Lens of Time #1

The Pyramid Builders
Saxon Andrew
Dr. Christopher Connor has discovered a way to view the past. His invention collects light and focuses it such that events that occurred on Earth years ago can be viewed. All one need do is travel one light year away and one can see what was happening on the planet a year earlier by capturing and focusing the reflected light that left Earth a year ago. There’s only one problem: no ship exists that can travel faster than the speed of light, so his device cannot be conclusively demonstrated to function as advertised. That’s fine with Christopher, who would much rather party and have a good time rather than defend his creation against critics and governmental bureaucrats. Besides, who would pay to view the past anyway?Jillian Gordon, an Egyptologist with a PhD in Quantum Physics, has discovered that the survival of Earth depends on viewing what happened at the building of the Great Pyramid of Khufu five thousand years in the past. Christopher’s device would allow her to do just that and she intends to draft him into the project. Christopher is about to discover that the organization Jillian works for has engineered a starship with a faster-than-light drive, which will now allow his device to be field tested. The stardrive for that ship was developed from diagrams carved on the back of an ancient stone tablet excavated at the site of the Great Pyramid.Life for Christopher is about to make a radical departure from his party, happy-go-lucky lifestyle. Getting Christopher to focus on what needs to be done is a problem Jillian hadn’t counted on in her quest to save humanity. The predicted destruction of Earth, which is carved on the front of the tablet, doesn’t leave her much time and Christopher isn’t cooperating. What neither of them know is that the answer to survival is more than sixty five million light years away in light that left Earth just before the mass extinction of the dinosaurs.

Saxon Andrew

To attack the 300,000 ships going to attack Andromeda with only twelve hundred main battleships was suicidal. But to wait was just as dangerous. Whichever path they chose, everyone needed to take time to pray for the prey.

Lens of Time
Saxon Andrew
From the Number One International Bestselling Author Saxon Andrew comes the fourth book in the Lens of Time Series, The End of Time. This story continues the story of Earth’s war with the civilizations in the giant galaxy M87. Earth and its Minor Allies have defeated the first fleet of warships sent against them but now the Majors are planning to combine their forces. If that happens, no one will survive the massive fleets moving against them. What neither side of the struggle knows is that both warring parties have been designated for destruction by an ancient enemy that has never tasted defeated. The action continues in The End of Time as Earth continues the struggle to survive the overwhelming forces arrayed against it. Could this be the end of time for the warriors fighting for survival. This review is from: Lens of Time - Pray for the Prey (Lens of Time - (Book Three)) (Kindle Edition) It's already the third book in a great series. Even though there are some parts of this story I would call sad there are even more things that I would call awesome. The only thing i can say is that when you liked the first 2 books you will definitely like the third. I'm already waiting with anticipation on the fourth volume keep up the good work.Excerpt from The End of TimeTen sub-fleets were running from the millions of ships pursuing them. They had all jumped in to attack a secondary capital when the conference had been targeted and had been forced to flee before they could attack. Melodie listened to the other admirals and said, “We will jump into the spider’s web in exactly ten seconds from my mark. Ready, Mark.” Melodie looked at Greg and he said, “All ships are locked in on our position and have gone weightless.”“Move them away at maximum speed on emergence.”The ten sub-fleets emerged into normal space and every ship hit their thrusters and moved laterally away from their point of entry. The eight million ships in pursuit roared in and emerged into normal space to find themselves inside the event horizon of the largest black hole in the observable universe. The monster in the middle of M-87 had no peers and the Major ships immediately discovered their error.Melodie Watched as theeight million plus Major Ships that has chased her fleet were sucked into the black hole faster than she could see. The Spider had caught them in its massive gravity well and their jump drives wouldn’t function in that environment. The ten sub-fleets were weightless and unaffected by the massive gravity surrounding them. Greg looked up and said, “I’m really thankful Captain Phillips made the determination of how far we could move into the event horizon.”Melodie sighed and said, “Get us out of her and back to port.” She knew this escape tactic would only work once and the Majors would not jump in this close to the coordinates of the black hole again. At least this was an escape of last resort. Once they crossed the event horizon, they couldn’t jump out so the Majors could just keep them trapped. It wouldn’t be good to be forced to come back to the giant black spider’s web. Most prisoners that ventured close to this massive black hole were given a death sentence. The Lens of Time is the third science fiction series by Saxon Andrew.Visit us at annihilationseries.com or on face book at facebook.com/SaxonAndrewsUniverse or you can contact us directly at saxonandrew@msn.com.
