having fun with it. Caitlyn looked out the window and saw nothing but constant lightning flashes illuminating the thunder clouds.

The Co-Pilot asked, “What should we do?”

“Increase the speed and get out this area.”

The pilots made the plane go faster. The turbulence finally ended, and they were finally in the clear.

“Well, you don’t see that every day”, exclaimed the Pilot.

  AT RIED DISTRICT.

Jolin, a beautiful Asian young lady, was in the gym practicing her martial arts training. Her friend, Lalaine, a beautiful Hispanic young lady, walked in in uniform.

  “Jolin, guess what?”, asked Lalaine.

  “What’s up Lalaine?”, Jolin answered.

Lalaine glared at her. “I said guess.”

  “You're pregnant?”

  “NO!”

Jolin thought a little harder. “You're going to try to get pregnant?”

“No. Okay stop guessing”, Lalaine responded in frustration.

  “Then what is it?”

Lalaine smiled. “I passed the Instructor's Test this morning and they are promoting me to Instructor. They're transferring me to the Unison District today just like you.”

Jolin became excited and gave Lalaine a big hug. “Yes, so both of us are going to Unison District. Thank God, I thought I was going to be there all alone.”

“Yup. Why are you in here training? Shouldn't you be getting packed? The flight leaves in like two hours.”

They heard a loud clap of thunder outside, so they ran to the hallway. A lot of people were gathered looking out the window. The rain was coming down in buckets.

“I thought it wasn't supposed rain today”, Lalaine said to herself.

Jolin responded, “Well hopefully they don’t cancel the flight because of the weather or else we won’t be leaving until tonight.”

  ON TANAMO CONTINENT

There was a tour group taking a tour through the jungle.

The Tour guide was cutting loose branches and leaves in front of them to make way on the path. “As you can see, our jungle is one of the world's most luxurious jungles on the planet.”

A tourist asked, “What about the reputation of it being the planet's most dangerous jungle?”

The Tour Guide answered, “It just depends on what part of the jungle you are in. There are a lot of dangerous creature lurking around, along with poisonous plants and insects. You must know what part of the jungle they reside in. Our tour path does not cross into any hostile territory. Now ladies and gentlemen, once we get up this hill, you will see the most spectacular view of Mt. Finine.”

They made it up the hill and the crowd were amazed by the view of Mt. Finine. Mt. Finine is a dead super volcano the size of Mt. Everest. The Tourist exited the bus and immediately began snapping photographs.

The Tour Guide waited for them to take pictures of the spectacular view of the volcano and jungle around it. He explained, “Mt. Finine is the world’s largest super volcano. Its last eruption was about three hundred thousand years ago; in which it was an extinction level event.”

“Is it dead?”, asked another Tourist.

The Tour Guide responded, “Yes, it is. We don’t have to worry about an eruption in our lifetime.”

A mini tremor shook the ground. The tourist and tour guide looked around in confusion. The tour guide looked at the base of the volcano and saw there was steam coming from it.

Deeper in the jungle, two forest rangers, John and Devon were walking.

John was asking Devon a series of crazy questions. “Another scenario, what if a huge bear pops out of nowhere and just started beating the shit out of you. Not even eating you, just beating you to a pulp.”

Devon looked at him as if he was crazy. “Where the hell do you come up with these things man?”

“I don’t know, they just pop up”, John replied.

Devon stopped. John asked, “What's wrong?”

  “Just listen”, Devon replied.

  “I don’t hear anything.”

“Exactly”, Devon stated. “The jungle isn’t silent like this. We would hear something. Birds, insects, animals running around, it's too damn quiet.”

“Wow, I wonder what is going on”, John said while looking around.

  UNISON CONTINENT

In the cafeteria, Markus and Josh was getting food from the buffet. Markus was piling food on his plate when he asked, “What type of mission do you think it is?”

“I don’t know”, Josh replied. “I'm betting it is either a search and rescue, or a treasure hunt?”

“You can’t bet on both; it must be only one thing you're betting on”, Markus responded while taking a bite of fried chicken.

  “Fine, I bet it's a treasure hunt.”

“And I bet it is a search and rescue”.

Josh looked at Markus and smile, “How much?”, Josh asked.

Markus realized he had a bet. He smirked and said, “twenty dollars.”

  “You're on.”

When they sat at a table a nearby television was tuned to the local news. It was a weather report. Josh saw the size of the hurricane and yelled, “holy shit, look at the size of that storm”!

“Turn up the T.V.”, Markus added.

Someone turned up volume on the T.V. The reporter on the television showing satellite images of the storm. “This massive storm developed in just an hour. Storms with this intensity usually take about two days to get to a category five Hurricane. Hurricane Heather is now headed towards the northeast area of Monochello Continent. Everyone on Fort City, and all towns and villages in the surrounding areas are ordered to evacuate the area immediately before the storm hits.”

While they we’re watching the news, a group of students were talking loudly. Markus threw his biscuit at them. As they looked around to see who had thrown the biscuit, Markus stood up and shouted, “Hey shut up, we are trying to watch this because we're the ones that will have to do search and rescue when the shit hits the fan.”

Two Security Guards walked up to Markus and Josh and said, “The Headmaster would like to speak with you in his office. Could you please follow us?”

Markus and Josh looked at each other in confusion. As they were walking to the office, they were trying to figure out why they were being called.

As they were walking, Josh whispered to Markus, “what did you do this time?”

Markus shrugged his shoulders, “I didn't do anything, what did you do Josh?”

  “Nothing.”

“Did you sleep with his sister again?”, Markus asked.

Josh chuckled, “No. Did you kill another one of his dogs?”

“No, and the last dog I killed of his was by accident.”

“Yeah right”, Josh said in skepticism.

“Should we just make a run for it and say these guys never came to us?”, suggested Markus.

“We'd have to head straight for the temple”, Josh responded.

  “Let’s go then.”

Markus and Josh started running, but the guards were hot on their heels!

  OUTSIDE GINIA.

In the Outer World Observation Center (O.W.O.C), Captain Jenkins walked in the headquarters and met up with Adam and Lloyd.

Jenkins stated, “It's been three hours and we got a category five hurricane that appeared out of nowhere in Ried Continent. How the hell did that happen? You think it has anything to do with the rising heat due to the ozone.”

“It's hard to say”, Adam responded. “But we have a big issue with the hurricane. Besides the winds being clocked at two hundred fifty miles per hour and it is producing a shit ton of tornadoes, you need to look at one thing that makes this catastrophic.”

Lloyd pulled up a satellite image of the hurricane.

Jenkins studied the images, “It’s already completely out of Ried Continent and headed towards Monochello Continent.”

“You see the areas that are neon green?”, Lloyd asked.

“Yes, there's a lot of them”, Jenkins responded.

“The hurricane formed over the most polluted area of Ried Continent. Those green spots are areas of highly concentrated hydrofluoric and sulfuric acid.”

Jenkins sighed and said, “How did I know this storm would acid rain spots?”

Lloyd informed Jenkins, “There are a lot of reports stating the rain was eating anything metal before communications cut off.”

“Hopefully a lot of people evacuated like they were told”, said Jenkins.

“I DOUBT IT, NO MATTER how many times we order an evacuation there are still people that don’t listen. Then we end up having to either save them or add them to the body count.

They looked out the window to view the storm on Ginia.

Jenkins advised, “They called a World Conference, so I must get to Ginia. It shouldn’t last long. You two hold down the fort while I am gone.”

  “No problem Captain”, Adam responded.

“Anything else happens, let me know so I can let the World Leaders know”, Jenkins said while walking off.

  BACK ON GINIA

In the middle of the ocean between Ried Continent and Monochello Continent. A group of hurricane hunters were flying towards the hurricane in a huge plane. There were two pilots and three meteorologists inside the plane. The head pilot was named Ron, and the co-pilots name is Larry. The three meteorologists were Matt, Damon, and Patrick.

Ron was looking at the radar and advised, “We will be approaching the storm in one minute.”

The plane looked like it was headed into a huge cloud wall. The clouds were pitch black with lightning flashing constantly. As the plane made it into the storm, the turbulence became heavy.

“Winds are being clocked at two hundred-fifty miles per hour”, advised Matt.

  “Wow”, Patrick responded.

Ron and Larry could not see anything in front of them. “I can’t see anything in front”, informed Ron.

It looked like they were driving at night with no lights on. The lightning illuminated the clouds and rain around them. Then they made it to an area where the clouds turned neon green.

Larry looked around outside, “Hey guys look at this”, he said.

The glass and metal of the plane started dissolving instantly.

Ron became frantic. “What the hell is going on?”

They entered an area of acid rain. The pilots and meteorologists on the plane were killed instantly when the downpour of acid rain dissolved their flesh. The plane crashed near a large group of cargo ships that were getting pummeled by the storm. Large hundred feet tall waves and high wind gusts were tossing all the crates in the ocean. There were also about twenty waterspouts that looked like F5 tornadoes, tossing around the ships and crates.

About 5 miles from the group, another large cargo ship was handling the storm by itself. The captain was on the main deck.

The Captain watched everything going on around him. “This is bullshit”, the Captain complained. “The weather authority said there was supposed to be clear skies all the way. Where the hell did this hurricane come from? They didn't even warn us.”

The rain stopped as they entered a neon green area. The clouds in the sky were a bright glowing neon green. When the rain returned, it started eating anything metal it encountered. The metal all around them quickly dissolved and they were exposed to the rain. The crew screamed in agony as the rain dissolved their flesh.

CHAPTER 3: The World Conference 1

  UNISON CONTINENT

At the Unison City Conference Center. All the Presidents of each continent, all head scientist, all Headmasters of each District, and all the heads of Outer World Observation Center, including Captain Jenkins attended. They all had their own podiums to stand at if they need to talk or ask questions. The world President, Mack Devoy, was in the center.

Mack Devoy took his podium to address the crowd. “Good Morning ladies and gentlemen, it appears that we have a few issues going on around the planet that needs to be addressed. First, let’s start with Hurricane Heather. Can I have meteorologist Nate Benson to give us an update.”

Nate Benson stepped to his podium. “Thank you, Mack Devoy. As you know Hurricane Heather formed over Reid Continent in most polluted area. Causing the storm to have spots of acidic rain. The cause on why this storm formed so fast is still being analyzed. Nothing has ever happened like this and we were totally unprepared. Right now, the storm is in the middle of the Ried Ocean and is expected to make landfall on Northeast Monochello Continent. Fort City, and many of the towns and villages are doing a good job on making sure everyone is evacuated before the storm hits. The wind is now being clocked at three hundred miles per hour. We had to send in a bunch of Photo Probes to get information because a lost a team in the storm earlier today. We will continue to give updates as this storm continues its path. Thank you”

Mack retook his podium as Nate walked back to his seat. “Thank you, Nate Benson. Now can I have Geologists Bryson Jones to update us?”

Bryson Jones stepped to his podium. “Thank you, Mack Devoy. There have been reports all around the planet of mini quakes shaking cities, towns, and villages. The quakes seem to be getting stronger and more frequent as well. This has taken us by surprise, and we have everyone available working on finding out why this is happening. What makes this event scary is the fact that we have been seeing activity coming from all volcanoes around the world, including the dead and dormant ones, especially Mt. Finine. Ladies and Gentlemen, I don’t have to tell you why we need to keep an eye on these volcanoes. We have many members of my team analyzing the volcanoes to see if an eruption is possible. We will keep you informed as well. Thank you.”

Mack Devoy retook his podium. “Thank you, Bryson. May I have Captain Leroy Jenkins of the Outer World Observation Center?”

Jenkins walks to his podium. “Thank you, Mack Devoy. We have seen major fluctuations in the air temperature and the core temperature since this morning. The ozone over Industry City is now seventy percent gone which is causing the huge heat wave over the area. As far as if that was a factor for the hurricane is yet to be determined. This took us by surprise also and we don’t have many answers as well. I'm sorry. We just don’t know why our planet is acting crazy right now.”

Jenkins sat back down, and Mack retook his podium. “Thank you, ladies and gentlemen. We will hold another conference tomorrow night and I hope we have more answers.”

Mack got up and walked off with his bodyguards. Headmaster Johnson was looking at Unison District Headmaster Sean Peeples.

“Look at that bastard” Johnson complained. “Yeah, his army may be better than mine, but once we get those diamonds, he will be on his knees begging for me to accept his surrender and I will make him suffer.”

Headmaster Peeples was with General Larus. Headmaster Peeples looked over at Headmaster Johnson and glared at him. “Why is that frigging idiot staring at me over there?”

General Larus answered, “He's still bitter about the surrender. Especially since he will have to announce the peace treaty at the conference in Monochello City tomorrow.”

Headmaster Peebles chuckled. “Well, he should have thought about that before he killed many innocent people on a power trip. Guys like him don’t deserve to be headmaster of any district. Guys like him don’t deserve to be a leader of anything. We did a good thing interfering with his civil war. So, if he’s bitter he can bring his punk ass over and I’ll whoop his ass personally again.”

General Larus laughed. “That would be funny.”

CHAPTER 4: THE TEMPLE OF NATURE

Markus and Josh met up with the rest of their team at the riverbank in front of the temple. Joe, Mya, Dennis, Joel, and Kersi were waiting. Joel was petting a huge tarantula, Joe was skipping rocks in the river, Mya was brushing Kersi's hair, and Dennis was putting together his gun. Markus and Josh walked up

  “What's up Team?”, greeted Markus.

Joel had a tarantula in his hand. “You see this huge spider I found by the river?”, Joel said while showing Markus his spider.

Josh looked at Joel in disgust and said, “And yet you're petting it and you don’t know if it’s poisonous or not.”

“It hasn't bitten me yet”, Joel responded.

Josh replied, “And what's your back up plan if it bites you?”

Joel chuckled and glared at Josh, “It won’t bite me”.

Joel started screaming, “oh my god it bit me”.

Joel took off running to the temple as the others watched him.

Mya became confused. “What the hell just happened?”

Markus answered, “If I heard him correctly, he got bitten by the spider”.

Mya saw the spider and shot it three times. “He won’t be biting us.”

Joe chuckled and said, “Joel is always getting bit by something.”

Dennis nodded his head in agreement and added, “and he keeps surviving the bites.”

Josh went to the spider. “Mya, why the hell did you shoot the spider in its natural habitat?” It is frowned upon to kill an insect in its natural habitat according to the Temple of Nature.

Mya shrugged her shoulder, “I panicked”, she said in frustration.

Markus decided to make the situation worse and joked, “Ohhhhh, especially on Temple grounds.”

Mya looked at Markus and Josh and stated, “They won’t know, unless one of you is going to be a little snitch and tell on me.”

Markus gave her a bewildered look and mentioned, “They will know. They always know stuff like that.”
