“Mennids, it’s time to grow our legion. Let there be no Alpha without a hundred Betas to die for him. Let there be no Beta without its parent handcuffed to him. It is I, Xavier, who command it, the one true Apollo. Don’t fall prey to Jester, Katana or any other false Apollo who shall dare to rule in my stead,” declared the man.
The gathering was abuzz with raw energy. They soon dispersed to appease their master.

At the three and a half minute mark, Vik’s mind in its final moments began to stimulate an impression of a notion by connecting his thoughts. Memories of Katie’s screams transcended upon his amygdala, while his auditory cortex lit up. He shook his head, albeit involuntarily, and opened his eyes. She didn’t die that day, his mind said to the heart.
