  Extremely busy dealing with the steadily mounting complexities of the civil war, the two presidents wearily accepted the report at face value and moved on to more pressing matters.

  Demon worshippers, alive and well, in these enlightened days? That was just incredible. They certainly hoped the problem wasn't beyond the abilities of a butler from Massachusetts, or a South Carolina gandydancer.
