Hacker Auction: Bodyguard Romance, page 12
With the added distraction, Mia snuck around the side and pushed the side door to the van open.
Elise lunged toward Rachelle and shoved the needle in her neck and pushed the plunger. Two shots rang out, but I charged the van. Mia yanked Elise out, and I pulled Rachelle into my arms.
Paxton climbed in next to me. “I need to look at you.” My vision faded for a second. “Save her.”
“I’m more worried about you.” That’s when I looked down and noticed the blood on my arm.
“It’s nothing.”
“He’s in shock. Let’s get them both inside.”
Paxton pried Rachelle from my arms, and someone else helped me out of the van. Mia had both Milton and Elise subdued on the ground.
“I don’t have a pulse.” Paxton took off running with Rachelle in his arms and my world went dark.
CHAPTER 13
Rachelle
The slight buzz in my ears made it impossible to hear the people in the room. I stretched my arms and legs, and memories of the man at the bar came rushing back. He wouldn’t take no for an answer, but it was the prick to my neck that made everything fuzzy.
There was a woman. I tried to remember, but my mind was fuzzy the harder I thought. A large hand gripped mine, pulling me from my thoughts. The voices were louder, but I still had a hard time making out the conversation.
The bed dipped next to me, and a soft skin pushed against my arm. Sage’s baby shampoo filled my nose. My little boy needed me, and I couldn’t spend my day in bed. I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. The room was dark. Next to the bed sat a figure, but even in the low light, I knew it was Wes. By the door was a small figure who walked out the door.
“Wes.” My voice barely came out.
He leaned forward and pressed a kiss to my forehead and one to the top of Sage’s little bald head.
His eyes searched mine for a second. “I’m going to go get the doc.”
I tried to lift my arm and catch his wrist before he got off the bed, but my arm felt like cinder blocks were tied to each wrist. “Don’t go.”
His head swiveled from the door to me and back. “Doc should really check you out.”
“I’ll survive ten minutes without a doctor. Can you tell me where I’m at?”
He let out an aggravated sigh, “You’re in one of the private rooms at Club Rose. You were drugged. I’m not even going to talk about the fact you went to a BDSM club alone.” He paced next to the bed. “Rachelle, what were you thinking.”
Sage squirmed, and I tried to pull him closer, but I still couldn’t move my arm more than a couple of inches. The soft skin of my son helped me relax a little. I liked how Wes hadn’t removed his hand from Sage, in case I moved.
The night at the club was still a blur. I wanted to remember exactly what happened, but the night wouldn’t come back fully. Then it dawned on me my little boy was at a BDSM club. “You had my parents come to a BDSM club? I’m not sure I’ll ever walk out of this room. You can lock the door. Do you think Uber will deliver food?”
“Don’t be so dramatic. Your mom is more adventurous than you would think. I’m pretty sure they are going to sign up for a membership.”
I had to have woken in a different dimension. One where it was okay to speak about my parent's sex life. Because the dimension I was in a day ago, that kind of conversation was off-limits. “Okay, but I’m not sure this is an appropriate place for Sage.”
Wes climbed on the bed and pulled my little guy from my arms and held him to his chest. “But Sage found a really nice set of anal beads to play with. I think you have a sadist on your hands. I’m not sure I would ever pick a size that big.”
“Wes…”
“Remember you can’t touch that arm,” Wes moved Sage’s arm. I squinted and noticed the bandage around his bicep.
“You still haven’t told me what happened. We are also going to swing back to the fact you gave my sweet boy anal beads.”
Sage fussed, and I wanted to reach out for him, but my arms still wouldn’t move. I could feel the sensation of the blanket, so I knew the drugs were still in my system, and I shouldn’t panic yet.
“I’m going to run this guy out to your mom. Grab the doctor and a glass of water for you.”
“You still haven’t answered me.”
And he didn’t as he walked out the door, leaving me alone in the private room. A chill washed over me as I worried someone might be lurking in the corner. My fingers tingled, and I attempted to move my hands against the bed to lift myself up.
They moved, and I worked my way up until my back rested against the leather headboard. The black silk sheets made it easy to move against. My corset was replaced by a white shirt. My bare ass slid across the sheets easily.
The door opened, and a crowd of people walked into my room, including my father. Kaeden flicked the light switch on, and the room lit up. To the far left of the door was a medical table. On the wall was every medical instrument I could think of, including an enema bag. My father stopped and looked around the room.
“You did well on this room, Kaeden.”
“Jesus, can the world open up and swallow me whole.” I sighed.
Dad smiled over at me. “Your mom and I have a really active sex life.”
“Nope. We are not having this conversation. I already have to deal with Wes for giving my boy anal beads. He’s going to be scared for life. Not sure why anyone thought this place was appropriate for him.”
Wes walked over to the bed and sat down next to me and pressed a straw to my lips. “Everyone in this room cares about you. Your mom knew you would want to see Sage when you woke up. Club Sanctorum has a daycare attached.”
Kaeden walked further into the room. “I think my patient needs some privacy while I do a quick exam.”
My dad leaned over Wes and placed a quick kiss on my cheek. “Your brother is here also, but I kept him in the main room. He wants to see you.”
“You sure we shouldn’t invite Grandma and Grandpa here also. I bet Aunt Rebecca would love this place.”
Dad chuckled, “maybe next time you decide to get kidnapped and drugged, we can send out an alert for the rest of the family.”
He turned and left the room, leaving me with Kaeden and Wes.
“I think I need a few minutes alone with my patient.”
Wes shook his head. “Not going anywhere.”
Kaeden looked at me, ignoring the alpha male in the room. “Do you want him here? I can have someone throw him out.”
“He’s fine.”
“Okay, but I need you over there.” Kaeden pointed to the chair on the other side of the room.
Wes grumbled as he got off the bed and walked to the chair.
Kaeden pulled the stethoscope from around his neck. “Lift up your shirt so I can check your heartbeat and at the same time I also want to check for bruising.”
The corset that was removed was also my bra, so I had nothing on underneath this.
“Rachelle, I’m a doctor. Plus, if you come here more often, I’m going to see you naked. What happened here doesn’t leave the club. You are still my boss on Monday, but I’m your doctor now. Let me do my job. Or I might use the handcuffs on the bed to keep you tied up to make this go faster.” His eyes widened. “Holy shit. We do need to talk about adding handcuffs to the beds at the hospital. Remind me to discuss that on Monday. I’m sure my boss will agree.”
His joke broke the tension and I lifted my shirt over my head. “Funny. Your handcuff request will be denied. I have a feeling we would end up with even more staff having sex in various rooms.”
Kaeden pressed the cold stethoscope to my chest and had me take a deep breathe normally. “Lean forward.” I winced as his hand ran down my back. “You have a good bruise here, but nothing looks broken. I took a sample of your blood earlier and gave it to Agent Scarlet. She’ll be in touch in a few days for a statement.”
“Can I go home?”
“I would like you to stay here for the night. I’ll be here all night along with my brothers. Especially since that one refused to go to the hospital, I want him to stay too.”
“It was a flesh wound, and I hadn’t eaten,” Wes grumbled.
Kaeden rolled his eyes, “I want to check your blood pressure again in a few hours. I couldn’t get a pulse earlier.” I grabbed the shirt next to me and put it back on over my head. “Get some sleep,” Kaeden said as he left the room.
I was left with only Wes in the room. “Can I join you?”
Memories of the other woman next to him rushed back. No way I could ever compare to her or half of the women at the club. The extra weight I promised myself for years I would work to get rid of never happened. “Where is the woman you were with?”
“Are you jealous I was at the club with Agent Scarlet who by the way is with the FBI?”
I blinked a couple of times, focusing on what he said, Agent. “She wasn’t your date?”
Wes shook his head, “no, I was working. I didn’t expect to see you when I walked into the club. Or you in the back of the bar talking to Dr. Bauer for a good hour.”
Warmth washed over me, hearing that Wes was in return jealous of the psychologist. “You can’t be jealous of my shrink session. I met the man on a zoom call a week ago. He turned our conversation into a damn therapy session.”
“We seem to suck at this,” I sighed.
“Partially, it’s my fault.”
“No—”
“I was the one who wanted to do only one date. From the second I laid eyes on you backstage at the auction, I knew I was kidding myself. Sam said when the one person I want walks into my world, she will knock it upside down. The two weeks you were with me were hard. Every night I wanted to climb in bed with you, but you deserve better.”
“Here is the thing. I’m the only one who can decide what I deserve. No way should you have a choice in what I decide. Wes, you walked into my office, flipped your own rules on their head, and expected me to accept it a second later. I’m not used to this world, and you think I should accept that in a second also.”
Wes shifted on the bed, so my back rested against his side. “You’re dead right. I’ve fucked this up all along. Rachelle, will you give me another chance and go on another date with me?”
Nothing good in life happened without a leap of faith. I could seal my heart up and not give him a chance, but I didn’t want anyone else. “Yes, but you need to communicate with me when you need to do scenes with a woman for demonstration or work.”
Wes pressed a soft kiss to the side of my head. I leaned into him more, loving his arm around my body. “Deal, but next time I have to do a demo, you will be the one I do it on.”
My fingers trailed to the bottom of his shirt. “Should we try a demo now….”
“Jesus, woman, you were drugged.”
I wanted to feel him against my skin. “I need you.”
He winced as he tore his shirt off.
“Shit. You’re hurt. The second you get around me, I lose my damn mind and forget everything. We still haven’t talked about what happened.”
“My ex Elise and my former teammate Milton have smuggled woman out of this club for a while. Normally they are new club members. Then they sold them on the black market. Elise used the hospital as her way to look over the charts. She was the one who deleted the information out of the files. They didn’t expect you to be at the club tonight. She wanted to get payback for you getting her fired. The real target was Roxy. You saved her from getting kidnapped again.”
My brain tried wrapping itself around the story Wes laid out. He never mentioned Elise was his ex. I faintly remember her acting as if she knew him at the hospital, but I was so caught up in the fact I was detained I hadn’t paid attention. “Wow.”
He leaned forward, “yes. Milton spilled everything to the FBI agent, Scarlet. The FBI is going to take down the trafficking ring.” Wes glanced up at the wall. “Tonight. Sophie and Zane are going to stay with you while I assist.”
My hand brushed against the white bandage. “You think it’s safe for you to go?”
Wes ran a hand over his head. “I have to. I’m here on a mission for Shialia. There is a little girl who is missing her mother, and I’m pretty sure she is on that container. With the information from Milton and Senator Smith, I think I might get her back.”
He would leave then. Guilt washed over me for the fact a woman was about to be saved, but it would mean I was losing Wes. “You need to go. I’ll be fine. Nobody is left to come after me. Dad said Calvin is out of state.”
“I still want someone to watch over you. But I want to know why you look like I stole your puppy just now.”
I took a deep breath. “I want one last time with you.”
Wes's head snapped back, “last time? I thought we just discussed giving this a try.”
“But you’ll head back to Shaila when the mission is over.”
“I’m not. I might have to take her on the plane back there, but you can come with me if I do, I’m staying here long term. My place is at Blackwood Security.”
“Kiss me.”
Wes tossed his shirt to the side and tugged at the bottom of the long shirt I had on. “When I saw you walk around with Bentley. It took everything in me not to come over, grab your hand and take you to the spanking bench.”
“You could now.”
His eyes blazed as they connected with mine. “I would rather taste you.”
Wes climbed between my legs and put them over his shoulder. His soft kiss up the inside of my leg was so slow. “I need you.”
Instead of answering, Wes swiped his tongue along my folds and took a deep breath. I could feel my cheeks turn red. “God, you smell so good.”
“You know if you talked less, we could get to the good part.”
His chuckle vibrated against my clit. “But this is the good part.” He ran his fingers along my fold and further down until he circled a spot I’d never even considered. “Have you had anal?”
“No.”
Wes left the bed, leaving me alone and needy. He opened a drawer under the wall full of medical equipment and took out a pink butt plug. Before he returned, he grabbed a bottle of lube from the top of the dresser.
“Wes?”
He put my legs back over his shoulder and tilted my hips enough for him to put a pillow below me. “Do you trust me?”
“Yes, but…”
“If you don’t like something, say stop.”
I took a deep breath, “yes, Sir.”
“Fuck woman.”
He snapped open the bottle of lube and put it on the plug. Before he closed the bottle, he put some on his finger and traced his finger over my rosebud. “Relax.” His lips went back to my clit and my body melted into the bed. Then he pressed into me. I expected it to hurt, but I let out a moan, and I could feel his lips smile against my skin.
Wes climbed up my body and placed a kiss on my lips. “I want you to ride me.”
“I’m not good at that.” Calvin had told me so a million times.
Wes rolled on his side and tugged me over. My knees went on each side of his leg. “Condom.”
“On the table.”
I reached over and grabbed the foil wrapper and opened it with my teeth. I’d never put a condom on a man before, but I wanted to try.
I held him with one hand as I slid the condom down his cock. Wes’s eyes were squeezed shut. “Your hands feel so good.”
“Now what.”
Wes’s lip ticked up. “Sit up.” I pressed my hands against his chest and rose a little, and when I came back down, he held his cock in place. He felt even larger than the last time we had sex. I slid down and groaned when I lifted my hips. My inner muscles clamped down around him.
Wes cupped my breasts in his hands. Each time his finger traced over my nipple, I came down harder.
“You look sexy as fuck riding me.”
His fingers pinched my nipples, causing my sex to clamp down harder around him.
“I’m close, Rachelle. You riding me is almost too much. Touch yourself. I want to see you fall apart while you are riding my dick.”
His words only turned me on more as I worked myself up and down. I pressed a finger to my clit, and the little sensation made me go over the edge. “I’m coming, Wes.”
“Don’t stop riding me. Shit, you’re sexy as hell. I’m never letting you out of my sight again.”
My sex clamped down around him. Wes wrapped an arm around me and pulled me close. Our lips connected. Wes’s tongue pressed against my lips. My orgasm seemed to continue for a while.
“Did I die?”
Wes chuckled, “no, but we need to do that again.”
I rolled to the side as Wes pulled the condom off his dick. “I’ll be right back.” He stepped out of the room and I winced to know my family was out there.
A couple of minutes later, Wes came back in and sat on the bed. His face is deadly serious. “Rachelle.”
“Are you really going back to this one-night shit?” I felt like a cold bucket of water was dumped over my head.
“No, but the team is getting ready to go. They are going to discuss strategy.”
“Go.” This was his job. “I promise I won't run off.”
My body felt like Jell-O. “I might go home, change and shower.”
Wes hesitated, “you should stay here.”
I nodded, “I’ll take the doctor's advice. You need to go save the world.”
Wes placed a kiss on my lips before and pulled back. “I think I’m falling in love with you.” Then he turned and walked out leaving me speechless.
CHAPTER 14
Wes
“Hold.” Brock’s voice came through the comm. Mia was at my side. We were behind one of the large shipping containers. Milton was on the end of the dock with Roxy in a cage.
We’d spent an hour trying to figure out another way to infiltrate the shipment. Nobody wanted to put Roxy in the position, but she stepped forward and said she wanted to help.
