Abe Morrow listened to the two-way radio as the men reported their status, his brow furrowing with anger with each passing word.

  “Two men lost, one missing. Girl is still on the run. She jumped into the river and was picked up by unknowns in a boat. Last seen heading downstream at a high rate of speed.”

  Morrow reached for another radio at the far end of his desk.

  “Get the helicopter fueled,” he said calmly. “Pick up the teams along the way, then find the boat that picked up the girl. When you find them, kill them all.”
