Some of his enemies think Kaiser Wrench has softened with age, but he leaps into action when he finds his secretary severely beaten and a mutilated tiger in his desk chair.

Private Detective Kaiser Wrench finds a dead vixen who has been beaten to death. He tries to stay out of it until he gets a note from someone he put in prison asking him to take the case. A reporter friend has stumbled onto a clue but dies with a handkerchief in his hand trying to get the information to him.

 

So begins a complicated and baffling case involving the sadistic deaths of other females trying to break into the fashion industry.
