“Great! That’s very brave! That’s the Battle for Domination spirit! Why did you change your mind?”
Ella’s face haunts me. I want to see her, meet her again. I belong next to her.
“Paul? Are you OK? Why do you want to stay?”
I think for a long time. Then I find a reply that I think sounds really cool. I announce, “It’s my secret . . . And you haven’t seen anything yet! You haven’t heard the last from me!”
A round of applause.
“I think you just won some more fans, Paul.”
The presenter then suddenly leaves the camera’s view, showing me the enormous crowd going wild.
“You’ve made your choice, Paul! Don’t disappoint us. We’re counting on YOU!”
