VOICE 1 (OS)

  Ow! Hey man, those are the keys to my scooter. Give them back.

  NARRATOR

  It's my scooter now!

  YURIKO

  Aha!

  YURIKO exits.

  YURIKO (OS)

  There you are!

  NARRATOR (OS)

  No! No, not again! I don’t have the strength. I’m not healed. My hip is broken, like a split wagon wheel.

  YURIKO (OS)

  Then I'll have to hammer it back into place. Come here!

  NARRATOR (OS)

  No! No! Noooooo--

  YURIKO enters, dragging the NARRATOR by HIS feet.

  NARRATOR

  --ooooooooooooo--

  YURIKO exits the opposite side of the stage, pulling the NARRATOR with HER.

  NARRATOR (OS)

  --ooooooooooo!

  TADAO comes out and hits the gong, and then exits. The lights dim for the end of the play.
