I scooted back on the bed as Zak made his way to his bedside table. “I know you’re on PrEP, right. I wasn’t sure—”
I looked at the condom as well as the lube in his hand. “I’d like to go without. I know for damn sure I’m not positive for anything other than blue balls.”
His laughter was deep and infectious. “Yeah, I think that’s quite possibly the only thing I’m registering positive for as well.”
He settled on the bed next to me, and I sat up, needing his lips on mine. Satisfied with the deep kiss and the increasingly ragged breaths coming from the both of us, I took the bottle from him.
“Let me.” His hand on the bottle stopped me, and I settled back happily.
A loud groan rent the air. Mine. Zak was a freaking tease. He was going to kill me before he finally managed to plant himself balls deep at this rate. I heard myself chanting nonsensical words as he entered another digit. I had no idea how many that was. He was slow at first, but I needed more. Finally needed him deep inside me. I grasped hold of his arm and shook my head.
“I can’t, I just need.”
Satisfaction painted his features as he edged away and repositioned himself. A trickle of cool lubricant had me gasping once more. I pulled him towards me, allowing him to fill me completely after a few carefully timed moments. Rightness settled through me. The fullness perfect. With his lips finding mine, we built up speed.
“Just…” More gobbledygook spurted from my mouth. The only word coming out clear was “More.”
We pushed harder and deeper as the heat of my release spread through my body. The soles of my feet pressed hard into the mattress as he worked in a perfect rhythm. Stars exploded, my toes curled painfully, and I wasn’t quite sure if I’d ever be able to see straight again. Let alone walk.
Our bodies shook as a breathless Zak bent down for another kiss. “Can I be cliché?”
I grinned, sure my smile was lopsided. My half-mast eyes peered up at him, and I groaned as he moved slightly. “Go for it,” I all but mumbled, sleep beckoning in sated bliss.
“Us making it stick means I love you. You know that, right?”
After a brief nod, I angled up, silently asking for a kiss. His lips found mine, warm and oh so sweet. Pressing my head against the pillow, I focussed on his words, focussed on my heart beating for this gorgeous man who’d had my love seemingly forever.
“I know,” I answered sleepily. “I love you too.”
