  Unbeknownst to them, SWAT slowly made their way to the operations room. Word had gotten around to Kessler that Heisler misappropriated funds, stole lab equipment for his own experiments, and his compatriots broke University rules and protocol.

  It was that information, which led to a search warrant for Heisler’s apartment, and there, a criminal investigation began. With gun lights flashing down the halls, SWAT made it to the operations room, and with a massive clamor, the door came off its hinges.
