Yeah, he deserved that.
Her reaction told him she was pissed off that he hadn’t tried to reconnect with her before now.
But did he deserve to witness that other guy wrapping his arms around her and kissing her?
Well, he hadn’t staked his personal claim on her, so yeah, he deserved that too.
