Easter Hunt, page 5
part #5 of Monstrous surprises Series
It was what she had needed to hear all along. Not specifically that, but something to remind her she was in control. In a savage move, her face plunged for the side of his throat and bit down.
When her fangs broke his skin—did she shift her teeth into fangs?—Liam grunted something that sounded like a “Yes” and she felt him empty himself inside of her.
There was a slight taste of blood on her tongue that mixed in her mind with the idea that she had done that.
He was completely undone by her.
And the idea that she had the power to make that man under her, come so loudly—and maybe also the fact she had bit him and he seemed to actually enjoy it—was what finally brought her to completion.
Her orgasm shattered her, and her hands went limp around his neck.
Somewhere in her mind, she realized it hadn’t been her greatest idea, but she couldn’t care less. She was utterly and amazingly spent. Her whole body tingled with the remnants of her orgasm, and Liam could have dumped her on the ground right this instant and she wouldn’t care.
As it was, he was doing much better than that. Liam had removed her from his cock, his cum dripping down the inside of her thighs from her still wet and throbbbing pussy, and had started to lather her up with soap without being asked.
Maybe she wasn’t so controlling after all. Maybe she just needed to let her beast free and it would work for her.
Biting Liam had seemed to work wonders.
“Why are you chuckling?” Liam asked her.
Was she?
She hadn’t realized she had been. It made her chuckle some more.
“I was lost in my own mind,” she whispered to him while he soaped her breasts, “I hope I didn’t hurt you when I bit you,” she added thoughtfully.
“Not in the least,” Liam answered as he moved his hand to her belly, “I’m healed already. Look.”
He showed her his throat and sure, the puncture marks laft by her fangs were already disappearing.
“My turn,” she said, putting some soap in her palm and bringing it to Liam’s torso.
Like he had done for her, Mickaela washed him. First his torso, then his arms, down to his calves, and rising up along his thighs. She moved to his stomach, slowly making her way down to his remarkably already hard again cock, and Liam stopped her.
“If you keep stroking me like this, Skadi, I’m going to need to fuck you again, and this time, I’m not so sure I’ll be able to let you take the lead.”
He shook his head as if he needed to gather his thoughts.
“I’m already hard for you, so unless you want another round, I need you to stop,” he added right after.
Mickaela looked down at his deliciously hard cock, and smiled wickedly as she lathered it with soap.
Liam groaned, pushing her hand aside to rinse off any soap, and grabbed her by the hips before carrying her on his shoulder.
“Where is your room?” He asked in a gruff tone.
“Second door on the left,” Mickaela said in a cheerful voice.
Liam slammed the door open and dropped her on the bed.
He looked at her, sprawled out on the bed invitingly, just for him, and he couldn’t keep the need from his eyes. Or from his cock, which was erect once again. It was a fucking sight to behold. Standing before her, one hand gripping his cock desperately, taking in the image of her spread out before him.
And even in his dazed state, he was waiting for her, for a sign that she still wanted to continue, to be fucked again.
Eyes never leaving him, Mickaela opened her legs wide, letting them fall to the side as she slid one hand to her clit. This, her arousal, was just for him.
When her heart started to beat faster, her breath grew shallow and her clit started to throb, she raised her hand and crooked her index finger in his direction in an obvious “get over here” gesture.
Liam needed nothing more to be on her once again, hard and ready to go.
He grabbed her hips bringing her to the edge of the bed, shoved away her hand and plunged into her in a swift move, replacing her fingers with his own on her clit.
He made fast, precises circles relentlessly around her throbbing clit and pounded into her as if he couldn’t get enough of her.
Mickaela had already come twice, but here she was under a man, moaning like a banshee, turned into a puddle of need and lust, and about to come for him a third time.
She couldn’t think straight, full of his cock that seemed to hit her in all the right ways every single time he thrust into her, over and over.
She heard him roar—her neighbors probably had too, despite being a mile away—and she forced him to collapse on her by gripping his arm. Once he was down against her, she plunged her fangs into his chest, right above his heart. She felt herself squeeze around him and then all of her body tightened before her orgasm consumed her.
Lost in it, she heard Liam roar a second time—had he come twice? Was that even possible?—before he went lax and moved to her side, unsheathing himself and tucking her against him on the bed.
The position was a bit awkward, with their legs dangling from the edge of the bed, but neither of them seemed to care.
“I think we’re going to need another shower,” Mickaela said under her breath, contented by the fact Liam was currently threading his fingers in the braid he had begun to let loose.
A comfortable silence settled between the two of them until Mickaela broke it again.
Chapter 15
When the heroine has too much to think about
Mickaela's POV
“Why do you keep calling me Skadi?” Mickaela asked thoughtfully, Liam’s fingers still combing her hair lazily and lulling her into an almost sleepy state.
Her question was greeted by more silence from Liam.
She was about to tell him to forget it when he finally spoke.
“She is the goddess of the hunt in Norse mythology. She is strong and fierce, and the first time I saw you at the party, that’s what I thought about you,” he paused, detangling strands in her hair that had probably knotted during one of their wild sex sessions.
“You were poised to run after me, to hunt me down as if I were prey—your prey. And I found it beautiful and hot. I wanted you to chase me, and that’s why I ran past you to tease you.”
Mickaela was holding her breath at Liam’s words. They were more than she had ever dreamed of. This man, who had clearly said he wasn’t submissive—his words not hers—was telling her that he found it hot that she wanted to chase after him this way. This man was telling her that he cherished what she had been ashamed of for so long, what she thought was an aberration and would never act out.
He hadn’t said a single word about the fact she needed to bite him to orgasm, it was like all of this was natural for him.
“It doesn’t make me less of a man if I let you take control”
His words rang in her mind since he had uttered them.
“Do you still think that name fits me?” Mickaela asked, unsure. It was that uncertainty, weaving through her that made her doubt she fit the description Liam had just painted of her.
“No one is perfect, Skadi. And yes I still think it fits you. It fits what lies inside your heart, and all of your instincts.” He paused and tucked her own hand against her heart.
“What’s important isn’t what you show the world, it’s what’s here, it’s what you want and what you need.”
Who was this stranger telling her everything she had ever wanted to hear from a man? Where was he when she had broken down because she had felt weird time after time with her exes? Was he even real?
Mickaela couldn’t stop her spiraling mind.
She had only dated humans so far. Were shifters cut from a different cloth? Or was it just Liam?
As if he knew what she needed, he cupped her face and deposited a soft kiss on her forehead.
Swoon.
Okay, maybe it was just him, because obviously he healed fast and that helped if what she discovered today was true—she needed to let her beast free one way or another, even if it meant she needed to turn into some sort of vampire—but it wasn’t only that.
He was compassionate and kind, and even if it wasn’t what he needed, he was ready to bow down to her.
“I’m not sure I’m as strong as you believe, but I’m willing to try,” she said against his skin, and then she let her lips wander some more.
Because he was already in her bed, so why not make the best of it?
Chapter 16
When the time feels like it slowed
Mickaela's POV
Oh yes, she had made the best of it. Twice again. Then they ate together. Way too much. But they needed it anyway.
And then Liam had needed to go back home. They both had work in the morning and as much as Mickaela loved the way she felt when she was with Liam, they both had a life and Mickaela wasn’t completely ready to share all of hers with him.
Monday
Chocolate bunny: Hey Skadi, can I ask you on a date this week?
Mickaela: Hey you! A real date or the kind we had yesterday?
Chocolate bunny: A real one, but I don’t mind if it finishes like yesterday though…
Mickaela: Oh naughty!
Chocolate bunny: I’ve wanted you every single second of the day today, so you truly think I would say no to you? 😂
Chocolate bunny: Was supposed to talk to a customer today because he’s selling his house in Hollowtown, but I was so lost in thoughts of you that I popped a boner. It was kinda hard to explain 😆
Mickaela: OMG, you didn’t!
Chocolate bunny: Help a guy out and put me out of my misery…
Mickaela: When?
Chocolate bunny: Tomorrow or the day after? And maybe every day after that?
Mickaela: Let’s do one date at a time, we’re in no hurry 🤣
Chocolate bunny: Okay, deal. So tomorrow?
Mickaela: I still haven’t said yes …
Chocolate bunny: I’ll promise to order a dessert with chocolate and give it to you?
Mickaela: Right, you’re a chocolate hating heathen!
Chocolate bunny: Don’t be mean, that means more chocolate for you, you should be happy!
Mickaela: Alright, give me all the chocolate…
Chocolate bunny: So tomorrow at seven? I’ll pick you up at your place?
Mickaela: Okay, but it’s only because you bribed me with chocolate. Good night, Liam.
Chocolate bunny: Sweet dreams, Skadi.
Tuesday
Chocolate bunny: I don’t want to go home. Tonight was amazing.
Mickaela: It really was. See you on Friday. Do you plan on staying the night?
Chocolate bunny: I don’t know, are you inviting me?
Mickaela: Yes, silly!
Chocolate bunny: Then yes. Have sweet dreams, Skadi.
Mickaela: Good night Liam.
Wednesday
Mickaela: Hey! Why does Friday feel so far away?
Chocolate bunny:I wish I was with you too.
Mickaela: Then just leave work and come here!
Chocolate bunny: I wish I could. The boss decided we needed to invite this client to a restaurant… You know, the one I told you about, who’s buying the mansion.
Mickaela: I know. Doesn’t change the fact it’s not fair.
Chocolate bunny: It’s even less fair for me… Because I’m going to spend the evening thinking of all the naughty things we could do to each other and instead I’ll spend the night with a sixty year old dude who sports a pornstach… At least you can get relief on your own 😝
Mickaela: And make you dream about it?
Chocolate bunny: I already dream about you day and night…
Mickaela: Then dream some more. I’ll leave you to your “work meeting”
Chocolate bunny: I’m home, and I’m still thinking of you.
Chocolate bunny: You must be sleeping
Chocolate bunny: Sweet dreams, Skadi
Thursday
Mickaela: I hate my sister…
Chocolate bunny: What did she do?
Mickaela: She’s grilling me about you. It feels like she’s a teen who lives vicariously through me… When I actually know she doesn’t need to to live through me, I know too much about her and Noa, and I saw too much of them too… Did you know that Noa was an exhibitionist? Well I do know now!
Chocolate bunny: I kinda figured that out… How did you find out?
Mickaela: Arrived a bit too early tonight and they were going at it in the garden. I think Noa saw me, who am I kidding, he definitely saw me, but he didn’t stop. He winked at me! I’m still shocked at that! No one should ever see their little sister getting railed!
Chocolate bunny: I can imagine your face, you sound outraged.
Mickaela: It’s because I am!
Mickaela: Be right back, I’m gonna go bleach my eyes…
Mickaela: Had a glass of Chardonnay and ate your chocolate chick and I’m feeling better… Going to sleep, see you tomorrow.
Chocolate bunny: Good night and sweet dreams, Skadi.
Chapter 17
When the hunt begins
Mickaela's POV
Liam had actually wined and dined Mickaela again before bringing her back to her place. He was currently playing the gentleman, kissing her lightly when they reached her door as if there was a chance in Hell that he wouldn’t enter after her.
Neither of them was a fool.
Mickaela grabbed his hand and pulled him inside the house before closing the door—a tiny bit violently—and ran, forcing him to follow after her to her bed.
Once they were in her room she pushed him on the bed and straddled him.
She planned to make it a loooong night.
***
When she woke up the next morning, Liam wasn’t in bed anymore and she was sore everywhere. Judging by the smell of pancakes coming from the kitchen, she’d found Liam.
“Good morning, Skadi. Here, I made you breakfast,” Liam said as he gave her a plate filled with pancakes, drizzled with melted chocolate and extra chocolate chips.
For someone who didn’t like chocolate, he sure did use it a lot.
Mickaela wasn’t about to complain though. She needed all the energy she could if they were going to continue what had kept them from sleeping for most of the night.
Liam piled pancakes on his plate, and Mickaela wasn’t surprised to see that his were only covered by maple syrup. A shit ton of it though.
Mickaela had no idea where he had found everything to prepare their breakfast but she loved it.
She didn’t care that he was already dressed in dark jeans and a white shirt that strained against his muscled pecs, when she was only wearing one of the large shirts she slept in. It felt nice and cozy, and she liked that he was here with her.
She ate all the pancakes on her plate and then some, before washing it all down with some orange juice. She settled into her chair at the table, feeling happy and full.
“I had an idea,” Liam said with a smirk.
He stood and took the plates away.
Mickaela perked up at his words.
“What kind of idea?” She asked as she couldn’t contain her smile watching him coming back in her direction.
“An idea where I run,” Liam said as he removed his shirt, “and you catch me.”
He removed his jeans and he was naked before her. He had gone commando. She also hadn’t even realized he had been barefoot before he stood and started to talk.
Liam didn’t give Mickaela any time to compute what he had just said, he just opened the door at the end of the open room that led to the garden and raced away.
Shit.
Was this happening?
It was, right?
Mickaela had no idea what to think about what had just happened, but who cared?
She stood, joined team “I’m going to run naked”—maybe she shouldn’t have judged Noa about it, she felt like an exhibitionist right in this instant too—and ran after Liam.
It was exhilarating and thrilling. Her heart pumped faster, her mind was wrecked with a single thought—find him and show him what he deserved for running from her—and she couldn’t seem to be able to stop laughing. It was the giddiest she’d ever felt. It topped searching for eggs on Easter by a long shot.
Mickaela ran blindly in the direction Liam had left, jumping over roots and batting branches away as if they were mere mosquitos.
Liam’s scent permeated the whole forest and wrapped Mickaela in a comfortable embrace.
Comfortable.
It was not enough.
Mickaela wanted more. She wanted to bask in his scent like she basked in the sun, wrapping him around her for their scent to become only one.
She wanted them to meld. She wanted him to smell a bit like her everyday for the rest of their life, to show the world he was hers.
Where did that thought come from?
As she kept running at full speed she shook her head, trying to dispel what had just crossed her mind and focus on the task at hand.
She sniffed, and sure enough, there was a path where Liam’s scent was more pungent, a sweet mix of his natural scent, sweat, and arousal. But no fear.
He liked what they were doing as much as she did. Her focus renewed, she followed the direction of his scent, running at full speed.
Her blood was pumping fast in her body, beating like a drum in her ears, setting the pace for the pounding of her bare feet on the grass.
In this instant, she probably looked like a crazed being; flushed, panting and with leaves stuck in her hair. She had a smile so wide she felt as if her lips would burst at the seams.
She caught a white blur in the periphery of her sight.
White?
There was nothing on Liam that had been white when he had left, and the man was definitely not blond. It smelled like Liam though.
Mickaela ran faster than ever.
How fast was the bunny for fuck’s sake?
