Burn: Royal Devils MC Central Coast, page 7
“You heard me. It needs work. Why aren’t you fixing it?”
“Oh, I’m sorry Martha Stewart is it not up to your satisfaction?” I ask sarcastically.
“Women have to live here. Typically we aren’t as nasty as men and we can actually hit the damn toilet when we piss,” she snaps at me. Now this Tia is the one I like. The mouthy give no shits Tia.
“I don’t have any problem hittin’ the hole as you very well remember,” I say crossing my arms over my chest and glaring at her.
“You’re joking right?” That’s enough of the Nun’s little mouth. I shove out of my chair and move to the end of the desk where her pretty little ass is sitting on the edge. Trapping her with my body, I lean in and grab the back of her neck.
“Are you playin’ games now? You missed my cock in you that much, Nun?” I haven’t fucked her in days. There’s a war in my head that I’ve been trying to sort out and fucking her will just mess with my train of thought even more.
“I don’t think anyone could miss that being in them.” Okay, she wants to push my buttons. I’ll push hers right back. Grabbing a handful of tit in my hand, I give it a squeeze feeling her nipple harden beneath my palm. Cocking my head to the side, I raise my eyebrows in challenge to her. She’s horny as fuck. I can see it in her eyes.
“You can grab a boob. What a man,” she smarts off. Then I’m on her. My lips are crashing into hers, my tongue slipping into her mouth. Tia reaches up and grabs at the buckle on my belt, quickly getting it undone and pulled open. She moves to my jeans next as our tongues collide with each other. When she has my cock in her hand she strokes it roughly earning a growl from me.
“You know Nun, if you wanted my cock all you had to do was ask,” I tell her. She ignores me, shoves me back a step and pulls her jeans down her legs. I groan as I watch her strip right here in the office for me. Something about this girls hot and cold attititude speaks to me and I don’t know why. It should be a turn off but fuck my cock is harder than it ever has been.
“Just shut up and fuck me, Burn.” I can do that. I grab her and lift her body, slamming it onto the desk. I don’t care that she’s on all my paperwork. I don’t care that she’s about to come all over the desk. All I care about is sinking my cock inside of her. And that’s exactly what I do. I sink my cock into her and she moans in pleasure. Each thrust is harder than the last. I knew she wanted me but making her admit that is harder than I thought it would be.
There are so many things going on in this head of mine and in my life but once I’m inside of Tia it all fades away. Nothing else matters right now.
I roll plunge into her and she moans again. Grabbing her hips I drag her closer to the edge. This desk was made to be used as a fuck station. She’s at the perfect height for me to dive into her. And I do. I take her harder and faster until her sweet wetness is dripping out of her and then she comes. She explodes hard, screaming my name. Then I feel it. That tingle, that burn and I come along with her, sweat dripping down my temples as I fill her full of me.
“Was that so hard?” I ask as I try and catch my breath.
“It was pretty hard.” Again she amuses me and I smile at her. When I pull out I groan again missing the loss of her already.
“Am I just sex to you?” she asks as she pulls her clothes back on.
“Is that all I am to you?” I throw her question back at her. I’ve thought about this. This obsession I seem to have with her. The way I can’t seem to stop thinking about her. The way I want her and I haven’t sorted out what this is with her. At first I thought it was lust but I find that I like having her around. Not just the sex. I like her little mouth. I like the way she challenges me. I like how she pushes me until I’m ready to snap.
Speaking softly she says,”Nice way to deflect the question.” I watch her move toward the door when I stop her with real words that I can’t take back.
“No. Sex isn’t all you are to me.” Tia smiles a small smile before she nods her head and grabs the door knob.
“Me either,” she says so softly I barely hear her. Then she’s out the door and I’m left with a pile of bills with her come all over them. Closing my eyes I let out a sigh. What the fuck am I doing?
Pulling my cigarettes out and light one up before strolling out of my office and into the main room. There I find Outlaw and Tattz while Torque is on the phone across the room. His eyebrows are pulled together. He’s focused on whatever is being said. I make my way over to the other two and drop onto the seat next to them.
“Whose he talkin’ to?”
“Someone about this whole other MC bullshit. He called Mystic from Soulless Bastards to see if he has any intel into that shit,” Tattz tells me. I nod my head and take a long drag off my cigarette before reaching for a beer.
“You ready to ride today?”
“I’m ready to ride every day. What the fuck you mean am I ready to ride?” The guys chuckle when Torque walks over and takes a seat on the other side of the table.
“We’re comin’ up empty, brother. Unless this is a brand new club that no one knows about yet, they aren’t shit. Mystic’s got nothin’ on Devils Hounds. They ain’t out there,” he says pissing me off a little more.
“Oh, they’re out there or they wouldn’t have shot at my motherfuckin’ camper!” I roar angrily. They shot at us. They knew I was in there and I’m sorry but a bunch of bastards on bikes with guns doesn’t equal up to ghosts in my book. No, they are someone and when I find out who, they will pay for what they did. They will pay for putting Tia’s life in danger. That’s when it all hits me. The thoughts I just had. Of her. Of them hurting her.
“We got nothin’ Burn. I don’t know what else to do here,” he says as I nod.
“We stay vigilant. We don’t let shit slide past us. If you see somethin’ you check into it. We’ve got too much ridin’ on our asses to let some shit club come in here and take what ain’t theirs.” The guys nod as I take down my beer and motion for the girls at the bar to bring me another. Molly does so with a smile on her thin lips and a sway in her step. Setting the beer on the table in front of me, she makes sure I get a long look at her tits. She knows what kind of man I am but I ignore her advances and take down the next beer like it’s water. That seems to be what swims in my veins these days. Alcohol and Tia.

“Who did that shit?” I ask pointing to the stack of cases against the wall. I’m upstairs checking on the bar to see how things are running like I do on Thursdays. Addie is one of our bartenders up here and she’s damn good at what she does. She’s also sexy as fuck which helps with the men.
“David did. I warned him about stacking them that high and the asshole wouldn’t listen to me,” she states as she moves to grab the boxes. I beat her to it and pull them down two at a time, setting them to the side.
“We have fuckin’ rules for a reason. If he’s an issue, fire his ass. I’ll get you someone else up here,” I tell her as I move the boxes around.
“Heard you got a new girl down there,” she says as she begins to help move the boxes around.
“Oh yeah? Who told you that?”
“I wasn’t really told so much as overheard it. Molly was up here with a few of the other girls. It seems you haven’t given her any attention.”
“Fuck. That girl has a big mouth.” Addie laughs as I take the last box from her hands and set it on the counter.
“You seen anything or anyone in here that you don’t recognize? Seem out of place?”
“Other bikers? No. There were a few new guys that came in a few weeks ago but they haven’t been back since. They didn’t seem out of place though. Something I need to watch out for?” she asks. Now I don’t usually tell none club members about club issues. Addie isn’t a devil chaser. She is a bartender and that’s it. She helps me run the bar and takes care of things while I handle club business but when shit could start to affect her, I tell her what she needs to know.
“I’m sure you heard about the camper gettin’ shot up, yeah?” She nods her head. “It wasn’t just random. They knew I was in there. Whoever it was knew I was stayin’ in that camper. They weren’t shootin’ to scare.”
“Jesus, Burn. Glad you’re okay but fuck, man.”
“Heard that. Anyway, they’ve been leavin’ little signs here and there around the fair ground. Their club logo except there is no club. Not that we can find anyway,” I tell her.
“The guys that came in weren’t wearing cuts. They were just a group of younger guys,” she adds. I nod my head and blow out a breath.
“Just keep your eyes open. Anything seems off you tell Jot right away. He can handle things on that front,” I inform her. She nods her head.
“I will. Hopefully they aren’t stupid enough to come around here. Then again they may not know the clubhouse is under here if they’re new around town,” she says. I agree and was thinking the exact same thing.
“Just keep an eye out. I got some shit to do. I’ll talk to you later, yeah?” Giving me a quick hug, Addie turns and walks back into the bar leaving me in the back room. I grab my bottle and take a pull before stashing it back in it’s spot. I know it’s wrong but it’s also my way of life.
Deciding to do something totally different today, I head down the back stairs and back into the clubhouse to find Tia. Standing with Molly isn’t the ideal place to find her but there she is. When they hear me come into the room, they both turn to look at me. Molly’s eyes are full of fire where Tia’s are inquisitive as usual.
“What the hell is this?” I ask when I step up next to them. Glancing between the two of them, neither wants to answer and that pisses me off. Grabbing Tia’s arm, I jerk her body against mine.
“You gonna answer me, Tia or you prefer I get pissed?”
“Get pissed all you want. I don’t really give a shit,” she snaps pulling her arm away from me. Then it all hits me. Why do I even bother? Why did I think of having a normal fucking day with this bitch?
“You’re right. Fuck this.” Turning on my heel, I stalk the other direction when I hear her behind me. I don’t give a damn, I just ignore her anyway.
“Burn, wait.”
“Go play with the club whores, Nun!”
“It’s not like that and you know it,” she protests.
“Don’t care what it’s like.” Tia grabs my arm when she’s close enough to me and I fight the urge to snap at her. Instead I turn to face her, my hands planted on my hips, my eyes burning through her.
“She said she was with you. She was just talking about you,” she fills me in.
“What about me?” I growl.
“Just that you’ve been hurt in the past and you’re afraid to let her get too close.” Now I laugh. Afraid to let Molly too close? No. I’m afraid of having Tia too close because I know that I’m just going to hurt her. I know that in the end she’s going to run from me. This has shit to do with Molly.
“I’ll take care of her,” I tell her. Tia shakes her head and raises her hand to rest it on my chest, my heart beating rapidly under her fingers.
“What did you need in there? You looked like you wanted to ask something.” I swallow hard debating my next move. I should walk away from her but I don’t. I’m not that smart of a man and we all know that.
“I was gonna see if you would spend the day with me,” I admit. Her eyes widen and her lips part before she snaps them back closed.
“Are you asking me out?”
“Not a fuckin’ date, Nun. Get the girly shit out of your head. You wanna hang out with me today or not?” I ask. I’m not a dater. I’m not asking her out. This is a load of shit and we both know it. I’m asking her to hang out with me today. Girls have t his unnatural obsession with calling everything a date and that isn’t me.
“Yeah. I’d like that.”
“Good. Go put jeans on we’re takin’ the bike.” With that I turn and head to my room needing a minute when I remember that she sleeps in there. Fuck my whole life. Nun walks in and looks at me funny as I motion to the closet where her close hang. She walks over and grabs her jeans and a shirt before going to the bathroom to change. I drop onto the edge of the bed and debate what the fuck I’m doing with this girl. A fucking date? Yeah right. She will leave me just like everyone else. She’ll become my second best just like she never wanted to be because my drinking is a problem. I can admit to that but I can also admit to the fact that everything I care about leaves. Tia is no different. Something about her makes me feel and I know that will end as quickly as it started. I’ll ruin her like so many others before her and she will hate me because of it. So why can’t I stop this thing between us? Why do I feel like this train wreck has to happen?
“You okay?” I look up to see her in skin tight black jeans with a pair of biker boots and a shirt that hugs her tits in all the right ways.
“I’m fine. You ready?” I ask. Tia nods her head and I grab my keys and head for the door. Too much runs through my mind and every single scenario ends with her walking away. I could accept that fact if I was going to drink her away but I can’t do that. I’ve kept her here. I’ve made her stay and now there’s not shit I can do about it.
“You sure you’re okay?”
“I’m not drunk, Nun!” I snap at her. She jolts but doesn’t say anything which is unusual for her. She always says something back to me yet when I look over, she says nothing at all.
We don’t speak as we walk the rest of the way through the clubhouse and out to the bikes.
“What made you do this?”
“Do what?”
“The underground parking,” she says.
“Safety. Most of the people around here like havin’ us here, ya know? We provide some sort of safety to them but there are some that don’t want us around and would do anything to get us out of here. This is just a precaution.”
“So they don’t know you’re down here?”
“I don’t know. I’d say they probably do since they don’t see bikes out front that often but either way they ain’t gettin’ in here,” I tell her with a smirk.
“It was smart. Doing it like this,” she adds which just boosts my fucking ego a little more.
“Thanks.” I nod toward the bike, passing her a helmet as I go. I watch her slide it on her head as I do the same and climb onto my bike. Tia moves to climb on behind me and wraps her arms around my waist. Revving the bike up in the garage is loud but I love it. I pull out and into the sunlight as Tia holds on tighter. We pull onto the main road and I take off.
I know where I want to take her but I don’t know why. I don’t know if it’s a smart move on my part giving her another piece of me just to snatch it away. The inner turmoil is killing me but as I ride I feel a sense of peace coming over me.
It doesn’t take long before we’re in the neighborhood. The place I haven’t been in so long. I don’t know why I came back here and I don’t know why I’m pulling into the damn driveway but I do it anyway. Killing the engine, I climb off and offer Tia my hand to help her.
“If you brought me to meet your parents I will kick your ass,” she snaps playfully as I shake my head.
“I don’t have parents. Come on,” I tell her offering my hand yet again to her. She’s messing with my head and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not. I lead Tia up to the door, holding my key in my hand.
“This is my house.”

Tia follows me inside quietly, neither of us saying a word. Once we’re inside, she gasps and glances around.
“You live here? In this house?” I chuckle.
“I know it’s not what you were thinkin’. Come sit down and I’ll explain.” Tia follows me to the couch and sits next to me.
“I was passed from foster home to foster home. This is where I ended up. I was a bastard even back then. I didn’t like bein’ told what to do so I did what I wanted. They were older. Too old to have a fucked up kid in their house but they took me in anyway. They both died. Left me the house, end of story.”
“You never changed it. You never redecorated or anything,” she says looking around once more.
“I didn’t feel like it was mine. This didn’t feel like my house. IT was theirs and who the fuck was I to come in here and change that.”
“They left it to you for a reason, Burn,” she adds. I shake my head knowing that reason and hating it too.
“They felt sorry for me, Tatianna! I don’t want no charity shit. What I wanted was a damn family! I wanted someone that actually cared about me!” I see her heart breaking in her eyes and it kills me. I don’t want her sympathy. I don’t want her to feel sorry for me. That’s not why I brought her here.
“They didn’t feel sorry for you. You’re an asshole and I hardly see you being any different for them. They cared, that’s all it was. Why do you take things the wrong way?”
“My life was always shit, Tia. Everyone I’ve ever cared about has walked away from me. Every one of them has left me.”
“You’re afraid,” she whispers.
“Goddamn right I am. I’m afraid to let you in because I know how that feels. I know the damage it causes and I never want to feel that shit again in my life, Tia. Ever!” She moves so quickly I barely register it. She has my face in her hands kissing me like I’m the most important thing in her world and maybe for the moment I am. Maybe in this second I’m all that matters to her but she isn’t all that matters to me. I need the alcohol like I need the air to breathe. I need to hurt her because that’s the only way I know how to keep her at bay. I need to step back, push her away because that’s what I do to those I care about. Shit!
“Stop,” I beg her but her lips collide with mine once more. I can’t do this. I can’t breathe. She’s drowning me and I can’t swim. I’m sinking and I can feel it. Shoving her away from me, I stand to my feet and quickly walk past her to the kitchen. Liquor waits for me like a drug that I’m drawn to. I grab the bottle and take a long pull because this is what I do when I can’t focus. This is what I do when I can’t function, when someone gets to close. This is how I push them away.
