The oldest of four, she was a daughter of military and followed her family to various duty stations throughout the United States. Finally settling in Missouri, she immersed herself in musical activities which included playing the flute and bassoon. Actively involved in music, Krista has always been fascinated with creativity and the arts. Often, she would spend time with her Aunt and Uncle and their in-laws. Collectors of vintage items, Krista fondly remembers their room full of hats from eras of the past. As an outgoing teen, she enjoyed creating impromptu skits for her younger cousin, assigning and performing a different character for each hat. Years later, after marriage and the birth of her twin boys, she was determined to complete her Associate of Arts degree with honors and proceed into the medical field. As an X-Ray student, she excelled academically as well as in clinical practice when her mind became restless. While on Holiday break from school, Krista felt the urge to dampen boredom by converting a recent daydream into a novella. Instantly, she was hooked on writing. Krista now lives with her husband and twin sons in Saint Robert, MO where she is always looking for new characters to create, and stories to unfold.
