So it would mean the world to me if you left a review at your favourite retailer, on Goodreads, or at any other website of your choice. It doesn’t have to be long – “liked it” or “would rather deal with the mysterious caterpillar” will do just fine. Of course, if you’d like to leave a longer review, that would also be wonderful!

Meet Gobbelino London, PI
“What’ve we got?”
“Tigers. Snakes. Alligators. Tears in the skin of the universe.” Susan shrugged. “I think I saw a kraken in the sink, too.”
We were only hired to find a book. No one said anything about void-monsters, sink-krakens, or saving the world from a plague of niceness.
And there was definitely no mention of dentists …

Christmas isn’t all mince pies and chocolate oranges, you know. Someone’s got to stuff all those stockings.

About the Author
Hello lovely person. I’m Kim, and in addition to the Beaufort Scales stories I write other funny, magical books that offer a little escape from the serious stuff in the world and hopefully leave you a wee bit happier than you were when you started. Because happiness, like friendship, matters.
I write about baking-obsessed reapers setting up baby ghoul petting cafes, and ladies of a certain age joining the Apocalypse on their Vespas. I write about friendship, and loyalty, and lifting each other up, and the importance of tea and cake.
But mostly I write about how wonderful people (of all species) can really be.

Acknowledgments
First and always, thank you, lovely reader. Without you there would be no writing, and no dangerous golf courses or superannuated superheroes. You make all this possible, and you are all entirely wonderful.

Thank you to my wonderful editor Lynda Dietz, of Easy Reader Editing. I hope very much that all the Barries are out of my system now, for her sake if not mine. All good grammar praise goes to Lynda. All mistakes are mine. Find her at www.easyreaderediting.com for fantastic blogs on editing, grammar, and other writer-y stuff.

Thank you to Monika from Ampersand Cover Design, who’s some sort of writer-whisperer. I have no idea how she came up with such a wonderful cover from: “There’s, I don’t know, a chicken? And demons and tears in the universe and stuff. Oh, and I like blue.” She may be magic. Find her at www.ampersandbookcovers.com

And thank you to all my wonderful friends and family, online and off. It’s been a long, strange year, and it would’ve been a lot longer without you. Less strange, possibly, but definitely longer. And I like strange, anyway, every bit as much as I like you.

The Gobbelino London, PI series
“This series is a wonderful combination of humor and suspense that won't let you stop until you've finished the book. Fair warning, don't plan on doing anything else until you're done …”
- Goodreads reviewer
The Beaufort Scales Series (cozy mysteries with dragons)
“The addition of covert dragons to a cozy mystery is perfect...and the dragons are as quirky and entertaining as the rest of the slightly eccentric residents of Toot Hansell.”
– Goodreads reviewer
Short Story Collections
Oddly Enough: Tales of the Unordinary, Volume One
“The stories are quirky, charming, hilarious, and some are all of the above without a dud amongst the bunch …”
- Goodreads reviewer
The Cat Did It
Of course the cat did it. Sneaky, snarky, and up to no good - that’s the cats in this feline collection which will automatically arrive on soft little cat feet in your inbox as a thank you for joining the newsletter (either via You Better Watch Out or any other link). Just remember - if the cat winks, always wink back …
