These adventures, however, were written by the hand of writer of the novels. Which tells me that you have probably not read Nick Klaus's own writings. And how could you since I just came across them myself? . . . Do you know the places he visited during his trips? Whom he encountered with? And most of all, what were his reflections about having to go through so many incomplete landscapes or to meet so many strange characters? Well . . . here is your chance to catch up. In this volume, you have the opportunity to discover, experience, and learn how Nick Klaus felt during his long journey back home . . . Let me rephrase this as I may have to get back to you on this point. I'm not certain at all he has yet succeeded. A little wink of sort, he sends your way. Have fun. Perhaps you can find the way out for him, and if you do, please write to me at once, because more than anyone in the universe, I cannot wait to meet him. Nick Klaus also asks me to warn you that he will not be held responsible if you feel confused during the reading of this new adventure. In order to prevent such a tragic fate, which would certainly happen if you got trapped in the jumblelium, he recommends that you read some of his previous attempts to escape, at least read “Nick Klaus and the Room of the Lost Footsteps.” This is only way, he tells me, to prevent such a dreadful and unwelcome state from seizing you (or so he gracefully confided in me) . . .
