p.413 Afterword: The entries in this ‘extract from the Truth and Reconciliation Special Report: Victims Index’ have all been taken from the Victims Index, with the names and minor details, such as dates, altered out of respect for the victims. Apart from the insertion of ‘Pietermaritzburg’ in place of ‘Durban’, the wording of the entry against Mirambo’s name is, word for word, the Victims Index entry against the name of Knowledge Mdalose, a member of the Students Representative Council on the Durban campus of the University of Natal who disappeared in 1993.
