Framing Felipe, page 25
and has forced Bryan to act as his muscle for fifteen
years. Bryan has had enough. When he doesn’t show
up to shift at the full moon, his sister thinks he’s been
kidnapped…again. And that’s exactly what Bryan
wants.
After almost a year of non-‐stop antagonism from
the bears, the Shrews are hesitant to get involved
when Bryan’s sister entreats them for aid. She makes a
compelling case, though, and boss lady Dana assigns
her favorite cranky Romanian to root Bryan out. Tamara Ursu would give her eyeteeth to
end all the were-‐bear drama once and for all. She’s sick of commuting to the mountains and
misses her little house in Durham. She wants to get back to her usual routine.
But when Bryan comes looking for her instead of the other way around, she suspects
the drama hasn’t even begun to peak. Bryan’s got big plans, and he wants Tamara to keep
them a secret—even from the Shrews.
Tam doesn’t want to play along, especially not for a man whose attitude problem rivals
her own. However, her Shrew gut says that maybe his harebrained scheme will work…
Maybe it’s what they need to restore order in the mountains once and for all. But can they
carry out the plan without killing each other first?

About Holley Trent
Holley Trent is a Carolina girl gone west. Raised in rural coastal North Carolina, she has
Southern sensibilities but her adventurous spirit drove her to Colorado for new
experiences.
Holley writes sassy contemporary romances threaded with oodles of conversational
humor, and fantasy/paranormal romances set in her home state.
Her protagonists regularly fall victim to her odd sense of humor and find themselves in
improbable situations (with happily-‐every-‐after outcomes). Holley's cast of characters
tends to swear, drink and do a fair amount of carousing, but they're generally well
intentioned and obey all laws and ordinances. Usually.
She’s a member of Romance Writers of America as well as Colorado Romance Writers
and CIM-‐RWA: the Cultural Interracial and Multicultural special interest RWA chapter.
