“That I do have to agree with,” Knox says.

My mom looks up at him with a head tilt. “Finn isn’t just my Alpha romantically. He’s Knox’s too,” I tell them.

“Oh! That’s wonderful,” my mom beams. “But that poor boy. You two are gonna give him a run for his money,” she says, shaking her head with a smile before kissing my dad on the cheek and going upstairs.

Knox and I give each other a look that says she’s a lot more accurate than she realizes.

“SO, YOU'RE DRINKING tonight?” Spencer asks as we step in line for the bar we're going to tonight for my brother's birthday.

“Yes, I am,” I tell him. “I plan on having fun. And if I’m gonna go up and sing tonight, I’m gonna need some liquid courage.”

  “You can sing?” Sawyer asks.

Spencer snorts. “Hell no, she can’t. She sounds like a dying whale.”

My face heats in embarrassment and anger. “Fuck off, Spencer, I’m not that bad. I’m better than you.”

“You wish, big sis.” He grins.

“Remind me why I wanted to come hang out with my little brother?” I grumble as Tristan wraps me in his arms, bringing my back to his front.

“Because you love me. And it’s my nineteenth birthday.”

  “You're lucky I do.”

After supper, the guys and I went back to the hotel to drop our stuff off and check into our rooms. Then we got ready before coming back to pick up my brother.

My dads took the opportunity to pull me aside and tell me something that has me worried about my little brother. Apparently, he’s been drinking with friends and coming home drunk. The few times that my dads confronted him about it, he always gave the same answer. It’s about Ivy, how he doesn’t want to go to Calling Wood because then he will be forced to see the woman he loves be with another Omega.

My heart broke when they told me that. They said it was just a young love crush, and once he gets to school and finds a pack of his own, he’ll get over it. But they don’t understand how Omega hearts work. When we fall, we fall hard. And it's not just for anyone.

So, I told my guys not to offer Spencer anything to drink and to keep an eye on him. I didn’t tell them why, just said that even though it's his birthday, he’s still underage, and it’s not a lie.

I don’t like keeping things from my guys, but this doesn’t have anything to do with them, and it’s not my business to tell.

We all wait in line, talking amongst each other. I try not to talk too much about school, because anytime I mention Calling Wood, Spencer gets this far away, sad look. So we talk about his life, his friends, his school.

“ID please,” the Alpha at the door says, not even bothering to look at us. He blindly takes them and scans them. When he gets to mine, he does a double take that has my Alphas growling before he checks the rest of them. When he gets to my brother, he gives it an even more heated look that has me growling.

The Alpha’s eyes shoot up, and he quickly gives Spencer’s ID back before waving us inside.

“Chill out, big sis. Don’t worry. I’m not interested in any of these Alphas.”

When we get inside, the place isn’t too packed, but my guys step up to me and Spencer, making sure one of them is by our sides. My heart warms that their first instinct is to protect us, even though my brother is bigger than them all except Dom and Knox.

The bar is broken up in two sections. One is the restaurant part and one is more of a bar with pool tables. We find a table on the bar side next to the stage. Spencer, Finn, Sawyer, and I all sit down while the others go over to the bar.

“Are you going to sing?” I ask Sawyer.

“Heck yeah.” He grins. “It’s the perfect chance to serenade my Omega.” He wiggles his eyebrows making me giggle.

Spencer makes a gagging noise. “So corny. Stop being so cute, you're making us single Omegas feel bad.”

“Don’t worry, dude, you will find your pack. Only two years left before your life really starts.”

Spencer doesn’t say anything. My eyes catch his, and he gives me a forced smile. “Let’s have fun tonight. We can rate the other people singing.”

“What if they're bad? Wouldn’t that hurt their feelings?” Sawyer asks, raising a brow. “That’s not like you, Pretty Girl.”

I roll my eyes. “Not like that. We used to come here with friends once I turned eighteen. I’d bring Spencer along. We would all come on mic night and cheer for everyone who sang, no matter how good or bad they were, and throw out random numbers. It always made them smile, and you could see their nerves settle.” I grin.

“Remember that one little, old lady? She got way too confident and almost took off her top,” Spencer snickers.

“No way,” Sawyer says, eyes going wide before he bursts out laughing. “I hope she’s back tonight.”

The guys come back with drinks for all of us and a soda for my brother. “Sorry, man,” Knox says.

“Oh well. Only two more years, right?”

We spend the next hour drinking and talking, falling into easy conversation that has us all smiling and laughing. It’s nice to just go out and relax with my guys.

Finn and Knox have been flirting with each other and sending me glances while the others have been finding any excuse to touch me.

Karaoke starts up, and we wait until I’m three drinks in and feeling tipsy. We were the biggest cheerleaders for each person who went up. I loved when they smiled, their voices becoming more confident. And that little, old lady... turns out she is here.

“That’s her!” Spencer says with a laugh.

  “Really?” Sawyer grins.

The lady gets up and starts singing Single Ladies by Beyoncé. We cheer, and my silly Alpha gets up there with her and starts doing the dance. We're all cracking up, but I love the smile on the lady’s face, pure joy.

“Alright, give it up for the young lady!” Sawyer says into the mic. “Now, I’ll be gracing you all with a performance of my own!”

A new song starts to play, and a big grin splits my face when the song I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred starts playing. “No way.” I laugh. “He’s not gonna, is he?”

“Oh, he totally is.” Tristan chuckles.

Sawyer starts to sing, getting right into the song. We're all laughing when Sawyer makes his way over to me, singing his heart out and dancing on the spot. My face hurts from laughing so hard. He turns around, and when it says ‘I shake my little tush’, he starts to twerk his butt in my face.

“Stop!” I gasp, trying to catch my breath. “I can’t breathe!” I laugh.

When the song is over and Sawyer gives the mic to the next person before hopping off the stage and walking over to us. “What did you think, Pretty Girl?”

“America's Got Talent material for sure.” I giggle.

“Yes!” He fist pumps. “I knew it.”

  CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

  OCTAVIA

Okay, so I might be a little tipsy. No, that’s a lie, I’m very tipsy. But I’m feeling good, loving the night, and I’m brave enough to get up on the stage now. Sawyer and Tristan got up there. Their song choice was a little less silly but still fun. I didn’t know the song, but they did pretty good.

We cheered some more strangers on, getting some of the other audience members to start hyping people up too.

“Come on!” I grab Spencer’s hand and pull at it as I stand. “You wanna get me up there, now is your one and only chance.”

“Oh this is gonna be good.” Dom chuckles.

“You got this, Kitten!” Knox shouts as Spencer and I head to the stage. I turn to blow him a kiss and almost faceplant in the process.

“I’m good,” I call back when I see my guys start to stand. Once we're on stage, Spencer looks at me.

“So, what song do you wanna sing?” Spencer asks. I think for a moment before giving him a grin that has him saying, “Oh boy, what?” I find the song and show him. He chuckles. “Alright, you wanna be Beyoncé or Lady Gaga?”

“Ah, you can do Queen B, I don’t wanna butcher her part,” I say.

  “Good idea,” he chuckles.

The song starts, and Spencer and I get right into it. I’m bad, so bad, but I don’t even care. My guys are cheering me on like I’m the best they’ve ever seen. They’re calling out my name, giving me catcalls and whistles, and I love every moment of it.

When we’re done and get back to the table, I’m out of breath. “I think one more drink and then we should head back to the hotel.”

They all agree, nodding their heads when Finn tosses his drink back, finishing it all in one mouthful. My eyes widen as I watch him stand up and dust himself off.

“What are you up to Finny? You okay?” Knox asks.

  Finn nods. “I’m gonna sing.”

“You are?” Knox asks, brows jumping to his hair line.

“Being here with you guys, watching you have fun and not give a crap about what others think... I want that. I don’t normally care what people think about me, but I don’t ever put myself out there, avoiding things that would have people turn and stare. So tonight, I’m gonna take a page from your book and try something new,” he says, looking at me with determined eyes.

I get up and kiss his cheek. “You’ve got this, Alpha.”

He gives me a small smile before heading over to the stage. I sit down in Knox’s lap. He wraps his arms around me, holding me tight as we wait to see what song Finn picks.

Finn grabs the mic with shaky hands, taking it off the stand and bringing it closer to his face. He’s not looking at us, but focusing on the far wall.

He takes a deep breath as the song starts. At first, I don’t recognize the song, but as he starts to sing the first few words, my heart starts to pick up and my eyes start to water. A small sob slips out of me.

“What’s wrong?” Knox asks, his voice filled with concern.

“Just listen,” I say back, getting myself under control. Finn picked Love Me More by Sam Smith. I’ve heard this song a few times, and fuck if it doesn’t hit you in the feels.

And Finn? He sings like an angel. I’m entranced by him, his voice, and the lyrics of the song. With each word, my heart breaks for the past him and heals for the new man he’s become. The way he looks at me and Knox when he’s finally able to look our way, it has tears streaming down my face. I want to find every person who’s ever looked at him wrong, said a mean word to him, or hurt my sweet Alpha and beat their asses.

When the song gets to the part where it says, ‘lately, it’s not hurting like things used to’, I sob again as Knox holds me tighter. I can feel Knox’s heart beating like a drum, wild in his chest.

When the song ends, the whole room is quiet for a few seconds. Finn looks panicked, vulnerability masking his face. Then the whole room breaks out into cheers. The sound is deafening as people stand and clap.

Finn walks back to us with red eyes. Knox sets me on my feet before pulling Finn into his arms. Knox kisses him hard, and watching how much love is put into that kiss makes my heart swell.

“I’m so fucking proud of you,” Knox says, putting his forehead to Finn’s.

  “Thank you,” Finn whispers.

  “I love you,” Knox says.

“I love you too.” Finn turns to look at me. “And I love you too, Sunshine.”

“You were amazing, Alpha,” I tell him as I wrap my arms around him. He holds me tight, putting his face into my hair and taking a deep breath of my scent before letting out a sigh.

We sit and have a few more drinks, the whole group hyped up by Finn’s performance.

“Alright. I think it's really time we go,” Dom says.

“Noooo,” I slur, my tipsy turning to drunk.

“Yes, Little One,” Dom growls, making me pout. “You have your date with Finn tomorrow, and you need as much sleep as you can get. I wouldn’t be surprised if you're hungover first thing in the morning.”

“Boooo.” I throw my napkin at him, and his eyes flash.

“Alright, you’ve chosen to be a bratty little Omega, I see,” he growls.

“Ohhhh, Sis is gonna get it,” Spencer says.

“Fuck you,” I tell him, flipping him off. Well, trying to, but I end up showing him my pinky instead.

“I’ll be right back,” Finn says, getting up. “I’m just gonna go pay our tab.”

A few of the guys go to the bathroom while we wait. They try to get me to go, but I’m drunk as a skunk, and I just feel like being a pain in the ass right now.

“What is taking him so long?” I sigh dramatically, making Knox laugh and Dom shake his head with a smirk. “I need to go find my sexy, nerdy Alpha,” I declare, moving to stand up.

I get a head rush and spin a little bit. Tristan shoots up from his chair to steady me. “Thanks, sexy pants,” I purr.

“You’re welcome, love.” He smiles, looking amused by my state.

“You know, me and you, we should fuck when we get back to the hotel. I need a knot,” I tell him, a little too loudly.

Spencer makes a gagging noise. “Fuck, sis, I do not need to hear about your sex life,” he shutters.

“Oh, relax.” I wave my hand at him. “Someday, you're gonna be taking knots up the ass.”

“Tia!” Knox barks out a laugh.

“So it’s not just when she’s in heat that she has a dirty mouth,” Tristan says with a chuckle.

“You should live in here.” I tap on my head. “There's so much stuff that would blow your mind.” I nod. “Just like I could blow your cock.” I giggle.

“Alright. Let’s find our boy before Kitten starts doing things that get us locked up,” Knox says, and the whole table stands.

“You’re no fun,” I pout, but I do want to find Finn. Looking around, I squint my eyes trying to find him around the room. And when my eyes lock on him at the bar, I see red.

“Little One?” Dom asks with caution, eyes following my gaze. “Fuck,” he hisses. Fuck is right. Meaning, I’m about to fuck up a bitch for touching my Alpha.

I push past Tristan and stumble my way over, my guys at my back cursing up a storm.

As I get closer, I see him talking a mile a minute. She doesn’t seem to care about what he has to say, just pets his fucking arm. And my poor, sweet Finn doesn’t even notice this bartender is flirting with him. “Your voice is so sexy,” she purrs. “You should sing for me sometime. Like a private show.”

I’ll give her a fucking private show with my fist... in her face. They don’t see me as I stop behind Finn.

“Oh.” He stops talking. “N-o, I can’t do that,” he stutters out his words.

“Why not? I’m not an Omega, but I can be one for the night if you like, Alpha.”

“No.” He shakes his head. “I don’t need you to pretend you’re an Omega. I have an Omega.”

“Really?” she asks, sounding a little surprised, and that pisses me off.

“Yes,” Finn says, a dreamy sound to his voice. “She’s so beautiful and funny. She has a heart of gold and is so accepting. I love her, a lot. She’s the reason why I got up and sang tonight.”

My shitty mood is gone, and I’m about to be a sobbing, drunk bitch because my Alpha is so damn amazing. I’ll have to make sure I rock his world extra hard to remind him how much I love him tomorrow.

But we’re here, and now there’s no way I can just grab my Alpha’s hand and tug him away like this didn’t happen.

“Well, here's your receipt,” she tells him, and she starts to hand him the piece of paper. “My number is at the top, just in case.”

“I’ll take that.” I snatch it out of her hands. “What is up with Beta bitches giving my men their numbers? God, woman, have some self-respect. He told you he was taken, and you have the balls to still give him your number,” I tisk. “Who hurt you, boo?”

She sneers at me, and that earns her a growl. But not by my other guys, no, by Finn.

“Don’t get mad at her. She’s speaking the truth. I told you I have an Omega, and it's very rude to disregard my relationship status,” he says, wrapping his arm around me. “I thought you were a nice lady, but clearly, I need to learn to read people better.”

With that, we turn and leave the Beta bitch gaping back at us like a fish out of water.

“Okay, that was hot,” Knox growls as we join the rest of our group from where they were watching this play out a few feet behind us.

“Yeah, we were.” I giggle, looking up at Finn, who still has me tucked under his arm. He’s blushing, but he gives me a smile and a kiss on the lips.

“I’m sorry she was so rude. I hope you know I would never do that to you,” he says with a slightly panicked look in his eyes.

“I know,” I tell him. “I know you love me and Knox and only us. We trust you.”

  “With our lives,” Knox adds.

They manage to get me in the car without me face planting over my heels. We drop my brother off, making sure he gets into the house safely before heading back to the hotel we're staying at.

“I’m fine,” I mutter as Dom carries me like a baby.

“Yeah, sure, Little One. Let's just forget you almost face planted a moment ago.” He chuckles.

“Don’t laugh at me. It’s hard to walk in heels. You try it!” I growl, and the rest of them laugh too. “Traitors,” I mutter.

“She’s cute when she’s drunk,” Sawyer says. I just glare at him.

“Get a good night's sleep, Kitten,” Knox says, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

“See you in the morning, Sunshine. I can’t wait to spend the day with you,” Finn says, doing the same thing.

  “Where are you two going?”

“Finn and I are gonna share a room,” Knox says, giving Finn a look that screams sex, making Finn blush.

“Hey, you better leave him a sweet, virgin boy. He’s mine!” I warn. Finn looks at me with wide eyes.

“Don’t worry, Little Omega.” Knox chuckles. “I’ll leave him a virgin. But can’t count on the sweet part.”

Dom takes me away from my sexy lovers. “But I wanted to watch,” I whine.

“I’m sure there’s lots of watching in the future. For right now, we need to get you into bed,” Tristan says.
