When bureaucrats declare Zorba’s illegal by precisely four and a half metres, the octopus line comes down and the soul of the village seems lost. 

But, led by Peter’s fiery and pragmatic wife Alex, the villagers pull together to bring the taverna back to life. 

None of them have the faintest clue how to run a restaurant, but what can’t be fixed with some good old Greek obstinance, a splash of ouzo and a few strings of fairy lights?
