5 “Midian’s Heroes”

  Eonidis DeQuar is the Master-at-Arms, the leader of the Guardians’ Order of the Queen’s Guard, the Elite special forces of the Guardians and Watchers. He is also commander of The Queen’s Heart, one of the Guardian’s best war ships. After surviving the brutal Zohor attack, DeQuar is ordered to take command of the Eternity, the greatest ship in the Guardian Fleet and to seek out Major Jack Benedict.

  6 “Into The Blue Mountains”

  Fleeing the Zohor attack, Acshah Young and Isaiah Lyrin head into the Blue Mountains, leading the other survivors of the initial bombardment. There, Acshah begins to realize that Isaiah is not at all what he appears to be.

  --Acshah and Isaiah flee with the other survivors into the mountains

  --Isaiah breaks off from the group to lead the Zohor away

  --The Zohor ambush the survivors.

  7 “The Future Past”

  Adrift in space, Major Jack Benedict waits for death. But when he is rescued by an alien patrol, he discovers just how strange the universe is.

  --Benedict watches his systems fail when the Eternity appears.

  --Benedict is greeted by Eonidis DeQuar.

  --Benedict learns he’s been away for over 1000 years.

  8 “Waking the Queen”

  With Midian under attack by the ancient enemy known as the Zohor and the revelation that the League of Guardians is real and not religious fable, Acshah Young finds herself on a quest with the Guardian known as Isaiah Lyrin to find and awaken the Queen of Light and Sorrow from her thousand-year slumber.

  --Isaiah tells Acshah that she would have been selected to be a Guardian, herself.

  --A Zohor soldier locates and attacks them.

  --Acshah and Isaiah are separated.

  --Acshah discovers the Queen’s Cave as the Zohor pursues her.

  9 “The Return of the Queen”

  Allison McQuire was made into a superhuman by the long-lost Ship. Following the arrival of the last survivors of the Human Race on Midian, Allison vanished into the Blue Mountains with the Nai’Marak. After training to use her powers over the course of centuries, Allison went to sleep for over a thousand years.

  --Allison and Juan begin learning about their powers and abilities

  --As Allison’s pregnancy progresses, Gabrielle begins communicating with her.

  --When Gabrielle is born, Juan leaves the Blue Mountains with her, on the Nai’Marak’s orders.

  --In 1325, Allison wipes out the Zohor invaders.

  10 “Second Wave”

  Undaunted by the defeat of the vanguard force sent to Midian, a second, larger force is sent by the Zohor to wipe out life on the planet. Meanwhile, with the return of Allison McQuire, the Guardians and Watchers have revealed themselves and are working openly to gather the Midianites together to fight against the Zohor invasion.

  --Religious fervour sweeps Midian following Allison’s return.

  --The Guardians move openly to bolster their defences.

  --Acshah is taken to Thalia and initiated into the Guardians.

  --Huge Zohor attack fleet spotted

  --Even with Allison, it looks hopeless.

  RECLAIMING THE FUTURE

  11 “Hero Out of Time”

  Major Jack Benedict is rescued from the wreckage of the Esperanza, but he awakens into a world of nightmarish confusion. Eonidis DeQuar tries to acclimatize Benedict to his new reality and Benedict learns that he, like Allison, is now central to a great Prophecy and a terrible destiny.

  --Benedict is given a tour of the Eternity.

  --Benedict is confused and terrified when he is greeted by the crew as some kind of hero and idol.

  --DeQuar explains to Benedict about the war and Benedict’s “future” death in their past.

  --Benedict refuses to accept this destiny.

  12 “The Rise of Champions”

  Grandmaster of the League of Guardians and Watchers, Jack Benedict has travelled back in time aboard the Eternity to save Mankind and fight the Aeons War. A hero of the war, the Grandmaster has already fought to the war’s end and the defeat of the Nimbus. Now he has come to Midian to begin the war and save Mankind.

  --Rebuilding of Midian & the Guardians begins.

  --Intro to Zaiola Kiernan, an actress-turned-advocate from New Mecca / New Jerusalem.

  --Civil unrest begins is fostered in New Mecca / New Jerusalem.

  13 “The Fate of Heroes”

  The Eternity arrives at Midian and Major Benedict is taken before the Queen of Light and Sorrow. And the woman Benedict once knew as Allison McQuire begins to reveal all that has happened—and all that Benedict is destined to live through and die.

  --The Eternity docks at Thalia Station.

  --Benedict is astounded by the level of development on Midian.

  --Benedict is taken to see Allison McQuire.

  --Allison tells Benedict about his history.

  14 “Old Problems in a New Time”

  With Allison McQuire on the Throne of Light and Sorrow and the Grandmaster rallying an army, sectarian violence rears up like an old demon from Humanity’s past. Outright war seems ready to break out, as the Northlands side with Terra Nova while New Mecca / New Jerusalem and the Southrange Territories of Terra Nova unite and rebel.

  --A terrorist attack happens at the Temple in Landing.

  --As Midian’s peace keeping forces and the Guardians move in, fighting breaks out in New Mecca / New Jerusalem.

  --The Southrange erupts in violence and refuses to recognize the Allison’s authority.

  --Zaiola Kiernan rallies support for the isolationist cause

  --An incursion by the Guardians into the Southrange Territories ends in disaster and bloodshed.

  15 “Worth Fighting For”

  Although he is fated to fight to the end of the Aeons War before returning to its beginning to fight and die, Jack Benedict is loath to take up arms for the sake of Mankind’s descendants on Midian. He could just as easily return to his own time and rescue the Shipwrecked evacuees. But when he is taken by Isaiah Lyrin on a tour of Landing’s neighbourhoods, he finds his sense of duty returning.

  --DeQuar takes Benedict before the Queen.

  --Allison requests that Isaiah Lyrin give Benedict a tour of Landing.

  --Isaiah and Benedict leave the Temple Complex by car.

  --Benedict is astounded how much like Earth Landing is.

  --Isaiah introduces Benedict to his wife, Acshah, and their son, Jacob.

  --Upon returning to the Temple Complex, Benedict is confronted by Zaiola Kiernan.

  16 “Retaliation”

  Zaiola Kiernan is an actress-turned-activist who became the populist symbol for the Separatist Movement of the Southland Range and New Mecca / New Jerusalem. After the Southlands Massacre, Zaiola feels she must do more than rally the people; she decides to lead a strike team against the Temple of Light and Sorrow.

  --Zaiola Kiernan puts together her team and prepares for the attack.

  --Eonidis DeQuar takes a group of Guardian cadets for the traditional Blessing by the Queen

  --Zaiola’s cell arrives in Landing.

  --Acshah Young is given a private audience with Allison McQuire

  --Grandmaster Benedict inspects the troops presented to the Queen.

  --Zaiola’s cell attacks as the blessing ceremony begins.

  17 “Taking Up the Sword”

  Jack Benedict has accepted his duty to fight for Midian. Though he refuses to accept the inevitability of his death in the so-called Great Battle, he has decided to lead Midian’s armies and save Mankind’s descendants.

  --Benedict announces his decision to Eonidis DeQuar and to Allison McQuire.

  --Benedict’s “return” is announced to the people of Midian.

  --Zaiola tells Benedict more about their past.

  --Benedict is given command of the Eternity and selects his crew.

  --Benedict is implanted for his Advanced Infantry Suit.

  18 “A Cause to Die For and a Reason to Live”

  As the Separatist AIS teams lay siege to the Temple Complex, the Guardians rally a defence from within. But the newly-trained and inexperienced Cadet Guardians are ill-prepared for the battle, despite the presence of their Grandmaster and Master-At-Arms.

  --The Temple Entrance collapses during the initial attack.

  --Zaiola’s forces close in as the Guardians fortify their position.

  --DeQuar is severely wounded and Allison is knocked unconscious during a second-wave missile barrage.

  --Benedict rallies the young Guardians

  --The Separatists breach the Inner Temple.

  --Benedict shoots and fatally wounds Zaiola Kiernan before he recognizes her.

  19 “The War Machines”

  “Most of the battles against the Zohor are naval; ship-to-ship,” Master-At-Arms DeQuar explains to Benedict, “But sometimes, direct combat is necessary.” Jack Benedict’s first mission against the Zohor will be as part of an incursion team into a Zohor stronghold.

  --Zohor Swarm guards the planet on which the stronghold is based.

  --“Blast and Drop” tactic explained.

  --The Eternity begins its assault against the Zohor stronghold.

  20 “A Victory Over Hearts and Minds”

  The siege at the Temple of Light and Sorrow has ended. The casualties on both sides high. Allison regains consciousness and uses her powers to heal the wounded and the dying, now, as ever, Guardians and Separatists, both.

  --Zaiola Kiernan lies dying in Benedict’s arms when Allison heals her.

  --Revived and healed, Zaiola and her team surrender, acknowledging Allison as the true Queen of Light and Sorrow.

  --Allison pardons the prisoners, who swear their loyalty to her.

  --Healed and released, Zaiola makes a very public return to New Mecca / New Jerusalem on a mission of peace.

  --When Zaiola is arrested and put on trial for crimes against the Separatist movement, Allison takes measures to secure her release, and appeal to the people of New Mecca / New Jerusalem.

  THE AEONS WAR

  21 “In Defence of the Realm”

  Grandmaster Jack Benedict prepares the crew of the Eternity and consolidates the rest of the Guardian Fleet for a mission to strike against the Zohor and move the front lines away from Midian.

  --Because of the use of time-space combat, a single battle against the Zohor can take years to fight.

  --Benedict meets with Zaiola upon her return from New Mecca.

  --Eonidis DeQuar is appointed as Benedict’s General Officer of the Militia.

  --As the Guardian fleet assembles, DeQuar takes Benedict on a tour of the Eternity.

  --The use of “Tactical time travel manoeuvring” is explained.

  --The Queen’s Fleet gathers and sets sail, fighting first to rid the System of Zohor and then to establish a beachhead from which to mount their attacks against the Zohor.

  --After clearing the System and System Sector itself, the Fleet discovers just how extensive the Zohor deployment is.

  --An immense battle commences, as “reinforcements” arrive from across time and space to fight the battle.

  22 “Hunt for Victory”

  Following the AIS assault on the Zohor stronghold world, the crew of the Eternity have captured information vital to the war effort: the location of a central distribution station from which all the Zohor ships are controlled. An attack against that station would yield both new information on how to fight the Zohor, as well as deal a massive loss of ships to their fleet. However, as the Eternity makes its way back to the fleet to deliver the information, a Zohor ship pursues them.

  --DeQuar and Benedict discuss the stolen data.

  --“Inside” the Stalker, the Zohor ship.

  --The Eternity flies deeper into Zohor space.

  --Cat-and-mouse chase through a massive nebula

  --The Eternity finally engages the Stalker in battle.

  --The Stalker is destroyed, but an already battle-weary Eternity and its crew now limp forward as they make their way to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet.

  23 “War in the Fourth Dimension”

  Even with the Grandmaster’s experience, the use of time travel in warfare to multiply the number of ships fighting, as well as to “predict” the next advance in the battle by fighting it from end-to-beginning by relaying orders from the “oldest” ship to the “next oldest”, the battle against the Zohor is daunting and complicated. Allison McQuire, herself, must now lend her considerable power to the cause.

  --The Ten Year Battle is fought “in summary”

  --After the battle, DeQuar and Benedict meet with the Queen.

  --Allison orchestrates a “multi-temporal” defence strategy for Midian.

  --The Guardian Fleet leaves to expand their “Zohor-Free” territories.

  --Allison encounters the Zohor, who have begun adapting anti-time manipulation defences.

  --As the Zohor seem on the verge of overwhelming the Guardian fleet, Allison reveals the full extent of her power.

  --In the aftermath of the battle, Allison’s long-lost daughter appears.

  24 “Soldier of God”

  After his brush with death, Benedict realizes that he is all but invincible as he is destined to travel into the past and begin the Aeon’s War: He begins to take greater and greater risks—both with his own life and with others’ lives—in his fight against the Zohor.

  --Benedict and Zaiola draw closer together.

  --During a Zohor swarm attack, Benedict goes berserk.

  --After the battle, the Eternity rejoins the Fleet.

  --With the information acquired from the Zohor stronghold, the Fleet begins its big push

  25 “Family Reunion”

  Centuries ago, when Allison McQuire and Juan Carlos Rejas went into the Blue Mountains to train with the Nai’Marak, they had a child together. As the baby grew inside of her, they realized the child would grow to become far more powerful than even Allison. For their own safety, the Nai’Marak blocked the psychic bond between mother and child, and shortly after she was born, Gabrielle was sent away by the Nai’Marak with Juan Carlos Rejas. Now, over a thousand years later, Gabrielle has returned, conjoined with the Zohor.

  --Flashback to Juan & Allison in the Blue Mountains with the Nai’Marak and Gabrielle

  --When Allison sees her daughter cybernetically fused with the Zohor war machine, she goes berserk.

  --“Battle of Gods” between them.

  --Gabrielle escapes.

  --“Dead” Zohor soldier drone taken aboard for study.

  --Benedict and DeQuar discuss using Gabrielle as a weapon, by deliberately infecting her with the Nimbus.

  --The Zohor drone repairs itself and goes on a rampage.

  --Allison dispatches the drone and learns of Benedict’s and DeQuar’s plans.

  --Benedict explains that, relative to him, this has already come to pass.

  26 “The Living Wall”

  The Guardian Fleet has spent years fighting its way through Zohor-controlled space, using time-travel battles. At long last they have reached their destination: the Zohor central distribution station. But before they can attack the station, they must first deal with its defences.

  --Scout ships return with telemetry on the station.

  --Benedict, DeQuar and Allison plan for the attack.

  --Allison senses her daughter’s presence.

  --“You know your destiny, but I don’t know mine” conversation between Benedict and Zaiola.
